If I could rate this Lodge with 100* I would! This beautifully immaculate hotel was a pleasure to stay at. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed, a living area with a pull out bed that was also comfortable. It had a kit, balcony, walk-in shower, and plenty of closets. The supermarket and train station were a five minute walk away. It only takes 20 minutes to get to the middle of Zurich and 15 minutes to the airport by train. Even though I couldn't rate the restaurant because we didn't eat there, the food smelled amazing. They had a bar, too. They also have a laundry and ironing room. I saw a conference room for business guests. The staff, especially Neil, were accommodating. They just wanted to make our vacation enjoyable. I highly recommend this getaway for individuals and business people alike.

I was traveling with my husband and daughter from Brazil to London, and the flight had a 28h connection in Zurich, so we decided to book a hotel close to the Airport to get some rest. We went from the airport to the hotel by bus, which was reasonably easy even with 3 large suitcases. The Allegra Lodge hotel is beautiful, well decorated, with polite and helpful staff. The room was a good size and very comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety and was very tasty. It is very close to a train station, many local shops, and supermarkets. If we go to Zurich someday we would definitely stay at this hotel again.

There weren't many entertainment options for children (my daughter is 7 years old). We only found a foosball table close to the breakfast area and in the bedroom the TV had Youtube.

This is my second stay at Hotel Alegra Lodge. The Hotel is a great value for Switzerland. This time we got two very nice modern rooms in the main hotel which. The modern style was beautiful and much improved from our last stay. It's possible they remodelled the hotel. The breakfast was convenient but did not have as many options as the last time we stayed. We loved that it is located right next to the train and across from a bus stop. We stayed one night before traveling to Lake Lugano and the man at the front desk was extremely helpful, he gave us great directions on how to best reach our destination.

Breakfast is outrageously good; that's one of the big reasons we keep returning to this hotel! Very wide assortment of fresh breads, rolls, pastries, meats, cheeses and yogurts, plus American standards like eggs and bacon. Three fully automatic coffee machines stand ready to make whatever caffeinated beverage you want. And it's all well organized so it's easy to get exactly what you want in a hurry. There's no longer a dedicated shuttle to the airport, instead they direct you to the B 731 bus just about 50m (two minutes) down the street from the hotel, which comes every 30 minutes and drops you off at the airport 10 minutes later for only CHF 2.70, one tenth of what the shuttle cost. No waiting for the shuttle to leave and much quicker! It's a low-floor kneeling bus so it's cinch to drag your luggage in to the large open area accessible through the huge middle door.

Not all the bedside USB power ports worked. So double check before assuming your device is charging. We were in an older, albeit totally refurbished room in the original Allegra property, rather than the Lodge as the booking would indicate.

We landed at ZRH airport but our trip start from Lugano so we asked them to drop some baggage before check in date. This property was so kind, the staff allowed us to drop some baggage in advance without any charge. Everything was perfect, the staff, the service, the room, the public area, supermarket nearby, the location- their apartment buildings is just behind the train station (Kloten Station) but it's quiet.

The room was a little bit dark if they add more downlight lamp on the ceiling would be 10/10

It is a normal hotel with all the necessary services and politeness. Sleeping in the even numbered side of the building, but never realized that trains were coming and going undr your window until well into midnight and loud clicking resumes at 5 in the morning. Not a good night sleep which I am looking for. Bus service is 8 minutes to airport terminal, and relatively coonvenient, but buses come and go on set schedule every half an hour. 20 francs from hotel to airport? no thanks.

The vastness of property, location being close to bus station, train station and airport. If you like the quiet then this property is for you as the area is peaceful throughout the day with not much disturbance.

There is single reception for Hotel and Lodge. If you are staying in the lodge section of the property and need to access the reception area, it's a long walk. Suggest to please have another reception nearer to the lodge section for easy access.

The location is close to train station which easily takes you to Zurich main station in a short time. There is a SPAR supermarket nearby — in less than 5 min walk. We enjoyed staying in the 2-bedroom (1 double, 1 bunker) accommodation that was tidy, clean and spacious. The friendly staff helped organizing a taxi to the airport and was resourceful with suggestions. Great experience!

The sound from the railway and flying aeroplanes from above can be disturbing for some.

The breakfast was fine, although the hot options were rather limited. The overall experience was good, as usual, it is a convenient location for the business meeting I attended.

The reception is where the hotel is let down, it does not compare well with the sister hotel - the Welcome Inn - where I also sometimes stay and am always 'welcomed back'. It does not take much to keep track of returning guests and I think this would make a difference. Also to be charged for a space in the hotel's own parking garage is unnecessary

As I said perfect place for me to stay again; however, I arrived at 10 pm, in the morning, around 11 am, I received a message from my travel agent to advise me that my flight was delayed, so I asked the hotel if I could stay at least till 2 pm, and they said yes, but it will cost CHF 40.00. I did not aske to stay till 4 pm or 6 pm for nothing, just needed time to adjust??? Most Hotels they say certainly no problems till 2 pm, but we need to charge in case you stay beyond that???
