Breakfast is AMAZING! Amazing food, coffee, and service. Cynthia is wonderful. Rooms are beautiful and the whole hotel surroundings pool, spa, shops, etc. are bespoke. Place is absolutely breathtaking! Oh and the restaurant food is great. Reagan is an amazing server and the burger is so yummy!

The hotel has a lot of cats - currently 12 of them I was told. I wasn't a fan -- but, I'm not a cat person. Some people might think they're cute...just seemed so strange to me for a hotel to have them living at the property and I didn't like how they came up to me while I was eating. But, overall....the place is wonderful and I'll make it my home base every time I travel to Uganda.

It was a very nice hotel. the staff was super friendly and well trained, the breakfast was amazing, the atmosphere, with the courtyard of flowers and trees, was nice, the room was spacious and both of the restaurants were really good. I stayed here for 10 days during tmy business trip, but would absolutely come back for vacation.

The only negative thing was the housekeeping. They kept forgetting to give me towels, toilet paper and water, and almost everyday I had to call the reception, sometimes repeatedly, to get those things. Also, when I arrived the window lock was broken and didn't close properly. They quickly fixed it but I kept having issues with it during my stay. As a woman traveling alone, I did not feel safe in a room facing the backstreet with a window that would not lock.

The staff here are absolutely amazing - warm, friendly and really helpful! They went above and beyond. We had a fantastic stay. The food and drink options on site were great and the pool area and gardens are nice places to hang out when it gets too hot to walk around and explore. The location made it easy to get around to shops, bars and restaurants nearby. We stayed in an exec room for 4 nights and a deluxe room for 2 nights with a safari trip in between - the main difference in the exec room is that it has a balcony area and is further off the street so slightly quieter, but otherwise they were both a really good standard of room with comfortable beds, seating, huge tvs (with Netflix) and a nice clean bathroom. Would highly recommend staying here if visiting Kampala!

Everything was really great so there’s not much to say we didn’t like - maybe would have been good to have an iron in the room as standard (though they brought one when we asked) and hair conditioner as well as shampoo… but these are very tiny things!

Everything was just so great! Even tho I made a mistake with my booking and booked for the wrong month, they were fast to help me out and provided me with the best service. Everywhere I went in that Hotel I was greeted with the most friendliness and even at the gates the lovely guards treated me with much care. I spent originally three nights there but then extended for one night which they did for me super easily and at the same cost. Even the late check out I requested on the morning of my last day, they gave to me as a New Year's Gift! Breakfast was incredible tasty, the Deluxe Room so spacious and modern decorated, the showers were a pleasure. The overall design was just the cherry on top but what I think makes this Hotel a MUST STAY and gives it the most value is the care and love with which they treat their residents. 10/10, I will be coming back for sure!!

There was nothing I didn't like!

Everything. i travel internationally at least once a month, sometimes twice and have stayed in all sorts of hotels from bed and breakfasts to five star. never have i found the hospitality that fairway offered. it was just one or two members of the staff who were exceptional. each and every one, be it in the restaurant, room service or general hotel were marvelous. The team leader Richard went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. i was so well looked after that i didn’t feel i was in a hotel. if only other hotels could learn from Fairway about hospitality!

nothing- yes, they don’t have elevators and i am sure people will find something that wasn’t perfect but for me, everytime even the slightest issue arose, the staff addressed it immediately

The hotel grounds are a garden sanctuary in the heart of Kampala! The on-site restaurant served great meals - I enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner and didn't have a single bad meal. The staff were all courteous too. When I accidentally knocked over my glass on the table, the staff quickly rushed to help clean up the mess and pick up the glass. The rest of the staff were all friendly too.

The only complaint was the AC unit wasn't working in my room. I communicated that I preferred not to switch rooms as I was already unpacked and relaxing. The staff brought a fan and it was very adequate to keep me cool with the pleasant weather in Kampala, but it seems an oversight on hotel maintenance.

Clean rooms and hotel. Cozy atmosphere. Excellent service. Excellent breakfast and restaurant.

Gym was like a bad joke. It was just in that badly equipped and maintained. Staff was clearly racist and treated people how they looked and liked. Foreigners were treated overly nicely and locals like nuisances.

Pleasant stay in central location. Staff was friendly and smiling. Breakfast was nice with many options to choose from. Gym was good as well as was the pool area.

The hotel was very busy with conferences and wedding receptions, so not only guests but many other different types of persons in the hotel areas. Pool and restaurants could get crowded in afternoon and evenings due to this. Supplies in the bathroom of the room could be improved - sanity kit lacking and shampoo of poor quality. I asked for conditioner for my hair and though the reception promised to look into this, I never got a response. Minor things though.

The room exceeded my expectations, Breakfast could do with more choice, it was good but not exceptional, The food that was provided for breakfast tasted amazing but they could do with adding more choice. I did not visit the restaurant. The room I was given exceeded my expectations, had an oven which was very helpful with me having travelled with a 1 year old that ate at awkward times of the day. It will also be helpful if there would be a flat iron in the room for conviniency. The outdoor breakfast restaurant was very good, it was lovely sitting outside having breakfast every morning.

The bathroom was same level as the rest of the room, so when I had the shower on full power, there was a risk of water from the bathroom running into the bedroom. The bathroom hole didn't take water as fast as it came from the shower. It would be helpful if instructions for operating the oven were provided in the room. we struggled a little to get the oven going, but when we called reception they sent someone straight away.

The room was nice, cosy, and functional. The personnel, in general, very attentive and pleasant. The hotel is arranged in sich a way to have a lot of green, both inside and outside. Ample choice of food. The restaurants were nice.

Maybe the only negative thing I can think about is that the breakfast menu was not that complete. It could be enriched.
