Finca Son Palou is a hidden gem tucked away in the mountainside of Orient. The road to get there is a bit winding, but once you're on the premises it is immediate peace and relaxation. We were warmly greeted with a tour of our suite and of the entire estate. The staff are attentive and were so so attentive - I think this was the most accommodative place I've ever stayed at. They really go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. Breakfast is so yummy, plentiful, and fresh. I could not stop raving about how the eggs just tasted different than back in the states lol. And the pool is clean, serene, and the perfect place to bathe. All in all, this is my favorite place I've ever stayed at because of the attention to detail and wonderful staff. Thank you!

The property is beautiful with gorgeous views. Breakfast is lovely when sitting outside. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The dinner service was outstanding, but the food was just ok. We had expected better after reading other reviews.

This is a hotel with lots of history. The Finca is lovely with a beautiful courtyard for breakfast. The breakfast is very good. Staff at breakfast are very helpful and friendly. The location has beautiful views of the Orient valley. The pool area maximises the views and has very comfortable loungers. We booked a junior suite which was very spacious. We decided on half board for meals and it was a delight to choose from the menu each evening. The terrace has garden views with mountains behind. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We had 3 days of excellent rest and relaxation.

I needed to relax and detox from a very busy time at work. This was perfect. I slept in, had a lovely breakfast, then sat in the sun and read my book and also swam in the pool. Then I drove around coastal villages exploring them and doing a little shopping. Then came back and had a delicious dinner. The strawberry Gazpacho was so good that I have recreated it here in the UK, or I attempted to recreate…

Bed mattress could have been a bit more comfy but I am splitting hairs. It was fine and I slept like a baby. Also, thicker fabric on the windows to block the light. I didn’t want to close the shutters as I wanted the air to come in.

The location was exceptional, the views of the valley from the hotel and swimming pool were really beautiful. The place was peaceful, surrounded by nature with just the noise of the wind, the birds and the occasional sheep, an amazing place to disconnect. The rooms & the interior design were charming, the outside patio absolutely stunning and the food was excellent!

Everything was excellent, the only thing I would change if I could is to make this place adults only. We chose this place as it was catalogued as one of the most peaceful hotels in Mallorca and we must say that the presence of children, particularly in the swimming pool area, does ruin the atmosphere of peace & quiet a little bit. The restaurant isn’t exclusive to hotel guests, so no guarantee that you’ll be able to have lunch or dinner in the outdoors patio, as there are only a few tables and can fill up quickly.

We loved our stay - we had the Villa (my daughter and I and a friend) we didn’t have a car but we were very happy by the pool. Marc, the Manager was fabulous and very accomodating - we walked up and down for breakfast daily and dinner a few times which we like to do - both meals were fabulous with friendly and happy staff - we will be back! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Nothing for us - but those who want to travel around the area hire a car - we had already done this prior to staying so didn’t feel the need to do so!

The gardens and pool area are stunning - a really pleasant surprise. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all decent, and the outside location for all three was lovely. Overall the staff were all very friendly and made us feel very welcome.

The one blot on the whole stay was that the aircon didn't work properly. As it happens, we didn't need it, but it needs to be fixed for future summer stays.

All the staff were wonderful and made my solo stay feel less lonely and very comfortable. Thank you to James, Olga, and Lis for your kind hospitality. Breakfast and dinner were outstanding. Lastly, the views and peaceful nature of Orient/San Palou were something I've never experienced. I felt like I was in a dream and did not want to wake up. I will be back soon.

Wifi was a bit slow in the room. Room could have used a more thorough vacuuming.

Finca Son Palou; what a wonderful combination of beauty, warm hospitality and tranquillity! The location is absolutely stunning. From the beautiful views at the large and well-kept front lawn, where we enjoyed a morning read or afternoon white wine, to the infinity pool overlooking the valley and the walks across the beautiful estate, with its olive trees, sheep and fields. And beyond that the beautiful Tramuntana mountains! Breakfast and dinner is a delight; lots of delicious things to choose from, and served by an expert staff, really wonderful people who combine true professionality with warm personal hospitality. In all, what a fabulous experience! Our stay was a bit short (8 nights) but on return we felt like we had enjoyed a really long relaxing holiday. We will certainly be back!

special and quiet location, gorgeous view, spacious room, friendly staff, swimming pool with infinity pool.

I think the room doors should be replaced for better soundproofing.
