Beautiful green spot, very centrally located. Amazing how the trees block out most of the city noises. Breakfast a la carte is delicious and they make a nice cappuccchino also. I chose it for the pool and I liked it - open any time of day.

The breakfast buffet did not convince so much (probably one has to come early?). They arrange air-port pick-up but it is a third party, and you have to deal with them yourself including price! I advice Humura to be clear about that; personally I would know alternatives that I prefer (as it is not part of the hotel service directly). I also thought they could reduce or even avoid the loud music they often play - it kind of reduces the strength/ selling point of the resort - though tastes about that vary, of course.

It is a beautiful boutique hotel in the middle range. I couldn't afford to stay in the big, 5 star hotels. I thought the value for money was exceptional. The staff were incredibly helpful and caring and arranged a scooter driver (Boda) for me for all my travels during my stay. We quickly formed a relationship and I felt very much at home. The type you bring gifts to when you visit again. The room was large, had everything I needed, with a beautiful view over a neighbouring garden. Air con was good, wifi was good, bathroom was big. I didn't use the pool or the gym as I was busy working. I enjoyed the garden, lounge and dining/breakfast area.

By the time I went for a shower I think the hot water may have been finished. It's not a problem as it's a hot country and a lukewarm shower is also great. When I took a shower early in the morning, the water temperature was nice and hot.

The hotel design is enjoyable, the rooms are good and provided with the necessary items. The place is quiet in a busy Kampala. Good staff! The waiting time in restaurant was good, with an adapted menu!

The Card Swiping POS machine was not functioning and no alternative option was available except cash payment. This was time consuming, I had to move in the city to find an ATM and collect cash! There is need to improve the monitoring of room cleaning. Some locations in the room where overlooked!

You really get value for your money at this place. Hotel manager Dumi is making sure that you have a good time -- and in the rare case that things are not as you want them to be, he and his team are working hard that things are fixed as quickly as possible.

The gym could get an upgrade. But having said that, I was happy that there was a gym in the first place -- not necessarily to be expected at a hotel of this size.

The location is close to amenities and the place looks really wonderful and idyllic. Too bad I didn't get to try out the swimming pool

The hot water was very tricky to work out and once on, it was too hot as the mixer wasn't working well. The duvet was very old and lumpy

Very convenient and easy to walk to; comfortable dining facilities; gym facilities were fit for purpose; and clean and comfortable room

Some difficulties with the WiFi connection in my room, particularly in the evening hours

It's a lovely quiet refuge in the middle of bustling Kampala. There is a palpable sense of calm the moment you arrive, and the manager and his staff are so welcoming. The bed was comfortable with proper mosquito nets, and there was a plentiful supply of free bottled water. The location is great for the city and Makerere University.

From the time I walked into reception to the time I left, everything was EXCELLENT! Mr Dubé and his team (Willis, Catherine, Ronald, Ivan, Phiona) can’t do enough for you x

The decor, the food, the customer service

.The room was spacious, with comfortable chairs, a smart TV and an enormous bath! The bed is a super king size and extremely comfortable, surrounded by a mosquito net In addition, there was a small private sitting room. Next door was a meeting room (free to use) with a beautiful table and room for six people So far so good.. Despite all the comforts above, they faded into insignificance compared to the staff. Without exception, they are the most professional, friendly and accommodating team I've ever come across. Every little request was greeted with a smile and an instant response.

Leaving

Warm and friendly atmosphere as well as the cozy environment. The staff are extremely friendly (I was even able to get a late night snack on arrival after a very long flight)
