Very clean and luxurious accommodations minutes from the international airport. I had no issue getting a certified taxi day of my flight and the hotel stay was refreshing after staying in Panajechel with fewer high end options. This was well worth the $93.70 USD and was more than a person can expect in the states. Would definitely stay again! Staff were friendly, accommodating and food in the restaurant was good and nicely presented. Shout out to the hardworking bartender from Antigua as well, I want to say his name is Envil. Excellent service and very valuable employee deserving of a raise!

The food is excellent. The staff is kind especially Jefferson Morales, one of the managers, who went above and beyond helping me. They need to give him a promotion or a pay raise because he IS the best.. They also have a pool and Jacuzzi now which is new from last year. This place is centrally located in a safe area with many shops and restaurants. All the rooms are suites.and the price is affordable.

The noise in the rooms is terrible. We weren't able to sleep the first two nights, and they helped us to change rooms to one a little bit less noisy, but there are a lot of party places surrounding the hotel and noise gets there, even on high floors (we were at the 11th and 7th floors). They party even on Sundays and Mondays.

Staff was amazingly friendly. The room was clean, very comfortable, good space and ambient. Breakfast was very good considering it’s buffet, staff super friendly and they evidently put an effort on making you feel very comfortable and satisfied.

I would consider a little refurbishment. It doesn’t look old or rusty, but considering it’s a 5 stars hotel in a very good location I’d say rooms could be a little more modern and updated

Twice the room, half the price of the Intercontinental. Great beds, great wifi, good breakfast, very friendly. helpful staff, perfect location. Intercontinental and Camino Real have more elegant common areas, and we have stayed in both. But we keep coming back to Clarion because the rooms are way bigger and better. And did I mention free parking.

The rooms were very clean and spacious. The amenities were good and at reach. The hotel was located close to Restaurants, bars and a mall. Overall, it was a good experience.

Guatemala is famous for it's coffee... Might be nice to have some free coffee somewhere close to the reception :-)

I love the fact that they now have a pool and Jacuzzi. This is new from last year. I love to swim so this was an addition that I welcomed. The pool was not cold and that is priceless

There were a couple of smudges on furniture in room. One looked like lipstick.

The beds were clean . They need to renovate the furniture is to old . If they put just the bed with white sheets would make it look more modern ( without the green sheet) The lobby is nice but the old furniture makes the hotel look old. I enjoy Holliday inn better

Very Impressed with Hotel Clarion in Guatemala City. Located in Zone 10 (best district) Filtered drinking water in the rooms, Comfortable beds, Great crew. The sidewalks in this district look like Jade tiles. Great restaurant with good food and drink selection. The breakfast is located in a jungle setting with draping vines, tropical plants, Rock caves and and a waterfall. Best place to stay in Guatemala City. 5 stars.

Great location.Rooms are big and beds are comfortable.I like that the manager always tries to make sure that your stay is pleasant.
