Very nice large property right on the beach with a huge pool area. The room was beautiful with lots of space. The bathroom had a tub and shower, 2 sinks and nice amenities. Beds were comfy although it was 2 beds basically pushed together. We took the buffet breakfast and dinner and they were phenomenal, highly recommend as the food was hot, fresh and tasty. The staff in the hotel and restaurants were pleasant and went out of their way to make sure you had everything you needed/wanted. Highly recommend this place. AND they have pickleball courts / 4 nice ones with permanent nets.

The staff was more than amazing, so nice and professional,by far their best asset. Location is quite good and the Hotel itself, such a beautiful place to rest and forget about everything. Also Álvaro from Candor Wellness and his team have the best treatments.

Customers could smoke everywhere, woke us every morning (we were at a studio) and also in the surroundings of the swimming-pool.Maybe the law has changed... Also the swimming-pool was dirty; and there was no water pressure in our shower.

Room spacious and comfortable with all the amenities (except a kettle, but that's a Brit thing!) Balcony overlooking gardens. Breakfast buffet caters for all tastes with plenty of choice and an extremely jolly chef. The beach is a sand/pebble mix but commands great views. Several restaurant choices and poolside bar. We loved the pickleball courts too.

The menu could have had more Spanish/Mediterranean options.

I can't say enough good things about Playa de la Luz. It's an old school resort for the locals. The property is meticulously kept and beautiful. Our room had a patio in front looking at the pool, and a window looking directly at the Atlantic surf in back. The pool was huge and warm. Food in the restaurant was very good, and we got an hour-long free flamenco show unexpectedly while at dinner. I could have stayed there another week or two easily.

No criticisms about the resort. A tip to visitors - I went swimming in the Atlantic (very comfortable, even in early May) the evening we arrived, which was wonderful. I went out to swim it again the next morning, the tide had gone out and was a half mile out from the shore! Oh well, swim in the pool instead. Life is tough sometimes. ;-)

Beautiful new room, exceeding expectations. nNoce swinnng ppol and located directly on the beah. Waling to the northon the beach is very beautifal and calm. Also the duen area is very nice. If you like a good strawl you can walk southwards to the village for a nice urban beach life styp]le including beach football, beach clubs etc. Also nice to make use of the rental steps, There is a very cylcle path to the center.

Typical resort with dinner. Food is good but you have to like the buffet concept.

This is such a beautiful hotel with an amazing location right on the beach. The facilities are first class. Food at the restaurant was delicious. And the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The beds were uncomfortable, with the metal springs sticking in your back and made noise with every move.

Amazing hotel on the beach, great facilities, beautiful views. We had the best time and will return.

Really it is hard to find key negative factors. But I can share some improvements Some maintenance around the pool could have been scheduled out of season. The beach towel hand out and exchange was not easy (we had to go to reception each time) Also some Sun beds needed to be changed to new ones.

The hotel is a nice facility with friendly staff. Some typical clients should be reminded that this is a family hotel, but if you manage to void those and their peak pool times, you are OK.

breakfast buffet at high cost ends at 11am. Then the hotel bar opens, but has no breakfast options. Since the place is fairly isolated you are inclined to book buffet access.

We loved the location and all the amenities. It was a relaxing environment with a beautiful corridor right on the Atlantic Ocean.

Breakfast and lunch restaurants were very good but we really did not completely enjoy the dinners either at the buffet or the full serve restaurant.

Location, spectacular shower, comfy beds, nice atmosphere, lovely outdoor areas, wonderful entertainment staff.

Common indoor areas (hallways etc) not air conditioned, breakfast buffet was not well-stocked (there were long lines for slow coffee machines, or waiting for more dishes...)
