The location is stunning, the room was lovely - we had a desert view room with a small balcony. Everywhere was immaculate, authentically Arabian and beautiful. The pool area has been thoughtfully designed and when we were there, it was very quiet and no problem getting a cabana or sun bed. I can also highly recommend the sunrise camel ride. Breakfast was pleasant but not outstanding.

We found the staff to be very polite but not very attentive. We had to wait a long time to be served drinks and food at the pool and our dirty plates/cups from lunch were still there when we left the pool at 5pm!

Amazing rooms, extremely clean, super nice and friendly people. Was an impressive stay and I would really recommend to go there if you´re happy outside of AbuDhabi. It´s an almost 1h drive into the city, which is for sure the biggest disadvantage if you have to work, but same time the biggest advantage to just be by the pool, relax and enjoy the quietness and the peace of the desert. I really liked the design, the comfy beds, tub, pool. Everything on a very high level. Really great stay. I loved it.

The property is absolutely stunning and the spa is Devine! The staff went completely out of their way to make our anniversary special. The food and drinks were delicious. Highly recommend.

The location isn’t really desert resort. It’s more like edge of the desert shrub sand land. Not near fantastic dunes.

The resort itself is as stunning as it is laid back. A well needed refreshing break from the big city life, a real breath of fresh air. What really took the trip to the next level however was the quality of service and attentiveness of the staff at every turn. We were designated our own personal butler, Kamran, on arrival and he really made sure that our every need was catered for and was always offering useful information and suggestions for us, even bringing us wonderful fruit plates and baklava to our rooms which really was a touch of class!! Everyone from the bar and waiting staff to the chef were extremely welcoming and took the time to have a chat with us throughout our stay. The pool area is simply stunning with plenty of shaded cabanas and a swim up pool bar to grab a refreshing drink. The entire resort has such an awesome Bedouin style retreat vibe and although it was very quiet being off season it still maintained a rich atmosphere. Both restaurants Italian and Moroccan offered up exceptional dishes with extensive wine lists. The only thing I would say is that the lighting could be adapted in the Italian restaurant in the evenings to offer a more intimate ambience as it felt a bit too bright which creates a more formal uptight atmosphere, an adaptable dimming system with some extra candle light would work wonders in there for the more relaxed Italian dining vibe. Finally our room was luxuriously cozy with pool view balcony and no expense spared with regards to attention to detail of what one might need during a vacation. An extra deep bathtub is always welcome and this one was big enough for 2 people and you were able to soak in the bath whilst watching a movie with a glass of wine in hand which is always a luxury comfort! Overall top marks for this place and I will really look forward to returning during the busy season to check the place out with a more lively vibe too.

The staff were EXCEPTIONAL. They went above and beyond to make sure we were always happy and taken care of. They went the extra mile everytime. The guys at the pool, Kar and the rest. Also Dipesh in f&b, I suppose, was phenomenal. They removed items off the bill that the kids didn't end up eating/liking and offered to replace it. We ate at the Italian restaurant in the evening and had an amazing experience with the staff there, a major plus was that the kids got to feed horses while we had dinner. We also did a horse ride around sunset into the desert which was so beautiful. I would say we recieved one of the best services I have ever experienced throughout our 2 days there. I found it pretty great that they had the calorie count on the menus at the pool bar and the Italian restaurant, I like that extra step. The guys that are with the falcon, hawk and owl are so kind and took time to explain to the kids about each one.

The tub in the bathroom's water was very weak so we couldn't use it, but that was ok. I would recommend adding more things to the pool menu, like a better range of salads, maybe sushi rolls or sashimi/ceviche.

- Great location "in the middle of a desert" - Nice design with Arabic vibes, but not too overwhelming and pretty much minimalistic - Really liked buffet options for dinner - Nice, quiet and cosy environment

- I would encourage more thorough cleaning of public areas after birds - It is stated that they have EV charging station, however, output is limited to 1,6KW which is less than in regular home socket - would be great for technical team to update system and provide at least 10KW+ charging capabilities

The hospitality was second to none. There was nothing that the staff said no to, very accommodating. Felt like a little palace with royal treatment. Gym 24hrs and spa was very tranquil and relaxing. Staff were friendly, relaxed and happy, no complaints at all. Breakfast and bbq buffet dinner was amazing. Pool was stunning and so was the sunset. Rooms and amenities were high quality. Will definitely return.

Hotel was very secluded and far from the city. Taxis had to be ordered in advance. The rooftop bar was closed during our 3 night stay. We were told that there was a private event but didn’t see any events going on. Would have been nice to have some evening entertainment as the hotel is very secluded and far from everything so after dinner there was nothing to do.

The property itself is incredible, the staff here were overly accommodating, so friendly and helpful, literally every single worker we met here made our stay what it was, we really want to thank all staff members. We met Isha Neha, Sagnik in particular and were so fantastic. There was not one negative thing here, it was AMAZING & we strongly recommend this place

it is very rare that I don't find an issue at a hotel, be it, food, service, music, there is always something hotels get wrong. However, Al Whatba was absolutely perfect in every single way, the Staff were amazing and attentive, but not annoyingly attentive. The restaurants were great and one with horses who can come and be fed whilst you are dining which my wife LOVED, the POOL is incredible, and heated perfectly for this temperature. The rooms were great! the music (which is always a problem for me) was perfect for the vibe they have created out in the desert. And finally, the SPA was amazing.. I really couldn't find a single fault with their operation. and they deserve 11/10 - I will 110% be returning to this hotel and spreading the word about the place. Well done!

Staff was very welcoming and attended to our needs Asanka the buttler offered us snacks and desserts that were kept in the fridge upon arrival, we enjoyed the pool and outdoor privacy, the kitchen had a coffee machine but only 4 pods plenty of water bottles were provided the bed was sprinkled with flowers and it was very comfy, can't wait to go back again
