Quality furniture, good mattress and a nice sized room. I enjoyed the gym too and the reception lobby where you get free fruit, sweets and ice infused water.

When we arrived late in the night we learned that there is no room with a king sized bed (as we booked) and the night receptionist told us very rudely that is our fault as we arrived so late and all rooms are given. The night receptionist and his manager were unfriendly and there was no welcome, no hello given after such a long journey. We also wrote some messages that were never answered too. After a long argument with the 2 in the middle of the night we got a new room the 2nd day. Nice hotel otherwise but we remained with a bad taste in our mouth and will not return.

This is the 2nd time I'm staying at this hotel and that says a lot about how much I like this place. We rarely go back to the same hotel if we don't like it. Anyhow here are the good things about this hotel::::::: The location::: It is almost next door to the train station. You are very close to the heart of the city center and all the shops, restaurants, and sightseeing places. You can walk everywhere. You are also 5 min away from the grocery store called COOP. Coop is located in the train station. The soundproof rooms:: I stayed at this hotel for 3 days and I did not hear one single noise. It was as if the rooms were soundproof. It is amazing to be able to sleep and enjoy your time in your room with no noise. Stunning views:: If you get a room on a higher floor then you get to experience stunning sunsets and sunrises. Imagine all the cool photos you can take and enjoy. I absolutely loved the view from the room. Lobby fruit/water:: In the lobby, they had this fruit and water station or whatever it is called. Every day they had fresh fruits, water, and candy. It was a lovely thing. For example, if you come to the hotel and you are tired, it is so nice with some water. That was actually a really nice and welcoming thing they had in the lobby. Fast Lifts:: I stayed on a higher level and I was amazed at how quickly the lifts were coming and going. Usually, when you stay on a higher floor, it takes ages for the lifts to come and go due to high traffic with folks. But here I feel everything ran smoothly. The comfy beds:: Super comfy and wide and big. The pillows and blankets were also super comfy.

The only thing I wish they had is a pool and sauna. That would be so nice if they had this. Other than this, nothing to complain about.

Nice room, big, clean, tidy. Bath was nice as was the shower. Quiet, strong WiFi. Water & ice machine on each floor was nice and handy to have (bit old, dated and creaky, but convenient). Great location.

Terrible check-in experience - Very slow, inefficient despite having already paid in full and checked-in online prior to arrival. Staff all on phone and uncaring when trying to obtain a second key card (power to room only works with keycard, meaning you can't charge any devices when out with only 1 keycard). Bath Salts had run out. Front revolving door access difficult with big, bulky bags. Side door locked for entry/not working. Pillows overly soft and squishy. Only 1 keycard provided. Not fantastic value for money. Couple of USB slots - More would be better near desk and bed. Power socket next to desk blocked and not working.

Breakfasts were excellent, as you would expect from Radisson Blu. All the usual plus mushrooms and grilled cherry tomatoes. Had a couple of dinners there too, which also were very good. The location was good, very close to the central station, and within easy walking distance of the waterfront and old town etc.

My wife thought the beds were a bit hard (not as firm as beds in China, but pretty hard). There was a regular fight with staff each morning at breakfast time, with staff trying to deliver coffee jugs to the table (not wanted by us) and take plates, serviettes and cutlery away while you were off getting the next course. In the end, one of us had to stay behind to guard the cutlery, while the other went back to the servery.

Very central, big rooms, great views, excellent breakfast. Nice touch with providing water and clementines at the reception.

The staff at the reception was distant and some of them could pay more attention - we asked for a room with a shower in the reservation, we mentioned it again during check-in, they said yes, of course, nevertheless it didnt have a shower so we had to drag all the luggage back and go change the room. That could have been avoided. I was also told that if I apply for Radisson card, I will get the points for the current stay as well, which was not the case. The stupid system that Radisson has everywhere for the shower gel, soap, etc. Cleanliness could be improved a bit (eg. the shower wasn't properly clean after the first day, only two days after).

We visit Stockholm often, and this hotel would be top of the list. Great location close to central railway station and an easy walk to shopping, restaurants, and the old town. We had a wonderful view of city hall and the lake from our room. Breakfast is fabulous, and staff are friendly and helpful. There are free goodies, fruit, and drinks available for guests near Reception which is a really nice touch. Thank you for that.

The check-in process compared to other hotels is slow, and painful even when you have prepaid. This time I checked in on-line to reduce the pain, but regretted it because it didn't seem to make the process any quicker. Staff on Reception were lovely, but the hotel policies make checking in cumbersome, tiring, and annoying. We often stay at other hotels in Stockholm because of this, and only choose this beautiful hotel for special occasions.

Location close to centre, easy to walk everywhere. Central Station is a few steps away giving quick access to the airport. Quiet and clean rooms. All staff were very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend it. Reception staff (clara) were very patient with my questions and gave me plenty of helpful tips and recommendations on how to visit nearby islands. I highly recommend it for comfort and ease.

Two points: 1. The light could come in early morning, especially during summer, which makes it hard to sleep. (Blackout curtains would be great to block the light) 2. The breakfast buffet has the same items every day. Sometimes overcrowded

Room was great with good views. Clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were good with a good range to choose from. One point of confusion, milk was labelled Lactose free but no semi skimmed milk option appeared to be available. This may be only labelling and mean the same but it is confusing to UK visitors who are not used to Lactose free milk as the norm.

Pedestrian access route from Central Station can be confusing because of multiple exits from station. It would help if the best route for accessing the hotel was included as part of the advance booking info.

Breakfast was very Swedish and tasty. Breads were often warm, Filmjolk was plentiful as were various Swedish jams, cheese. I did not try the British breakfast. Coffee was the best, hot on every table. Also the coffee machines worked perfectly for a cappuccino. Hotel is right outside the Central Train Station, so didn't even need a taxi. Located walking distance to Gamla Stan, The boats to Drottningholm, Stadtshuset is a quick walk and a beautiful waterfront place to relax.

The soap/shampoo dispensers squirted straight out, so it was hard to catch it in your hand. The hand soap went on my clothes as well as my husband's clothes before we figured out to put a hand in front of the trajectory. Not a show stopper.

The location of the hotel was ideal as it was next to the train station which had an express train to the airport and it was just a short walk to the old town. The views from the top floor were excellent as it overlooked the old town and the lake. Although being close to the train station the sound proofing was excellent as you could hardly hear any sound coming from outside, The breakfast had a good selection. The hotel took notice that it was my wife's birthday and had provided cake and a card in the room prior to our arrival.

Although our room was very nice the open storage area is not very practical. It was very difficult to hang a dress and its not big enough for stays of more than a couple of days and being open just makes the room feel messy. A cupboard with doors and drawers would be far more practical and more appropriate to a business class room. Also the bathroom was a bit on the small side considering it was a premium room.
