Beautiful quiet Homestay located less than 5min walk from Main Street in Ella. The hosts were lovely and breakfast was fantastic. There was parking for our Tuktuk and the host gave us some very good recommendations on things to do in Ella as well as laundry service. The room was clean and comfortable and had a lovely seated area outside as well. Highly, highly recommend!

Nothing at all, one of our favourites stays in Sri Lanka!

The location is perfect. On one hand it’s really close at the train station and on the other it’s just a 5 min walk to town center, but also absolutely quiet during night. The owner is really helpful and shares advice for day trips. You can also rent a scooter there.

Just a hint: the last part of the way to the accommodation is a steep stairway. However travelling with a suitcase could be inconvenient.

Lovely place in a nice location. The owner Vasanthas and his wife are very nice - for our journey to Colombo he allowed us to use his personal driver and even gave us some bananas for the journey (grown at the propery). Would have stayed one more night but we didn't realise how far Columbo was and needed to be there to fly home the next morning. Property is very close to main road restaurants, shops and bars etc etc.

Bed little uncomfortable but generally OK. Otherwise there isn't anything not to like.

Super friendly and helpful hosts, spacious rooms, luscious breakfast, 5 minutes walk to city centre, 2 minutes walk to trainstation, over all: wonderful place!!!

Not really a minus, just something to be aware of: when with small kids and a stroller, it can be quite exhausting to bring everything and everyone up and down the stairs between road and accomodation. But also the host helped whenever he could, so definitely not a complaint!

Great location a very short walk from the station. Close enough to town to stroll in but not be disturbed by the town noise. We loved the view through the trees. Owner & staff we very helpful.

Hot water only just dribbled out of the tap I'm afraid; it took a while to get wet. Don't know why but definitely not a plus point.

The owners were really friendly and accomodating. The breakfast was great. It was a great location just a short walk to train station and ella town. We also walked from the accommodation to 9 arch bridge and little Adams peak. He drove us to our next accommodation and helped organise our Yala tour. Great service. Would come back

Excellent located guest house that truly feels like a home stay. The family were extremely welcoming and helpful, even driving us to the waterfall and then on to our day out. The breakfast was stunning, beautiful food overlooking the garden. Location was an easy walk from the train station and into town. Highly recommend staying

- great location 5 minutes to the train station - friendly staff immediately offered me tea and gave me a map of the area explaining the trails - comfortable room - beautiful terrace surrounded by plants

- steep steps make it hard to carry luggage - the faucet in the bathroom was a bit broken

geeat little guesthouse amazing location just a quick walk from the center and train station beautiful garden with a nice view into the nature (no mountain view) hosts were very nice - we totally recommend the cooking class they booked for us in a place called Honey Bee Garden - it was just awesome :) we even extended our stay for 1 more night, good value for money

Very nice place,hidden in the garden. Very calm and chill. Owners are helpful and kind. You can do your laundry there. 4minutes walk from train station and 5 minutes walk from Ella town. Breakfast Was lovely . Homemade jam...yummy! Recommended!
