Staff were welcoming, caring and so helpful, even called me at 2am on my arrival in Istanbul to ensure that I found the hotel transportation at the airport and was en route to hotel. I really felt like I was in safe hands. My room was spotlessly clean which enhanced the coziness. This is one feature of hotels that usually gives me anxiety, whether or not it will be clean, but this hotel was at the cleanliness standard that I desire. Size was smaller than usual, but that's the average in Suntanahmet area. Iron not in the room but available when requested. Location was perfect 👌🏽 I walked everywhere and saw everything twice. Close to most of the major attractions, metro stop is a few steps away, grocery/parking garage across the street, food is everywhere (hotel doesnt serve breakfast but I didn't miss it because as soon as I stepped outside there's food). Istanbul is beautiful and addictive, I'll definitely go back, and Endican will always be my choice to stay. Do not hesitate to book with them.

There were two small things to note: the hotel doesn't provide shower cap, so walk with one if you need...and the room safe didn't work. Not a negative for me, but just to highlight that the double room was two single beds pushed together (with that indent in the middle) and the blanket was also two single pieces, each covering one side of the bed. Ok for solo traveller but might be lacking for couples/family.

The hotel staff were very accommodating and were always on hand to give good recommendations, help and advice. The front of house staff, particularly the manager was very attentive, useful and kind. The property was 2mins walk from the tram and outside multiple restaurants and the market. Making out trips nice and convenient to get to places.

We were a family of 3… they gave us a smaller room for the two sharing and the bigger bedroom to the single person in the group (not sharing the room) which didn’t make sense. Since we both paid extra.. the same price for a bigger room - so this is the only criticism.

Nice looking hotel with a modern design, located in the middle of Sultanahmet. Many restaurants and historic sights to find in short walking distance. Receptionists were very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and beds comfortable.

Our room was at the back of the building and catched a lot of sun. We asked to use the Airco as it was 27c in the room, but as it was early April the airco was set to heating only. We slept with the window open with the noise of some machine right outside. This was a bit inconvenient.

The location was great - near the tram ride. You can choose to walk to the places if attraction or take the tram and alight one stop away. The tram is an walk down the hotel. Nearby supermarket which sells things at affordable prices. There are many places to eat nearby too. Rooms are accessible via lift.

The hilly slope, which can’t be helped, maybe a bit challenging to the older folks. So just take it slow. There is no breakfast at restaurant but they can serve quick hot drinks if you need. Lift is a bit small so if you travel with family or have large luggages may need to take multiple trips.

We stayed for 14 days in endican sultanahmet hotel and had a very pleasant time in the hotel. The staff was very respectful, kind, friendly and helpful . They would help and understand us in any situation. The room was very clean and it looked newly furnished. The area was exceptional. We could find very good restaurants and shopping streets like grand bazzar and spice bazzar very close by. Hagia sofia mosque and blue mosque were very near and in walking distance. I have had a very great experience in endican sultanahmet hotel. Special thanks to Emrah, Ferhat and Şerafettin for making our stay so enjoyable and pleasant. If we come to Istanbul again, we will definitely stay there.

Everything was EXCEPTIONAL

I booked a room with a double bed and then decided to bring a friend so I requested a room with two single beds. I was told that the change could not be guaranteed but I was pleasantly surprised that I received a room with two single beds when I arrived. The room was very clean. The hotel staff are really helpful with things like printing off your Boarding pass for you and offering to book tours. The location of the hotel could not be better. It is within walking distance of many of the main sights. We went in winter and the room is very warm. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast but there are some decent restaurants nearby. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room. We were given free bottles of water every day.

Our room was a bit on the small side but it was otherwise fine.

The location is in walking distance of many many touristy places. The room was small but very clean, great airco, no noises at night. The staff was very friendly to the point we had nice conversations about culture, Istanbul, etc. We had some challenges when using the safe and also on that they helped very friendly.

The location is also situated near tourist trap restaurants. Check tripadvisor for some nearby gems. The hotel did not offer breakfast but the surrouding area offers alternatives. We often shopped at the supermarket across the street and then ate at the hotel lobby.

Several local restaurants nearby. 12. Hotel provides in house slippers. 13. Has complimentary coffee and tea in the room. 14. Near to money changer with acceptable rates. 15. Comfortable bed and pillows. 16. Can arrange for airport transfer. 17. Sells tourist sim cards. Add notes: 1. Staff named Seraffetin was helpful. He gave us good advice on where to go and change our money with better rates. He even lent us the scale to weigh our luggage. 2. Since we checked out early, he voluntarily called the manager to ask whether refund was possible. Thank you Serafettin. 3. The two housekeeping ladies were helpful too and always attentive to our needs. 4. Was told that the hotel was newly refurbished about 6 months ago. But, limited only 23 rooms. They have 2 economy rooms in the basement (without view). 5. Most of the staffs are friendly, speak basic English and fairly motivated. 6. If you don't fancy about style, luxury and has midsize budget, this is the place for you. But if you're a thrifty traveller, better to stay on the Asian side of Istanbul which is relatively much cheaper and less touristic.

Cons: 1. Located in touristic area. Price of food and souvenirs are 30-40% more expensive. 2. Small elevator. Can fit max 4 pax. 3. No concierge service offered. We had to carry our huge luggage. 4. No facilities for the special needs. 5. Rooms a bit small. Especially the standard rooms. 6. No breakfast provided. 7. Albiet near to tourist hotspots (approx 500 to 700 meters), walking can be tiring. Especially for elders and children. Uphill walk (approx 10% slope) back to the hotel. 8. No toothpaste provided in the rooms. 9. Thin blanket. 10. No special view. Just view of surrounding buildings.

Placed near a lot of attractions and near public transportation, the staff is very helpful, very good value for money. The hotel offers possibilities of hotel transportation, bit pricey but it's reliable and very comfortable

We had a room at the lobby level which had a very tight kind of balcony that was completely covered, so we didn't have much natural light, no possibility of breakfast but at least you can try different places. Not a lot of amenities in the hotel but it's ok if you only wanna rest. Being at lobby level, there was sometimes noise from the lobby

Excellent meet and greet then straight to our room which was on the 5th via lift to our room with partial sea view. The room was a good size with a double bed then a suite area with a sofa and a huge TV with streaming facilities for Netflix and Amazon prime to name a few. There are coffees facilities also. The bathroom is fitted out very well with a powerful rainforest shower and quality towels. The hotel is positioned perfectly for all the sight and great places to eat. The grande bazaar is 3 minutes walk and so is the blue mosque and many many more. Surprisingly very quiet also at night
