Comfy clean room, big bathroom. I stayed in the 2 bedroom top floor suite. A big long balcony that has a view of Matterhorn.

Receptionists aren't very cheerful. They don't usually there when we go out or back, and greeting was minimal. There was no lift but no help offered for my parents' (they are 75 yrs old) suitcases to the top floor. On the last day, we were told to wait for our check out because she was busy serving breakfast. We waited for 5 to 10 mins to check out. We were rushing for our train.

the hotel is very well located- it’s 5-10 min by walk to go to sunnegga cable car from the hotel- same to go to the main Street, the hotel is worth the money, breakfast was excellent (many options) and staff was super friendly. It felt like being at home with the family. It was our birthdays me and my husband and the staff offered us a birthday cake. it was delicious. Special thanks to Sarah-Maria who took good care of us during the whole stay. It was so kind of her to offer us a birthday cake :)

We had a ten minute walk from the train station to the hotel. Walking through the village of Zermatt was lovely. It’s a very quaint ski town. There was a bit of a steep climb towards the hotel but nothing we couldn’t handle. The hotel owner is a very sweet, charming and helpful young woman. The top floor two bedroom suite was spacious and very comfortable with balconies overlooking a lovely view. Breakfast was very tasty with a variety of choices. Delicious coffee! We were very pleased with everything in this accommodation and would definitely come again!

No spa - but you can ask the front desk for a referral and they’ll provide a voucher for an amazing spa for a half of original price - it was amazing !

the location is very handy, close to the main central city, it is walkable. The views are perfect from our room and the facility is perfect. We love our breakfast, lots of choices and everything are fresh [ breads, juices, fruits]. Staffs very friendly and helpful. Lovely place to stay

The hotel exceeded all my expectations. On arrival we even received a complimentary room upgrade. The room was great, the bed was comfortable and the views of the Matterhorn were AMAZING. The breakfast buffet was also a winner. I could not recommend this place enough.

I cannot think of a single thing that I would change or did not like.

We booked a room for three at the last minute and were delighted. Everything was perfect. The hospitality was wonderfuland for the price we paid, we got the greatest value. As I have been visiting Zermatt regularly since 1962... and stayed in most Zermatt hotels, this was definitely a splendid discovery. We will clearly go back in a few months.

Although the location is a bit off from the train station, it is still an enjoyable walk despite the luggage. The chalet does provide transport (small fee) to bring you over. The room is big as i have the 2 bedder. Reason for booking is the magnificent view from my balcony overlooking Matterhorn. The bathtub is big as well. The price is very reasonable and breakfast is good. Staff is extremely good. Of course one can get better facilities with other locations (Dufour doesn't have spa etc) but it is all good because of its price. I will not hesitate to stay here again.

The 2 bedder is on the 4th floor and it may be difficult to carry the luggage up all the way if one is elderly or if the luggage is too heavy. It is a pity they do not have direct spa access but then there are sister hotels you can go to for a fee.

It was a great hotel giving us a wonderful Swiss experience. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We had a large room with a view of the Matterhorn. It is also a good location from train station, Gornergrat train and glacier paradise gondola rides for sightseeing and skiing. Breakfasts were excellent.
