It was Really clean and well maintained room. The owner was very much helpful. Even though we are from Srilanka he was guiding us how to start the trip and what are unique places to visit at Ella. We travelled using a rented bike so we were able to cover all the areas which he told us. Overall, a good trip.

They had hot water but the difference between the hot water and the cold water was almost same might be because of the cold weather the water was not getting heated automatically from the tap.

The location was fantastic. Very conveniently located in between the trainstation and the mainstreet. it was nice and quiet in the evening and at night. Really nice to sit outside the room on the terrace. The room was spotless as well as the bathroom. Nice hot shower. Good breakfast served as you like it and at the time you prefer. We had Sri Lankan one morning and English the other. The family running the place will do whatever it takes to make your stay in Ella memorable.

Samiru and his wife are very attentive and welcoming hosts, who always find time to help out with our needs. Samiru provided lots of recommendations about the area and as per our requests also gave us rides to different sightseeing spots with his tuktuk. The guest house is located in a quiet area yet bars, restaurants and the train station can be reached within a few minutes. Thank you, Samiru, for the delicious lunch boxes you prepared for our train ride and for the interesting conversations about Sri Lanka. Your hospitality made our stay in Ella unforgettable :) All the best for your family and your guest house!

We had an amazing stay here, the room was very clean and spacious. The host was lovely and helped us with recommendations, he also prepared us a lovely breakfast each morning. If I were to come back I would definitely book here again, out of the two weeks of traveling Sri Lanka this was the most comfortable place we have stayed.

You could not find a more conveniently situated (a short walk from the station), or better managed guesthouse! Chandra and Nadi are charming and efficient. It is close enough to town to stroll down for dinner. My husband loved the breakfast, served on our big veranda, and I loved how clean our room was.

If there is a negative, it's the mucky view across the roofs and laundry. A hot shower in the morning would've been appreciated, although the water was always hot at night.

Review: The host is a wonderful person. No matter what the situation was, he and his staff always made an effort to assist us. We truly felt well taken care of throughout our stay. The price-performance ratio is great, making it an excellent value. Although the hotel may not appeal to everyone aesthetically, the rooms are well-maintained and spacious. Overall, I would recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a friendly and supportive environment!

Very friendly and welcoming family! The room was very clean and the bathroom looked brand new with a great shower! The breakfast was amazing and our hosts were helpful in providing breakfast at flexible times so we could go hiking. Our room had a kettle and fridge which was nice to have! Great location near restaurants and hiking trails but not too close to the noise!

The neighbours sometimes burned their rubbish near our room but nothing the hosts can do about this!

Very friendly family that owned the property. Room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Very comfy bed. Room came with a fridge and a fan that worked well. Ella can be cold at night so it was lovely to have a duvet. Property was a 5 minute walk into town (uphill walk from town to property). Short walk to the train station. 30 minute walk to 9 bridges of Ella. Overall a very good stay.

Friendly hosts, not pushy about arranging stuff with them, but still very helpful. Super clean room with fridge and kettle. Shower was warm, with big water stream. Did laundry there for a good price. Comfortable outside patio. Overall very good experience.

One star less because sometimes you could hear the music of the café downstairs. It was very minor though, did not disturb our sleep or anything.

Everyone at this property is very friendly and helpful! They organised a taxi for us on the last day to bring us to the nationalparks and we could leave our backpacks at their property. They arranged a really delicious breakfast with a stunning view! The room was clean and quite big, we even had a mosquito net. All in all it was a really nice stay and the location of the property is perfect because you only need 5 minutes to get to the city center and at nighttime it is very calm up there!
