We loved the room, the place, the pool area, the breakfast and staff. Everything was so so close, there were medical doctor available 24/7 in various places , I think it is huge a bonus, the staff were so nice, helped us with information, and the beaches around are just magnificent, yes crowded , but no wonder everybody wants to enjoy the place. We loved that reception was available 24/7 ... I loved experience there. Room was perfect.

That I couldnt leave my balcony open, because somebody smoked there till the 3 in the morning, that made me crazy :D But it isnt hotels fault, because smoking is allowed so what can they do :) Maybe just some non-smoking house maybe, but I dont know if that is realistic. Anyway we loved the hotel.

Nice adults only resort and close to exploring beaches of Cala D’or. Also the breakfast was really great, plenty of options.

We stayed in the swim up pool. I would not recommend spending extra for this. The pool is connected with the other rooms and guests need to walk past your room to get to the plunge pool. we really didn’t like that there was no privacy. Also the rooms with pool face the road which really looses any sense of calmness. The main pool area is really nice, I recommend saving your money and using the main pool or going to the beach.

The staff and amenities are wonderful. This was our 2nd stay and the staff remembered us, which was really nice. Breakfast is really great and you can get eggs made to your liking plus real coffee. Get brekky included. The pool is lovely and has enough seats etc plus a 2nd pool + spa near the gym for morning laps. Really close to 3-4 super nice beaches to walk (or better still a scooter). Go to Cala Moro - don't queue up, jump off the rocks and swim to shore. ;) It's about 10 min walk to the main hub of restaurants. La Tromp was our fave there but there are many. We will come back again. Always a pleasure.

The rooftop bar could be so much better if they had a decent playlist and served good cocktails... have never been great sorry. We've had pina Coladas that are so weak and margaritas that are salty. This is the only thing that needs more work. It seems a shame to travel all the way from the UK to hear Ed Sheeran and other sugary pop songs on a rooftop in Spain with a barely drinkable cocktail. The cocktails by the pool were so much better.

Room was very spacious and clean with amazing walk in shower, air con worked well, the breakfast was top class fresh pancakes and omelettes made every few minutes, usual breakfast items, fresh fruit & bread, coffee, everything you could want, pool area was great and lovely roof top bar with reasonably priced cocktails, my new favourite hotel

The entire hotel complex was stunning. The breakfast buffet every morning had so many choices, and the quality of the food was top-notch. We also had dinner in the hotel once and were very impressed with the quality of the food and the cost. €25 per head with so much choice. The bar had a nice chilled atmosphere with cocktails-a-plenty to choose from. We got the sunset view room and it was worth the extra few quid as the view every evening was stunning while we were getting ready. A massive, extremely comfortable bed with a huge walk-in shower. The room was spotless and cleaned every 2nd day However, the real winners are the staff. They couldn't do enough for you, we got a glass of Cava on arrival and everything was explained in great detail. Location was perfect also, less than a 10 minute walk to a host of really nice shops, bars and restaurants and a further 10 minutes to the centre of town with even more bars and restaurants. Great holiday all round, couldn't fault it

Everything was perfect

Beautiful hotel in a peaceful location, 5 min walk to the beach and closest bar, 20 min walk to centre of the resort. Rooms were excellent and everywhere was very clean. Beautiful pool area with plenty of loungers and parasols, no issue with beds being reserved early morning so felt very relaxing. A little music around the pool would have been nice but that’s personal taste, the Euros football was on during our stay and they brought out tv’s so people could watch in the bar which plenty of people did. Breakfast buffet was excellent with everything you could want and food at the poolside bar was also very good. We enjoyed drinks on the rooftop bar a couple of times which was lovely in the evening sun and had lovely views.

Recently remodelled, everything looks new and inviting. Very quiet area, which we liked. Walls are a bit thin, so you can hear your neighbours but we had quiet neighbours on this trip, so all good. We enjoyed the little walk into town, we didn’t think it was that far at all. We preferred being away from the hustle and bustle and enjoyed the peace. The staff is very friendly, especially Alex at the omelette station - thank you for brightening up our mornings!

There was a bit of confusion about the coffee machines in the rooms. We booked a room that had one based on the pictures and would’ve loved to start our mornings with coffee in bed but turns out our room didn’t have one after all. If that’s important to you (as is to me, the coffee junkie) then I highly suggest you check with the hotel beforehand that you get one of the few rooms that have one. We cannot comment on the roof terrace because sadly that was still closed when we were here (end of April, early May).

The staff, especially Christian and Paula were amazing. Hotel feels luxurious and a great location for buses and short walk to Cala Fererra.

The hot breakfast was sometimes cold, coffee at breakfast from the machines was poor and it would be nice to be able to have food at your sun lounger rather than going to sit by the snack bar, and drinks in plastic cups instead of paper by the pool as it dampens the niceness of the cocktails!

Location was good about twenty minutes walk onto town. The spa was good and the gym is well equipped. Rooms are clean and modern and the staff are helpful. Roof bar is nice and the pool bar is good pool was a nice size with plenty of beds.

Morning breakfast was adequate, bacon was horrible and the sausages was really bad. The cereals wasn't that nice either. Also they cover the mushrooms in some herbs and the tomatoes had cheese on them not my type of food.

We have visited Cal D'Or many times over the years and this was our second time at Hotel Monsuau. We normally eat out but this time we had dinner in the hotel and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and the variation of the food. In our 11 days we did not get bored of the food, mixing it up with a Tapas night on the roof terrace. Staff were excellent throughout the hotel especially in the restaurant. We also had a swim up room and used this facility everyday as you were able to swim in it, unlike some others, along with a shallow area for chilling out on a sunbed. Main pool was also very good and never any stress about getting a sunbed.

Not easy to please everyone, but I found the bed to be too hard for my liking with a sort of thin topper mattress. The hotel could do more to advertise the entertainment that they had on in the evening as we often didn't know that there was anything on until we heard them perform!
