Melia Marbella Banús

We thought the staff were excellent, really helpful and friendly. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet at night. The cleaning service was excellent and we had lots of fresh towels. Excellent pool area with bar drinks and food available all day. Room large and bright with minimal design so easy to find your things. Breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of choice.

The TV was only available in Spanish and channels were limited. The evening buffet was a bit disappointing plus it was very expensive. A sign for the hotel where you turn off the A7 motorway would have been helpful.

The room was very simple, big but gives a feeling that it is empty, the general atmosphere in it is boring as there are no colors in it, you as a customer have to ask for any bathroom products you need and I do not like that, it was from the point of view of environmental conservation but I do not like this thing and better When I enter my room, the hotels are equipped with all the necessities, the breakfast was varied but the general feeling was that there was nothing where there was a lot of bread and no cereal, the woman the chef who worked in the egg department was kinda mean

Beautiful hotel , in a fabulous location with easy access to Puerto Banus and the beach. Suite was fantastic as was access to the Level, which is so worth the extra. Hotel is spotlessly clean, with fabulous gardens and surroundings. From the moment we arrived every staff member we interacted with were friendly , helpful and courteous . At the level special thanks to Ignacjo and Amalsa, but the piece de resistance was Paco , who looked after our every need and treated us like royalty. We will definitely return . Many thanks

A great place to stay with friendly helpful staff, large standard double room and a very good selection of foods for breakfast.

Dinner options were poor in late November. The buffet restaurant was closed in the evening. The a la carte restaurant offered an expensive fixed price menu. We tried it on our first night. Service was poor, we waited a long while between starters & mains then the mains were cold. A good stay but dine out in the evenings!

Great location right on the beach and close enough to walk to the port and lots of restaurants. Lovely pool area and very clean inside. The breakfast was nice and varied. Staff were welcoming and very good when we needed help.

Not enough sunloungers around the pool and too many people leaving towels on them and then leaving for the day. It was annoying when you have kids in the pool and you are trying to keep an eye on them.

Staff were superb - always actively checking if everything was okay, helpful, friendly and professional. Customer relations and experience was up there with the very best- you really felt as if staff were doing their best to make sure your experience was good. Room was comfortable - really liked good hairdryer, make up mirror and body lotion in Bathroom - and plenty of storage for all your stuff. Everything spotlessly clean. Quality and choice of breakfast excellent. Levels Lounge very good and worth the extra cost. Great location right by the Paseo Maritimo, a wide sea-level footpath that runs along the shore with seafront walks and access to beaches and bars etc- . 10 minutes one way takes you to the Port of Banus, and beyond that you can walk to San Pedro in 45 minutes. The other direction takes you to Marbella centre in just over an hour at a gentle walk.

Not a complaint but the restaurant was closed during our stay. Lots of places nearby and staff happy to recommend and book for you so it wasn't a problem. We could also get bar food served to us in the Levels lounge. But really think we should have been notified in advance that the restaurant and outdoor pool would be closed for refurbishment.

Very friendly and helpful staff, particularly in the Buffet Restaurant and the adjacent bar. I was on my own and all the staff went out of their way to make sure I was happy. Lovely room with a great view over the garden and the nearby beach. Enjoyed the fact that it was very easy to walk to Banus and particularly the long seafront walk towards Marbella - some great eating places en route. The Melia is an excellent centre for both families and couples/solo visitors and I would definitely recommend a holiday there.

Early in March so many facilities - pools and outside bars - were closed. A heated indoor pool would have been a bonus. Did feel that the Buffet Restaurant could, perhaps, have had a slightly more upmarket ambience, but the food was OK.

Well located very close to the beach and all the luxury shopping area. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Shout out to Almudena who has gone an extra mile to make our stay eventful. And yes do not forget to visit D.O.M, the house ala carte restaurant. The food there is absolutely tasty! Special shout out to Carlos too :) Cheese platters on arrivals and Rituals toiletries are nice touch to the experience. Being Level guests definitely enhances my stay further with free flow of drinks and snacks at the exclusive lounge.

Hotel was beautiful staff very friendly especially the girls in the kids club and staff at the pool bar

We travelled in a large group all was booked together I emailed hotel to mention it was my mothers special birthday she was put in a room with the worst view off the bins and scrub ground and never mentioned her birthday to her. I was disappointed
