Location was great, super close to the main strip but far enough from the church to not suffer the incessant noise of the bells that ring for 15 mins at a time. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. One morning another guest took our ski boots for reasons only known to them but the hotel manager arranged for rental replacements immediately and even drove us down to get them so that we didn’t lose more time skiing. The whole team were attentive and helpful.

It was a little far from all of the ski lifts if you’re walking in ski boots so I’d recommend going down in shoes and putting your boots on when u get there and chucking ur shoes in a rucksack to ski with. The breakfast was a tad limited too but did the job.

The breakfast was okay, not fantastic. Christina at the front desk was excellent! She gave me 2 maps of Zermatt and marked out the Gornergratbahn station and the Gondola station of the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. She was the best of all the staff at this hotel.

I asked for a memory foam pillow, and was one that was too hard. When I tried to exchange it, the front desk staff(cannot remember his name) told me that's all they had. But when my friends went to request for the same type of pillows, they were given brand new ones, which was exactly what I had wanted!

It is very rare that I would rate a hotel as perfect but Hotel Aristella deserves that rating. The staff are warm, friendly and ever so helpful. The rooms are perfectly clean and simple and supplied with everything one needs for a very comfortable stay. I particularly like the extras that make staying here, very special. For instance they have a menu of different types of pillows to choose from. And small drying racks in the bathroom for personal hand laundry. The complementary breakfast and coffee service is very tasty and good value. I would highly recommend anyone coming to Zermatt to stay at this lovely hotel.

The hotel had a great location central to most things. They had a nice ski locker with a large boot drying rack. The breakfast was fantastic. It had a lot of different offerings every morning including made to order omelets and pancakes as well as an automatic coffee machine that made everything from espresso to cappuccinos. They had an excellent relaxation room that had a sauna, steam room, individual whirlpool tubs and a lounge room with complimentary tea.

The only thing I didn't like was that they didn't have a large hot tub. They have an excellent outdoor deck that would be perfect for it.

This family run hotel is in a very good location for the centre, station and train/lifts for access to the mountains. It is beautifully appointed and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. It has its own restaurant which is very high quality. The breakfasts are also excellent in quality and choice. We had a top floor room with balcony overlooking the Matterhorn.

We can't think of anything we did not like about this hotel.

The heat was a bit hard too control, very warm room. But otherwise excellent. ONLY one bad comment, when we called from the train station the women on the desk that evening said they no longer had an electric car to provide transport to the hotel. Well, the car was right there the next morning and we were able to get transport back at the end of our stay. The first desk lady was thankfully not on when we left.

The beds and pillows were lovely and soft and comfortable. The view was perfect and the balcony added outdoor space. The seating area in the room was very comfortable after being out all day walking.

It was a very hot spell when we were there (which I dont think happens too often) and the room was too warm which made the duvet too hot to use and there was no other sheet or blanket to use for cover. That is the only minus I can say about this lovely hotel.

We had such a lovely stay at Aristella. Even before our arrival Sandra was so helpful with the questions we had regarding arranging transportation from the train station to the hotel. Their communication was on point! Highly recommend booking the panoramic room as the views of the Matterhorn were breathtaking. The amenities of Jacuzzi and sauna were relaxing and the afternoon tea everyday was such a treat. Beds are super comfortable and breakfast was delicious. One of our favorite breakfasts of all the hotels we stayed at on our trip. A good variety of options and inclusive for vegans and vegetarians. Tucked away in a quiet and quaint location.

The staff are fantastic here, we were not sure how to arrive here as Zermatt is a car free town. I messaged on booking and received a reply within minutes informing me that we Park in the nearby town of Tasch at the train station and catch the train up, All very easy. When we were on the train I messaged and they had organised us a shuttle to get picked up with 15 minutes notice, fantastic. The hotel has a great spa and sauna and steam room, the rooms super comfy and its in a great location to walk everywhere. The breakfast is also fantastic! Best we have had in months of travel. Thankyou everyone keep up the good work

Just a small think, I suggest to make a happy hour at the hotel bar for cheap drinks for guests

The room was spacious, balcony also large with the most amazing view of the Matterhorn! Bathroom was massive, very clean and modern. Reception staff were lovely, even coming to change my pillow at 11pm. Very quiet hotel. Great location, 8mins walk from the train station. Breakfast was lovely! I am vegan, the servers had made a note of it, they had vegan bread for me... Unfortunately I filled up on all their amazing granola, fruit and smoothies I didn't have room for the bread too. They also have some Alpro products.

The initial response when booking almost had me canceling the room... Me: If you have any vegan options for breakfast we will greatly appreciate it. Response: We are not geared towards people who eat vegan. For vegetarians we have a few options. 4th message in mentioned they do have fruit, oat milk, soya yoghurts!!! amazing!!!
