Beautiful location and very tranquil! Food was great and authentic. Restaurant staff were lovely and helpful. Pool is a good size. Cycling was a great option to have.

They are very bad of communicating with booking.com. We needed to change few dates. More than one month they could not sort out after many attempts. Manager at the hotel just wanted the money for the days we didn’t stay. Had to call booking.com many time for this. We had to prove to them that there was no communication to booking.com from there side by getting a email sent from booking.com. Finally on the day of checking in they had no choice but not to charge us. They also made mistake by charging for something twice at check out. When we asked where that bill came from they took out the bill but no apologies for the mistake from the manager who was there. Found the experience unacceptable from this hotel.

I had the most incredible experience at this beautiful resort. First of all, the location was absolutely stunning. Situated amidst the lush greenery of the jungle, the resort offered breathtaking views and serene surroundings. The bungalows were beautifully designed and blended perfectly with the natural environment. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the amazing staff, especially our butler Thiloke. He went above and beyond to ensure that we were well taken care of and had everything we needed. His attentiveness and warm hospitality made us feel truly pampered. The resort also boasted an exceptional restaurant with a wide variety of delicious food and drinks. We were impressed with the quality and taste of the dishes, and the drinks were equally delightful. The whole dining experience was a treat for our taste buds. One of the things that stood out to me the most was the resort's commitment to giving back to the local community. They donate a significant portion of their earnings to the local communities, and three years ago, they even funded the construction of a church. This level of social responsibility was truly admirable and made our stay even more meaningful. Overall, I cannot recommend this resort enough. From the stunning location and beautiful bungalows to the exceptional staff and philanthropic initiatives, it exceeded all our expectations. If you're looking for a place that combines natural beauty, luxury, and a genuine sense of community, this resort is the perfect choice.

If you like to disconnect from stress and hectic this is the right place as the hotel is located in the rice paddies and very peaceful. The food in the restaurant was excellent.

We stayed in a room at the rice paddies and the entrance door could not be properly locked which did not feel safe. Even if you locked it one could easily open it from outside. The same with the door to the outdoor bathroom. One needs to be aware that in the afternoon there are tiny flies around the pool area which are biting and it makes it very unpleasant to lay there.

Beautiful remote location in the middle of the rice fields and forest. Lots of animals around you including monkeys, lizards, birds, butterflies. Amazing pool. Very attentive staff and great Chef; lots of delicious home cooking and self made bread and pastries. Different menu every day.

Interior of bungalows is basic, bit outdated. This accommodation is not for the light hearted - it rained a lot and the rain brought out huge spiders and scorpions.

We came to this hotel for four nights as part of our honeymoon. We wanted luxury but also wanted a sense of adventure from the hotel, which is exactly what we got. The room was lovely - it was minimal but luxurious with a great outdoor bathroom and bathrobes etc. There was no aircon which didn't matter at all, and no TV, which we didn't even notice until we checked out. The deck was great where we had pre-dinner drinks each evening. The location of the hotel is incredible surrounded by paddy fields and a river running alongside which you can swim in. There was so much wildlife which we absolutely loved - monkeys, peacocks, monitor lizards, geckos and loads of different birds. I am terrified of spiders so was slightly apprehensive about the outdoor shower and being in the middle of the jungle but we didn't see any big spiders, which was good. The staff at the hotel are absolutely amazing, so friendly and really knowledgeable about the local area and Sri Lanka - we loved all the staff. We actually left our passports and cash in the room safe when we left to go to our next hotel. The manager Dinesh packed our valuables securely and arranged a tuktuk to drive to deliver it to us. We really appreciated this as we were panicking about getting it all back. We really enjoyed the food and liked that a lot of it came from the local area - it was all super fresh and tasty. We loved this hotel so much and had such a brilliant time staying here.

The staff at this hotel went above and beyond to make our holiday a special one. I was even treated to a present on my birthday! Our tuk tuk driver also doubled as a very thoughtful tour guide. Would highly recommend staying in these beautiful grounds over staying in Ella town itself - would come back in a heart beat.

The chalets have an amazing view. The pool is very clean and the deck chairs over looking the rice paddies and mountains make for the perfect relaxation setting . The staff are very attentive and friendly, they try to accommodate all requests from guests. This has been one of the best places we have ever stayed at. Highly recommend .

Only in Ella for one night. Arrived at lunchtime in the centre and it was buzzing. We were a bit upset our driver had booked us into a hotel 30 mins away from all the life. How wrong we were, this place was so wonderful. To be in this beautiful resort with nature surrounding you with the most beautiful staff and food was such a wonderful thing. Go there, you won’t regret it.

this is a truly unique and special place to stay. we have never seen views like it from a hotel and you really feel you are ‘with nature’. the pool is just a few meters from an authentic working paddy field which has many beautiful birds surrounding it (including peacocks). staff were very attentive and helpful.

Waking up in the middle of the nature, the exceptional food, the sound of peacocks like it’s normal to hear!! Our butler Dilani took good care of us and made sure that our stay was superb.
