the staff was courteous. Special mention to Ibrahim for making our stay pleasant and arranging local travels. Ercan and Sercan were wonderful and always helpful. The roof top sit out has a wonderful view of the Bosporus.

Aprilis hotel was one of the best experiences 10/10! They made us feel like home and everyone was so friendly especially Ibrahim, Hikmet,the girls at breakfast Ercan and Özellr. They treated us as if we were friends for years and made a stressful trip for work so easy if we had any questions and needed directions. 100% recommended for any type of vacation as everything is close and whatever is not you can cats the train an get to your destination in no time. The stop is just 1’ on foot from the hotel and grand bazar 3’. Thank you for everything.

The location is the very best thing. Can easily walk to Blue Mosque, the hop on hop off bus, Hagia Sofia the main square and Cistern Basilica and more. I felt totally comfortable. I didn’t use public transport or a taxi once. It’s down a small street, but really safe and lots of shops and restaurants on the street too. The staff moved me from an economy room to a room at the front for free. I also needed a data SIM card and they took me next door to a shop to get one. I was a bit concerned about being ripped off. But I never saw a better deal. I was not ripped off: I was introduced to a bargain! On my first night one of the staff walked with me to a restaurant he recommended about 3 mins from the hotel it was up some stairs off the main street , he said he’d show me the way. I was a bit anxious TBH. It was probably the cheapest meal I had the entire time I was there; very local and good food and also popular with several American couples who seem to have found it recommended on some random site. This isn’t the luxury of the Grand Hyatt! Its a clean hotel with helpful staff to use as a base for sightseeing.

I never once found the roof top bar open. But you can go up there anytime. It’s pretty and the view is lovely.

This hotel was great. We were offered a choice of two rooms to pick from. Its location was central. The tram station was Cemberlitas just up the road, and it takes you in all directions. Great little supermarket next door and plenty of eateries to choose from. The Grand Bizzare was a short walk away, and the mosques and a whole lot of shopping in the back streets. 😳 The staff were friendly, on point, and the room was made up every day. We were only staying for 7 days but extended for an extra 2 days and the guys at reception organised all very quickly and we stayed in the same room. Breakfast was amazing. The girls were friendly and efficient. 🤗 Def value for money and would recommend staying here. Thank you, everyone, at Hotel Aprilis. You made our stay memorable. We love Istanbul. 💞

Very minor, and that would be that the shower had a small leak underneath, and the TV took a while to warm up. You only got half the screen. We did inform reception, and I guess they would look into this once we had left. 😉

The hotel is situated in excellent location, all attractions are 15 minutes walk, there is no need to use public transport. The hotel is very nice and clean, the rooms are small but meet everything you need, the beds are comfortable. Special thanks to the staff who were so nice and always ready to help, especially Ibrahim - thank you for your care. With the exception of breakfast we were satisfied with everything and will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and will be happy to come back again

We were not satisfied with the breakfast, there was a poor selection at a 4 stars hotel, the same every day and a very poor selection of pastries/bread and vegetables.

My family of four stayed at Aprilis during Christmas of 2023 for 11 days. The location was prime for our visit. The hotel was conveniently located in the Sultan Ahmet district. The airport taxi services were affordable and convenient. It is very safe, even at night. Walking distance from/to the Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque/Hagia Sophia/Topkapi Palace Plaza. Public transport, 100+ restaurants, and grocery stores are accessible as well. The hotel was quiet at night and we slept really good after a long day. The breakfast was provided. We could also can have free tea, and hot chocolate anytime of the day. The facilities were well kept and very clean. Lastly, the staff were very amicable, caring, and accommodating. The 24/7 front desk staff, Hikmar, Ercan, and Otur, and the breakfast staff were always present with a smile to attend to our needs. The custodial services staff were always at hand to assist daily.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Aprillis during my trip to Turkey, and I must say that my experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived until the day of departure, the hotel's excellent service and the dedication of its staff made my stay truly memorable, they were not only professional but also warm, welcoming, and genuinely invested in ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, everyone displayed a remarkable level of hospitality and attentiveness, always with a friendly smile and a willingness to assist. Thank you Ibrahim, Elif, Merve, Sercan , Ercan , Berdan , Enus and the rest of the staff that assisted us.

The location was perfect. Very close to blue mosque, aya sofia and grand bazaar, and mainly the tramline so I could easily get to taksim square. The hotel staff were very pleasant, especially Ibrahim, who went above and beyond to get me a room with a stunning view as I was automatically originally placed into a room with no window. The terrace view was exceptionally breath-taking especially at sunset, I spent many hours up there just for the view. Also, the staff were so sweet to wish my sister on her birthday with a cake slice and candles as room service, so a special thank you to management and reception staff for organising that, it was very nice of you. Breakfast was ok, but could have been more of a variety. I would definitely book this hotel again.

Everything was good.

Location is fantastic. Walking distance to some of the great historical sights of Istanbul, and plenty of tasty restaurants and shops nearby, as well as access to trams. Room was compact but had everything we needed and was very clean and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Also great shower!. The staff at reception were fantastic. Always happy to help and give advice where needed - really felt they went the extra mile.

Breakfast wasn’t amazing. While we appreciated the range of Turkish food on offer, there was nothing to tell us what the foods were. Only cows milk was available for cereal, and it wasn’t kept cool. Breakfast staff had limited English so it was difficult to determine what some of the foodstuffs were. Also water didn’t seem to be replenished during the morning. While our room was mostly quiet, when people moved into the room next door we could hear their conversations etc.

Excellent choice if you search for a budget friendly place to sleep in the city center while discovering the city. A few steps from the historic sites and a tram station to any place in Istanbul. Supermarkets, turkish shops and cafes just around the corner. We felt very welcomed, Ibrahim from the reception always offered us a cup of tea/coffee/water while going back to room after the whole day. He even sent us a plate with freshly cut fruit to the room in the evening as a surprise :) We really enjoyed those little details that made us feel special and welcomed. Overall, very friendly, calm and clean place with nice smell.
