If you want to feel great, choose Grand Naki Hotel .It is in the center of the old town and you can see everything you want by walk and discover the charm of Istanbul.We choose a room with a balcony in the shade of a plane tree with all-day shade. Invaluable for drinking morning coffee, which is available from early morning until late at night, or beer in the afternoon.Wi-Fi signal is excellent. There is a refrigerator in the room, which is great for cooling the aforementioned beer and some baklava.So many lovely people in one place is hard to imagine. Big greetings to Jabir, maybe I didn't write his name correctly, but he will recognize himself..., and all others including the owner. It was such a good feeling to spend 7 days there.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The location was amazing. Central to all the tourist sites we wanted to see - The Grand Bazaar, The Blue Mosque, Haya Sofia and the Topeki Palace. There was a tram close by, so we could easily travel to the port where the ferries left for tourist destinations. There were plenty of cafes, restaurants, and snack places to choose from. Also there was a wide range of shops nearby. The staff were fantastic. Any request we made was easily dealt with promptly. All the staff were very helpful and cheerful. The room was very cosy (i.e. a bit small, but this was in the centre of Istanbul!), but comfortable and secure. The breakfast was an added bonus. We enjoyed fresh fruit and there were a variety of hot foods available. The hotel organised a transfer to and from the airport and we found this to be very convenient. I would recommend the Grand Naki to anyone looking for accommodation in Istanbul!

The size of the bed linen could have been bigger! The blanket barely covered us and we had to ask repeatedly for a top sheet.

In an excellent position for visiting old Istanbul. Close to the tram, and ferry/cruises. Most sights within walking distance. A range of tourist literature was available. Exceptional staff- helpful and friendly. Always someone around (for example if you wanted a drink of tea, they made it for you in the breakfast room) Cartons of water were available on request. Simple, but extremely comfortable room. Spotlessly clean. Substantial breakfast available.

In the room, no channels could be found on the TV, though the staff did try to sort this out. In practice, it was not a problem . Also, the fridge wasn't working properly. At times, there were no available tables at breakfast- there was one table for 2, the rest were tables for 4, often with only 2 people sitting there. However, we rarely waited long.

Grand Naki is located in a really central spot of Istanbul, 10 minutes walking distance from the Blue Mosque and Haghia Sophia as well as 5 minutes away from the Grand Bazaar. Big breakfast area with a wide variety of items and rooms are clean (daily housekeeping) and really well preserved. The staff is also really nice, friendly and always available to assist you in whatever you may need. This is our second time staying here and we would definitely visit again in the future. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Everything was perfect, wouldn’t change a thing

The best about the hotel is Orhan, who works at reception! he is very attentive and offered a change of room immediately after some problems we had in our original room in the first day (the shower won’t drain, the safety box was not working, and the noise from the street and upstairs was unbearable) All the staff were attentive, but him was definitely the best. He was also making sure everything was fine and asking if something was needed. The hotel is very well located, 10’ walking from Hagia Sophia and 10’ from Grand Bazaar, and there are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. it also has elevator, which is a big plus.

The hotel is not very clean, actually we found bed bugs and they were walking in our beds and clothes almost every day :( - we told this to a guy from the hotel and he said this was strange. The breakfast is quite basic, and during the stay (8 nights) our bed linen was not changed, only towels. I think the hotel needs an upgrade, but it is ok to stay for a short period.

The hotel has a central location, 5 min from Sultanahmet. The breakfast was superb. We mostly enjoyed staing in front of the hotel and drinking coffee, while we were watching the busy atmosphere. Also the receptionist was very very nice guy. We loved talking with him, he was extra kind! Room was small, but enough. We were there to explore the city, not to stay in the room. The bed was very confortable.

As we were on the ground floor and the french windows were facing the street, it was noisy for us. We asked to be moved to another room, possibly facing the backyard , not the street, but all rooms were busy.

Located quite centrally but not on a busy touristic street. Short walking distance to a tram line and to the most of the touristic attractions. There is a very good and inexpensive turkish cousin restaurant just behind a corner. The personnel is very friendly and the facilities are relatively clean.

The hotel is older as looks in the pictures. Rooms are relatively small. It will be very likely loud early morning on the streets because of cars honking on narrow streets. The breakfast is OK if you like French fries and chips to breakfast. Otherwise it felt quite poor and hard to find what to eat on a second or following days.

The location of the hotel is very great: all the sightseeing places are near, about 10 mins walking. Tramway is 5 min away from the hotel. The staff of the hotel is very friendly and always there for you to help. Especially, Jaabir (reception) helped us a lot and even upgraded our room for free. because our first room was very small with a kid, and we couldn’t move at all:)) later, we got a big and nice room. Our room was tidy and clean. Breakfast was fine, not a big choice of food, but you can get enough and full :)) We’ll definitely come back again!

There are some small places for repair in the rooms: in the shower, for example.

what an amazing stay in this hotel!!!! i highly recomend .since arriving everything was good, the guy in the reception with a nice smile helped me with my suit cases, gave me a hot tea and some sweets as i arrived late time , the check in was quick, he even offred for me a better room than the one that i booked with a nicer view and a balcony .everything was so clean!!!!! . as it was my first stay in istanbul , the guys in the reception advised me about places to visit , how to get there easily, even i booked nice trips from there .the hotel has a very good location , close to the old city ( grand bazar topkapi....) , you can do all that only by walking no need for tram or metro . i had all kind of accomodations near by .since it is ramadan , the hotel provided shaur late time in the evening respecting all the measures to prevent covid. masks ,hydroalcholic gel were provided in the reception plus the room is cleaned everyday so really no fear from the C-19 ; before heading back to my country, the hotel provided a doctor for my pcr inside my room plus i used their transportation service and it was so good. i really recomand , mynext stay will be in this hotel . highly recomemded.

The staff at reception were very helpful and friendly. They helped with all kind of relevant and non-relevant questions and requests immediately. The cleaning staff did their job very well; our room was very clean. No dust even on difficult-to-clean parts of the room. The location was another super plus. In spite of its central location, the room was very quiet and peaceful! And it was totally worth of the money we paid :)

Maybe it was because of the Covid-19 restrictions, but breakfast could be much better!
