Jet Hotel Zurich Airport

The availability of hot and cold drinks at all times in the breakfast lounge. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.

The fact that the airport shuttle bus service to the hotel did not run according to the timetable and the hidden 10 CF cost payable for the return leg.

The hotel is fine for a stopover. The room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and the staff very friendly.

On the map the hotel looks like it is close to the airport. It's not. There is a shuttle bus that runs from the airport to the numerous hotels in the area. The shuttle bus costs 10 euros. If you stay at Jet Hotel Zurich Airport the added fee for shuttle to and from the airport is 20 euros. The hotel mentions a shuttle bus service but does not mention the 10 euro fee. They should.

 Great location near train station near food shops, conveniently code, located for transiting to airport. breakfast was very good was pleasantly surprised.. 

Clean, quiet rooms, able to use the terrace for a picnic and hotel provided glasses for our wine and beer and water. Handy to airport and train. Great that there is a shuttle to them both that the hotel will organize for you. The driver was on a dinner break when we arrived so we took a taxi from the airport.

We knew there was no cafe (except for breakfast) so bought our food and drink at the airport when we arrived there by train but others may not realize this. For 6 of us a large taxi was cheaper than the shuttle but for four it works out the same. Shuttle is a bit expensive.

Business feel hotel near to train station but further from Zurich Central.Good for airport transfers as we did. Serves up breakfast (don't expect big spread) but good enough.Shower is well equipped.Room is essential with a balcony. Bed is pretty comfy.Short walk away has bigger local supermarkets with less crowds as location is probably more off central.

My room has no aircon but comes with a tower fan so had to open balcony door for wind(not too big an issue for my stay but needed to highlight here).sometimes smokers would puff in next doors so can smell from balcony.

Full complements to the Management & Staff especially Mr Rolland. Its people which always make any experience good or bad....and they came out tops... Location is terrific ...100 metres from the Rumlang Train Station with very frequent high speed direct trains to Zurich HB, (journey time about 15 minutes away by a fast train.) Good breakfast.... Earlier on our arrival to Switzerland we had stayed one night at another nearby hotel..which had very small room and tiny bathroom...so we were pleasantly surprised at the reasonable size of the room and bathroom at Jet Hotel. Will definitely stay again at this hotel if we need to stay near Zurich Airport.

It was getting warm by early July when we stayed ..and missed an Air conditioner.

After problem with the room we were given, the staff quickly moved us to another room and immediately solved our problem. The room is spotless, comfortable a great choice for a long layover between flights. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and fully stocked.

We didn't expect this experience for the value we paid for during our stay in Switzerland. The breakfast had many options and a lovely staff member let us know that there was a halal meat option and we found that very sweet. My daughter wished there was cornflakes without nuts as she has a nut allergy, but overall the food was great and we loved the fresh bread and croissant. We took an Uber to travel from the airport to the hotel and back and it only costed us 20 Franc which was a very fare price and highly recommend. The hotel also has a shuttle bus which you need to book in advance. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom had plenty of towels and surprisingly the toilet came with a bidet which we were happy to find. There is also chair to sit on the balcony and enjoy the fresh air.

Hotel is very clean, plus quiet for being next to the airport. A good place to rest after a long flight. The buffet style breakfast is included with great quality hot and cold food and drinks. The staff is very nice and organized. I would stay here again.

Not the hotels fault, but Google shows good one hour walking path from airport terminal to hotel. Starts out wide paved easy but after one is committed there are detours construction gravel and places along highway with no pedestrian provisions. Took over 2 hours, don't do it even if you want to stretch your legs after long flight.

Great overnight stay here on our long layover flying home. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of options. We could walk to into an area that had a few restaurants for dinner, very quiet room for being right next to the airport. Overall and very nice stay and would recommend it.

Not really a dislike but worth mentioning....we took the public bus/transportation from the airport to the train station and then walked the short distance to the hotel. On the hotels website it is mentioned that they support a green approach to transportation and encourage you to take the bus, they would even reimburse you the cost of the ticket if you choose the bus over the hotel shuttle. Hmm not so - we asked at the front desk when we arrived and we were informed that they discontinued that during covid. Time to update the website ; - )
