We were accomodated in a different building nearby Hotel Steinbock but it actually seemed to be newer, the room was quiet, clean and cosy so we didn't mind this change at all! The location is perfect. Right next to the railway station and gondola lift. The staff are also very kind and helpful. They made us feel really welcome. Overall great value for money! I highly recommend this place.

No vegetables for breakfast. Would be great to have some tomatoes, cucumbers or lettuce. Anyway, we were able to eat our fill.

The hotel was extremely clean and the staff was amazing. The location couldn’t be more perfect. It was right across from the train station. It was super quiet. The breakfast was assorted meats, cheeses, breads, fruits, cereal and several drinks. I booked a room with a double bed for one person but asked if I could add another person. They said yes. They did charge another $26 per day, but it was well worth it for the free breakfast. The room had a private bathroom. It was extremely clean and a wonderful view of the glacier. It was a 10 minute walk to the waterfall. Along the walk there are two little places that are set up for you to buy homemade local products. Get about $20 in Swiss francs if you want to buy something. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

We were put in the secondary location almost on top of the COOP across the street. Good location right at the beginning (northern end) of Lauterbrunnens main road. It’s about a 30 second walk to the train station and the “Bergbahn Lauterbrunnen-Murren”. So the location is prefect if you have a travel pass. Breakfast was great and staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms a smaller but clean and get the job done

They have been having a repeated issue where, specifically with this room, it appears in there system as if one person is staying in the room. We had thought we booked for two people so the cost was a little more then we thought. I hope that if its an operations issue it can be resolved. Or if its user error multiple times, just make it more clear how to book for multiple people. This didn’t effect our stay much except for the cost a little. Might try to get a room with a balcony or terrace next time

The rooms were in a separate building, not the same building in the picture . There was no way to contact the reception while staying in the room. The bed was comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was good and tasty. Very good location. There is a supermarket next to the building, and also a bakery.

The shower was with no shelf or something to put the shampoo. The room was close to the main road, so sometimes it was a little bit noisy . There isn't an elevator, so it is difficult to carry the luggage. When i arrived, a nice lady at the reception helped me.

Very cute rustic hotel with a super convenient location right in front of the train station and gondola station. Breakfast was great, although no hot meals (like omelet) but very fresh and satisfying. The staff were very friendly specifically Margaret and the girl with short blond hair who was there during morning hours. She was very kind and offered a late check out due to our circumstances and extended a very friendly welcome each time she saw us. We did not expect much reading some of the reviews, but we got a room with a private balcony and a beautiful Mountain View. Our room got cleaned while we were away. It was very clean and super comfortable with lots of shelves and hangers. The bathroom was a decent size as well, not super tiny like I thought it will be.

Very convenient location, close to the train station, supermarket, gondola, bus station, etc... Quiet, clean, very nice breakfast, friendly staff, the restaurant is a definite plus.. one of the very best places to eat in Lauterbrunnen... I really needed this accommodation at the time I booked and I was extremely grateful ..

The place was nice comparatively to most general facilities in Lauterbunnen, for this price, although generally, one might consider it high, for other locations... Yet Lauterbrunnnen is something else .. The landscape is amazing and if one has to stay in a converted older mountain building, it is not the greatest inconvenience...

This location right across from the train station was perfect for us, as we were dragging luggage packed for a cruise with us. The train for Wengen and the cablecar up the mountain to Murren are just steps away. The hotel has a nice little restaurant that apparently even locals come to for meals. The room was fairly small, but the whole hotel had the feel of an authentic Swiss chalet. The breakfast, though it didn't include hot items, was good and kept us going for the morning. I'm not sure if we could have ordered other things; we just had the buffet.

It was inconvenient dragging luggage upstairs with no elecvator, but the girl who showed us to our room actually helped us carry the suitcases. I wasn't paying for a luxury hotel, so I didn't expect a lot of conveniences. Noise from trains could be a little distracting at night, but it was my choice to stay that close to the station. Outside of that, it was a quiet part of Lauterbrunen.

Room was big enough for couple with small dog. Staff very friendly and restaraunt excellent (bewarw the pizzas are very large. Breakfast was adequate although no hot items available. View from the room was spectacular and room came with a terrace on which we could smoke if desired as ash trays provided. Shower was good with pleanty of hot water. Very convenient with station and cable car within 50 yards (we did not notice the trains as this is a last stop) Parking is free (4 spaces) in front of Hotel.

No lift and 2 flights of steps up to room.

It was a great location with a convenient parking aside the building(+10chf/day). We were at the second facility above coop market, which I believe is more comfortable and was very quite despite the proximity to the gondola and it was also very warm. Staff was very polite and helpful.

I had trouble sleeping and mild headaches because of the pillow but that’s my issue not being able to sleep without an orthopedic and I forgot to bring one..:( Breakfast was good, nice and plenty, but for a longer than 2 day stay might get a bit boring, as they don’t change it much.

The hotel is located next to the Lauterbrunnen train station. There is a bit of a walk to the Staubach waterfall. The staff was very generous. They were kind enough to give us an electric water heater to keep in the room. The breakfast had good options of bread, meat and fruits which were satisfying for us. We had a good view of the surrounding mountains from the room.

The floors and walls are wooden. So you can hear sounds from outside. But it was not a nuisance for us as we were fast asleep.
