My recent solo stay at Hotel Hirschen in Zürich was nothing short of delightful. The warm and friendly reception instantly made me feel welcome, and the check-in process was swift and efficient. The single bedroom I stayed in was a cozy oasis of comfort. Despite being a solo traveler, the room was spacious enough to provide ample relaxation space. The in-room facilities, including a kettle for coffee & tea, and other small personal care items like body lotion, conditioner, shower cap.The room was spotless and hygienic. I also had the breakfast included in my stay, I thought there were enough options, and the breakfast was good. The hotel's location was also a major highlight. Situated in the city centre, it was within easy reach of Zürich's key attractions, with convenient public transportation options nearby. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any queries or recommendations.

Location was right in the heart of the hustle and bustle. Extremely close and easy to reach the Central train station. Staff were amazing, quick and easy check in, always greeting with a smile. Breakfast staff went out of his way to cater to my requests. Hotel was very clean overall and they cleaned my room and made the bed while I was out.

You have to leave your room key at reception every time you leave the property and when asking for it upon return they don’t check ID or anything if if the staff have changed, you just say true room number and they hand you the keys. It makes me wonder if someone else asked for my room key and they might have given it. The breakfast range was very small and since I don’t eat meat either there was not much of an option for me.

The hotel rooms are a bit basic for the money and the hotel lacks a communal lounge area to relax with friends and enjoy a drink when back at the hotel though this would just be a nice additional option to have, it would not prevent us from returning to the hotel as it is really centrally located and has everything on its doorstep During our stay the room service was a bit hit and miss. Tea/Coffee was not always replenished in the room for a couple of days and dirty cups were not always removed, though we put this down to an oversight and did not raise this issue with the staff during our stay. Had we done so, I have no doubt that staff would have sorted immediately as they were friendly and very obliging during our stay.

Friendly staff at the front desk, great location

My husband and I each took a shower. We received a call from the front desk saying the guest next door to us was complaining that our water was on for too long and they timed us at 15mins. Really ridiculous. We rented the room, we shouldn’t be harassed for taking a shower after a long day. The staff was nice about it, but it felt silly to receive a call like that. The bathroom is very small and difficult to move around in.

love this property. The staff is amazing and helpful. I love little Hector running around he’s such a cutie. The breakfast value is worth it. I looked forward to breakfast every morning. Overall amazing stay I will be coming back.

The location of the hotel is excellent! The room has all comforts needed, and the breakfast offered a nice range of options. The staff were lovely and helpful! Great place!

the room was sometimes a little stuffy, and the shower's water temperature would fluctuate of it's own accord, overall though no negative feelings towards the room or our stay

Visually very clean but lack of toilet lid made the toilette and the room very unhygienic. It’s a scientifically proved fact that flushing with the lid up releases a big cloud of vapour particles that carry bacteria and other pathogens. There should be a warning for people who find it particularly concerning for health reasons due to lowered immunity.

The location is Excellent - walking distance from all of the major attractions, the city centre, Hauptbahnhof Strasse, Central Railway Station. The Staff was really friendly, they were helping me a lot to make use my time in Switzerland well. The breakfast was tasty, in a lovely room overlooking the square.

The single room was a bit small, If You like having some more space get a double or bigger room at this property. this is under stable since this building looks like a historical one (obviously refurbished).

The reception staff was very kind and the hotel had superb location. I appreciated the history of the building and the hotel and it made the stay the more interesting. The room was warm with good heating and the mattress was comfortable. The room was small but had everything you need - closet, table with two chairs, and a electric kettle.

The bathroom sink was small, and the location being in the center area where all the restaurants and bars are located, it was somewhat noisy saturday night. Not the hotel's fault though :)

The hotel is close to all the sites and walking distance from main train station. I got to the hotel early so they checked to see if my room was ready (and it was) so they let me have the room earlier than usual so I didn't have wait around.
