We liked everything about the property. We booked the signature villas (definitely worth it to be along the ocean instead of across the street). It was close to the ocean, with easy ramp access across a boardwalk. It had a wonderful pool, with an infinity section facing the ocean which was especially amazing in the evening. The staff in the coffee bar area were very helpful and friendly. We were given wrist band RFID key cards which were so much easier to keep track of while swimming! The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. We had booked 3 rooms for our family of 16 (8 adults, 8 children). We hung out mainly in one room, the other 2 were for napping and/or getting away from the family noise….worked perfectly. 1 room was large enough for us all to mingle, play games, watch shows, eat, etc. The Putt-putt course was fun and clean, and interesting. Best Galveston family vacation yet, this was our 4th year to do this.

Only thing that I didn’t like was, checkin was cumbersome, and there was a soft sell to listen to a “presentation” for more freebies, like a timeshare thing. I said no, and there was no further pressure, so only a little negative. This will not stop us from coming here again next year.

The property was nice and roomy, we had a two bedroom at the beach. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We stayed three nights and wanted to be at the beach so for us it was the perfect location. The pool is very nice and compared to other hotels large. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need to make a family meal (pots, pans, plates, silverware, coffee maker, etc.). Beds were comfortable.

The restaurant was no to our liking, for a resort the menu consists of basic fast food. The cafe at the pool side has a very limited fast food menu. Room service has to be requested. Oh and then there is the timeshare sells pitch, which of course you don't have to do but we went for it and the freebies they offered. We attend knowing that we would never buy a time share so the 90 minutes turned into 150 minutes. We enjoyed our stay at the resort and think that the brand should separate itself from selling timeshares.

Villas were very clean and spacious. The young lady working the cafe by herself was fantastic!

The pictures and descriptions of this place are very misleading. It's definitely not seaside as you have to cross the street. There is 1 pool that's not heated for villa guests. The other pool and gym area apparently are for signature guests only. However, there is nothing on this page that even gives you that option, so why include those pictures. Check-in is 4 pm, and some of our rooms weren't ready till close to 5 pm. No elevator, which is also not stated. Just very misleading for the amount of money you pay.

We really liked the hotel. We stayed in a signature building that is just on the beach. The room was spacious and had high ceiling. It had a big balcony with table and chairs, full kitchen and washer/dryer. Each bedroom had a bathroom. The master bedroom faced the ocean and had a shower with two showerheads plus a bathtub. The second bedrrom faced an internal bay with almost no obstacles. There was a great pool and a double level hot tub. There was a bar with drinks and snacks like pizza, flatbreads. The beach is very close and you can walk there on a wooden bridge which is a wheelchair accessible. The parking is under the building that mean it was shady. There is also a cafe across the road. Since it's a pretty remote hotel from Galveston there were almost nobody on the beach.

The sound insulation could be better. also there was a little humming noise of an AC unit. The path from a room to the pool goes through a building which could be chilly if you are wet. There are two staircases from the pool area to the ground to get to the beach but they were locked.

Christian and Kimberly made our trip awesome!!! They felt like family and treated us like so!! The crew here absolutely made our trip memorable!!They helped keep the kids busy and kept us entertained. Knew where all the local good food was and tips to make our trip memorable! The perfect concierge!! The rooms were clean and beautiful ❤️❤️ view was perfect!! Friendly staff and they have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Just a short hop to the beach, the perfect view on a beautiful balcony. Covered parking was great. I felt safe the whole trip which was a huge plus. The pool is spectacular and the hot tub is amazing!! The beach is so clean and not over crowded!! Convenient elevator, wash station and drive! This is the hotel you want to stay at. Just book it, vip side, ocean view, go to the club house and ask for Christian, ask him for a drunken mermaid he'll smile and make you the best drink ever!! We WILL BE BACK!! The view, the service, and the rooms are 10/10 perfect!!

Amenities are lacking. In need of a REAL restaurant and bar. The cafe seems like an afterthought or someone afraid of investing in your customers leisure. The arcade is an absolute joke. You then want $1 to play? Make a true arcade for people to come and enjoy. Not a run down creepy room off the activity room. One elevator was not working. Luggage carts are trash. Everyone has flat tires and looks like it’s straight from the 60’s. Pay attention to the details. This property could be so much better.

We loved that it was right across from beach, and the pool was really nice.

The floors were very dirty. We have a crawler and his knees and hands were black. Our king comforter had a huge chocolate stain as if the maid didn’t change out the comforter. The showers seemed like they haven’t been clean before. When we brought up about having someone come and mop they just dropped off a vacuum. We had to call 3 times to get some extra towels. Also, the pull out bed in the couch was so thin. I don’t think it’s good enough for anyone to sleep on. The springs definitely hit your ribs.

I loved that this side of the beach was more private than closer into town. I paid more for the room, but it was well worth it for the quality of the beautiful room, site, and beach. I loved that your suite offered a washer and dryer with soap, it was so much easier to keep the room clean with that option. Also, the private feel of the beach and deck access allowed for us to enjoy the sounds of the ocean vs. a neighbors boom box....the best.

Just a few feedback items: I didn't like that breakfast service didn't start until 9 am. There were only 2 microwave style sandwiches or dessert bars offered at the front desk as an alternative. My kids would have been starving if we had waited, so we ended up going into town for breakfast on most of the days. I could only locate a luggage trolley once during our stay, and it was rusted and falling apart.

We usually stay at a Holiday Inn Beachfront property that has immediate access to a private stretch of beach. This time we were introduced to a new property at the Presidents and Ambassador suites as part of the Holiday Inn Beachfront resort properties. We were originally given a condo on the second floor of one of the buildings. Unfortunately the family above us allowed their child to run across the living area at top speed from 6 p.m. to close to 11:00 at night on the night of our arrival. After working with the reservation desk, we were given a new condo in another building on the top floor that was much quieter. If you are looking for a place to relax, unwind and find some peace, with the ability to cook your own meals at your leisure, this is the place. The activities center and the beach are just across the road from the condos. The property is roughly ten miles away from all the businesses and crowds on the main stretch of beach that is so popular in Galveston and is often times heavily congested traffic wise. We visited the week after Labor Day when the summer season was coming to an end, so things were pretty quiet. Watching the Tequila Sunsets with a cocktail in hand on your balcony is a must or just sitting with a cup of coffee watching the sunrise in the morning, while listening to the sounds of nature is part of this experience. Not a bad way to vacation at all!

Why create extra amenities for only the Signature renters to use? Every customer should have the same access to everything. Just increase rates by $40/night. I thought it absolutely tacky to have to hear about some 90 minute time share sales pitch upon checking in. People are trying to get rid of their time shares, not purchase them.
