We chose this hotel for location and based on reviews. It was our fist trip to Turkey. We were greeted very cordially by Necati. He was very helpful in accommodating our immediate needs as we were just off and very early morning flight. He arranged early admission to our room and breakfast. We felt at home. The staff in the reception area, the breakfast room and the 360 Degree restaurant could not have been more helpful. The food was excellent. Thank you.

The location is great and staff are amazing. They are very welcoming and professional. From the reception to the restaurant, and the cleaning staff. Thank you all for making our stay amazing. The view from the front room is magnificent. You see the Hagia Sophia Mosque directly. Walking distance from tramway. They give you free bottle of water everyday. Price is very reasonable given the location. Tv channels are very limited, but they have YouTube which is a very good option and Netflix. There is a very short walking distance from the hotel to the road where cars can pick you up or drop you off. The view from the rooftop is amazing and restaurant food is delicious.

I didn’t like the fact that they no longer serve breakfast at the roof restaurant. The breakfast is now served at the ground level. Breakfast is average and could improve to include menemen and turkish bread like Poğaça , simit, also kaymak. One downside is the smoking smell in rooms. No shower cap. Bring your own. Bed sheets are clean but worn! Time to change them :). Carpet is not clean. It has stains. I would say the hotel needs some replenishment while keeping it is historic atmosphere.

Top qualities why to book: 1. The staff are extremely friendly, and helpful 2. The location is amazing!! Literally in the middle of so many historical sites that Istanbul is known for. You can walk just about anywhere. The tram is nearby if you want to go out further but I didn’t use it bc I just walked everywhere. 3. The cleanliness was big for me and it really was wonderful. Their beds are comfortable as well.

It’s quite an older building so the noise from the above floors are pretty constant. It was a bit difficult with sleeping bc I’m a light sleeper. The staff moved me into another room after the first night, and it was better. But if you’re a light sleeper and you can’t wear earplugs, you might want to keep that in mind. Breakfast is average. The restaurant has good food but is overpriced. But that shouldn’t deter from booking bc there are tons of really amazing restaurants within 10 minutes walk of the hotel and fairly priced.

Amazing location! Hagia Sophia, Blue mosque, Basilica Cistern and Topikapi Palace are very near. There is a restaurant on the roof with amazing views.

I was in the fifth floor and the restaurant is just above and throughout the day I could hear chairs dragging.

The most valuable things during our stay, whose make our stay unforgetable were : the staff, their kindness and support at all the time caring about us to make our stay unforgetable. Specially we have to mention : Mr. Gökhan, the receptionists, the bellboys and the staff in the Restaurant. Also the location. The AND Hotel is located in the heart of Sultanahmet ( Fatih ) ISTAMBUL. Which makes the stay perfect to go walking to the best spots in the city : Hagia Sofia Mosque and Blue Mosque, Basilic Cisterns, Bosphorus, Topkapi Palace, acces to Taksim, Grand Bazaar......and most of our favourite spots in the city and Hammams. I may say breakfast is also excellent and tasteful. And of course the awesome views from the Panorama Restaurant. Also for breakfast. The wiews from our Room on the fifht floor were also LOVELY. Unforgetable !!!

Visiting Istambul for tourism and holidays, the advantages the AND hotel offers are higher and more important than small disadvantages, whose may be subjective. We are in love with the Hotel : the staff and its location.

The location is just perfect! It's just in front of Aya Sofia, there are many shops, cafes, Change, etc. near the hotel, we were upgraded to the room with the view and if was so perfect! Both Aya Sofia and the Blue Mosque are seen from the room and the dining balcony. All of the main sites are very close by foot, and when we wanted to visit Galata we just took the T1 tramvay that is very close to the hotel. Very nice hotel, I was traveling with my friend and we both were very satisfied with our choice.The location, the view from the room window, the view from the breakfast area, also the option of 2 separate beds was really great for us.

The only catch of being so close to the mosques is the sound of muezzin at 4 AM. The room is a little bit small, the breakfast is very simple

Fantastic location, amazing view from the room. Staff was very nice and helpful. We arrived several hours before the normal check in time, but they still were able to get us into the room very quickly. Breakfast was good and started early enough that we were able to eat before tours. Tap water not safe to drink, but the hotel provided bottle water daily.

Bathroom was showing definite signs of age. Despite turning the AC way down, the room never got cool (guessing only heat was on in the building, we were there in November), so we had to sleep with the windows open to be comfortable, but then struggled to sleep with the wind noise.

I had a fantastic experience staying at AND Hotel in Istanbul. The atmosphere was very good and cozy, making it feel like a home away from home. The breakfast provided was excellent and incredibly tasty, offering a delightful start to the day. The staff at AND Hotel were exceptionally friendly and nice. They were always willing to offer advice whenever I asked, which greatly enhanced my stay. Moreover, the hotel's location is simply amazing, offering stunning views of both the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. It's truly a picturesque place to stay while exploring Istanbul. Overall, I highly recommend AND Hotel for a memorable and comfortable stay in this beautiful city.

Everything was fantastic. The hotel met all of my expectations. The location of the hotel is perfect, just some minutes from Ayasofya and Sultanahmet camii. From the restaurant on the roof the panorama is amazing from Galata tower to Sultanahmet. The room is well equipped, TV, air conditioner, electric kettle. Cleaning was also perfect.Bedclothes and towel were changed every day. Finally-and it is also as important as the above mentioned things- Murat and all of the hotel staff were very polite, friendly and helpful, regurarly asked how I am and whether I need something. From the hotels I has experience in İstanbul, it is the best so it is sure that I will choose them next time, too.

Our rooms had front row seats to both The Blue Mosque and Aya Sophia.... absolutely stunning views and so central for transport, shopping and main sites. Very polite and friendly staff....a very big thank you to the 3 young people in the dining room....Yasuf, Emir and the delightful Songul...they are so helpful and relaxed it was a pleasure to meet them each morning. We stayed 9 nights and loved it .

Everybody was lovely but we were extremely disappointed when our laundry,which was estimated by weight to cost 10 euro each room turned into 35 and 50 euro...this was said to just be a misunderstanding as the young man didn't really know.... Also just a mention that some of the showers are very small.
