The property is beautiful with gorgeous views. Breakfast is lovely when sitting outside. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The dinner service was outstanding, but the food was just ok. We had expected better after reading other reviews.

The location was exceptional, the views of the valley from the hotel and swimming pool were really beautiful. The place was peaceful, surrounded by nature with just the noise of the wind, the birds and the occasional sheep, an amazing place to disconnect. The rooms & the interior design were charming, the outside patio absolutely stunning and the food was excellent!

Everything was excellent, the only thing I would change if I could is to make this place adults only. We chose this place as it was catalogued as one of the most peaceful hotels in Mallorca and we must say that the presence of children, particularly in the swimming pool area, does ruin the atmosphere of peace & quiet a little bit. The restaurant isn’t exclusive to hotel guests, so no guarantee that you’ll be able to have lunch or dinner in the outdoors patio, as there are only a few tables and can fill up quickly.

We loved our stay - we had the Villa (my daughter and I and a friend) we didn’t have a car but we were very happy by the pool. Marc, the Manager was fabulous and very accomodating - we walked up and down for breakfast daily and dinner a few times which we like to do - both meals were fabulous with friendly and happy staff - we will be back! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Nothing for us - but those who want to travel around the area hire a car - we had already done this prior to staying so didn’t feel the need to do so!

All the staff were wonderful and made my solo stay feel less lonely and very comfortable. Thank you to James, Olga, and Lis for your kind hospitality. Breakfast and dinner were outstanding. Lastly, the views and peaceful nature of Orient/San Palou were something I've never experienced. I felt like I was in a dream and did not want to wake up. I will be back soon.

Wifi was a bit slow in the room. Room could have used a more thorough vacuuming.

Finca Son Palou; what a wonderful combination of beauty, warm hospitality and tranquillity! The location is absolutely stunning. From the beautiful views at the large and well-kept front lawn, where we enjoyed a morning read or afternoon white wine, to the infinity pool overlooking the valley and the walks across the beautiful estate, with its olive trees, sheep and fields. And beyond that the beautiful Tramuntana mountains! Breakfast and dinner is a delight; lots of delicious things to choose from, and served by an expert staff, really wonderful people who combine true professionality with warm personal hospitality. In all, what a fabulous experience! Our stay was a bit short (8 nights) but on return we felt like we had enjoyed a really long relaxing holiday. We will certainly be back!

I wouldn't know how to improve on this experience ...

A stunning location and facilities and pool. We made a last minute visit with our two infant children and the staff could not have been more accommodating. The food and breakfast were impeccable and the staff really made it. We wished the rooms had self catering facilities as we would have stayed for several more days. This is a great, quiet idyllic getaway.

The location is a tough remote so it’s not a great base if you want to go to the beaches etc but the pool & mountains make up for it. We wished this had some self catering facilities as we could have stayed much longer.

The setting and location are superb, the food excellent and the staff attentive and efficient.

We stayed for 2 nights on the second of which we had lukewarm hot water in the evening and no hot water at all in the morning. No apology (never mind discount!) was offered.

Everything about this place was incredible. The setting, the staff, the food and the general ambience of the place were amazing. We travelled with our 7month old and this was our first trip abroad with him. The staff at Son Palou made it so incredibly easy and welcoming that we are now way more confident and comfortable that travelling is an option. Cannot recommend the place more highly.

Its not really a 'dislike' but I would warn anyone hiring a car to err on the side of caution and go with a slightly smaller car if possible. The roads on the way to Son Palou are incredibly tight, winding and in places not wide enough for vehicles to pass each other. It will make your stay a lot calmer if you do not have to worry as much about navigating the blind hairpins everytime you return to the hotel! That said....its a wonderful experience to drive up the road!

this is a really lovely place in a beautiful location. we loved the pool, the gardens and the rooms. the surroundings are so peaceful all you can hear is birdsong.

dinner was a bit expensive.

All food was excellent and lovely staff. Great place to meet up with friends.

The hotel was recommending the walks and gave us a map to follow. The walks were nearly impossible to follow as they have not been cleared recently. They did have big storms last winter but would not recommend walking until they clear paths.
