It is a cosy and stylish Hostal . It is not fresh new but equipment still good enough and it is very clean. It is funny to see the trams passing by every half hour (9-9pm). It is directly facing a street with low traffic but still some (during the night only now and then). There is only staff (extremely nice and efficient Alba) from morning to 15:00. Breakfast is basic (poor fruits selection, yogurts low cost, etc.) We were there in end of June and we know the Porto Sóller is a more exclusive resort than other spots in the island but still we found almost 200€ per night too much for the what is offered . The location , decoration, Alba (breakfast, cleaning, informations, etc), the tables for breakfast in the small garden outside. The communication pre arrival was also good.

Bathroom a bit old and small, the price.

Pretty much everything! The information before arrival was friendly and efficient and it was easy to settle in. The hotel is small, clean and comfortable with a nice patio garden for breakfast and relaxing. The breakfast is really good! The location of the Hotel Sol is fantastic - close to beaches, cafes and shops and with the tram passing outside, but still quiet and away from the hectic seafront. The staff are lovely too.

It would have been useful to have some sort of drying rack for swimming things etc, even better if this fitted inside the shower cubicle as there was no balcony. It’s a small point though.

Location, price., aircon. The front suite is great, tall cielings, effectively has 3 sit out balconies, 2 out , 1 inside. great view of valley, afternoon/ evening sun. The little black cat who visits at breakfast time.

The first photo is NOT THE HOTEL, it shows the port which is a 20 minute walk away. Upststairs floors are very noisy early morning/ overnight. , you hear every footstep/draw opening, cupboard closing, and muffled conversation. Tired decor, external paint peeling.badly on windows. No hot drink /fridge facility in room. TV has no English channel or apps (eg netflix/amazon). Just a Single communal mini fridge downstairs. Repetitive cold breakfast: Fruit, bread, croissant, cheese, meats, tomatoes. After 3pm unstaffed and locked up. We had to take our cases out by 3pm but had 9pm taxi for airport.! Should be no smoking 🚭 on the tiny breakfast terrace while breakfast is served and folks are eating..

Staff was friendly and helpful. Let us borrow some dishes, as in the room there were only glasses. Hotel is in a quiet part of Port de Soller, but only 5 min walk to the beach and cafes. Room was clean, had 2 WC and a shower. Big advantage for a family of 4. Nice breakfast with freshly baked bread and cruasaint in a shade of bougainvillea. We were lucky that guests were quiet, only 2 doggies barking sometimes (hotel allows to stay with pets), but it was not a problem for us 🙂

Community fridge was extremely small. Smallest I've ever seen. Like one you can find in a hotel room. But here it was supposed to be used by guests of 6 rooms. Public parking was quite big, but in July if you arrive midday it is impossible to find a spot. Our tactic was to explore island after lunch and come back not earlier 17:00.

The location was great as it was away from the main bay by 50m so alot quieter than some other places, and yet so close to some fabulous restaurants. Its a small guest house with only a few rooms, and the people staying were from a varieties of countries. It reminded me of my travelling days. A lovely little shaded garden at the front to enjoy the good continental breakfast (and really good cafe con leche), plus a good place to hang out and stay out of the sun. The aircon was great which was a bonus as there was a heatwave!

The only thing I would say was missing was a bu=in and a mirror in the bedroom. They were available in the bathroom, so not a major deal.

Ideally positioned for port and restaurants. Good information from host how to access the property when arriving out of hours. It had a very pleasant outdoor area .staff were very helpful.

We were on the top floor and the stairs were very steep. External bathroom not ideal and we didn’t have a balcony also there was no mirror in the room or tea making facilities.

A very charismatic building in a convenient location. Check in went smoothly: the instructions were clear and a helpful lady did meet us. We stayed in a double room suit and there was an a/c in both rooms. The trams passing by were loud just enough to create additional ambiance, but not too loud as to be disturbing. Nice walking distance to the paid for public parking lot and to the beach a bit further.

The guest fridge downstairs in the lunchroom was tiny. We stayed in the double room and wished there was a bit more furnishings, like more than one chair, for example. Would also be great if there was something (like a flag, sticker, paint...) to prevent me from hitting my head against the tops of the unusually low entries into both bathrooms. It is also worth mentioning for the people who are sensitive to this stuff, that as least in the room we were staying there was a distinct "old house" musky odor. It was mitigated by blasting a/c, which isn't the best solution. I realize, not much the management can do about this complaint.

This is a great base for exploring the Soller area. Large parking a couple of meters from the hotel. It was free in December, otherwise it’s 8 eur per day I think. The tram also stops just in front of the hotel. 2 min from the waterfront. Very good breakfast. Very nice staff, the young lady taking care of us was very kind and friendly. Comfortable bed. Good wifi. TV with Netflix.

Very thin walls, we could hear everything from the hallway. Breakfast starts at 9 which is quite late. Would have appreciated more storage space for clothes. You have to walk stairs up to the rooms so not suitable for people who have troubles walking stairs.

We booked a room with external bathroom as no ensuite rooms were available, I was extremely pleased to find we had a large bedroom with adjoining area with a sofa and bathroom. The room was very spacious & comfortable, Netflix were a huge bonus and the breakfast of cereal, fruit, yogurt, coissants, cheese & ham was delicious. Highly recommended, quirky decor only a stone's throw from the beach.

Excellent breakfast with good local bread, tasty coffee and fruits. The hostel is very close to the beach esplanade with lots of good bars and restaurants only a small walk away. The staff were delightful - friendly and full of laughter. The hostel is very simple but clean and quiet.

Foam mattresses were hot, sweaty and squeaked with every move.
