Excellent views of the lake. It is a pleasure to sit on the balcony and enjoy the scenery (mountains, lake, boats) . The room is big enough. The bed is comfortable. Value for money if you are going to stay for a night or two

The bathroom is old and dark. All the furniture in the room and on the balcony are worn out. The facility needs renovation and better management.

The staff was friendly and professional. They assisted us with our needs without making us feel uncomfortable. The property was clean, comfortable and had the necessary amenities for our one night stay. The lake front rooms have amazing views and we used the balcony to gather together. It has a wonderful roof top eating area or just to take in the views. It was an easy walk down hill to get to a lovely park with benches to further enjoy the view or several restaurants to eat. There is also a full service grocery store located directly across the street to grab food for breakfast or snacks. Everyone in our family ranked this hotel high when evaluating our two tour through Switzerland.

It is a 25 minute drive to downtown Lucerne but I believe there is a ferry to take back and forth. We never used it so cant be certain.

Fantastic location near lake Lucerne, situated in a small but vibrant town, which allows you to soak in the atmosphere of the alps and provide a good jumping off point for future adventures. The room was well stocked, including an English man's favourite, the kettle. The breakfast buffet has a good selection while the hotel itself has a swimming pool and sauna (extra cost). Their restaurant, while a little bit pricey and having a limited selection, was tasty as well. Never known such a hands-off hotel, if I didn't venture into the restaurant, I doubt I would have seen any staff at all. Parking seemed like a non-issue currently, maybe in summer it would be harder to get spaces, but then maybe they would allow access to the underground parking.

The curtains were too small for the window, and a few loose hairs on the pillow far too long to be my own.

Nice clean and modern room with good facilities. outstanding views to the lake and mountains from own private balcony (view and balcony are more expensive though, also other rooms facing the town side and without balcony). pet friendly and private parking (option to stay in or out).

no remarks really. we had two rooms and we were first booked on different floors, but staff was able to book us to rooms next to each other when we asked for it. reception is open only on limited times, but then you will always have the staff from restaurant so definitely not an issue.

Wow..... what a spectacular location. We were blown away!!! The room was great, bed was comfy, ensuite shower... plenty big enough. All was clean. Restaurant was yum and the waite stuff were terrific.

Coming from Australia, the cooling was a miss. But I do understand, taking into account that predominantly this a cooler climate destination. Bit warm, but that didn't spoil our experience.... loved it

View- amazing; room- modern, well designed and very nice, location- great; transport- ferry -10min walk, bus stop - at the hotel; attractions- a lot around!!! Highly recommended!!!! Great and various type of bread for breakfast!

Breakfast- eggs for self service! Don’t work! A lot of waste with not done eggs!! Balcony chairs very not comfortable!!! No glass for soft drink like water or juice.

This hotel ia lovely and cosy. For whom is in weggis a must to stay in the hotel. The team is very accomodating. My suggestion a room with a mountain view would definately help with your stay be more relaxed. The hotel has a nice comfy restaurant with mountain views. You can see and view the mountains will grabbing a breakfast or dinner. We all enjoyed and honestly if i had to return back indeed this is the place i would return too.

These were very nice rooms with gorgeous views of the lake. We used public transportation for our entire trip, choosing to arrive in Weggis by boat from Luzern. It was an invigorating walk to the hotel as we hadn't yet negotiated the bus system. One can also arrive in Weggis by train to Kussnacht and then bus. The bus stop is 50 feet from the hotel (and we could have taken a bus from the ferry stop). I had a double room for one person, my sisters a slightly larger room for 2. Both rooms were nice sized, their room had a coffee pot and sink area for food prep. The beds were a bit soft for my taste, but I had no trouble sleeping in them, especially after all our hikes! The balcony was wonderful, giving beautiful views of this gorgeous area. Weggis is a good point for nice lakeside strolls, a bit of shopping, and trips to Rigi, Luzern, and mountains across the lake. We took the boat to Breckenried and then the bus to the Stanserhorn, one of my favorite mountains. Currently Rigi and Stanserhorn access is included in the Swiss Travel Pass and both have great views. Rigi has some wonderful hikes appropriate for every level; there were several I would have loved to do, but didn't have time for all. The gondola to Rigi is in Weggis, the Rigibahn (train) is a boat or bus ride away in Vitznau. There is a Coop and a Migros across the street from the hotel for picnicking supplies to enjoy while on the mountains. The bus stop for the hotel is Weggis, Neubuel (#502 or 528 bus). Not really a bad thing, just unexpected that Booking.com had already charged our rooms to my card upon our arrival. All was in order, this was just unexpected as I hadn't noted that this would occur.

I love this hotel, everywhere you look there are beautiful little details that make you smile. The view from the room is outstanding. The place ia gorgeous. Breakfast was good. Friendly staff.

Wide and clean room, the view from the balcony is amazing, unique decorations, coffee machine and a boiler is available in the room. The weather when we arrived was very hot in the city and they provided an electric fan it really helped that day but the next days the weather got much better. A restaurant available in the hotel also but I didn’t try it. As an overall we’ve enjoyed our stay
