Spacious room. A little bit dated, but clean and well taken care of. Breakfast offers all one could want, including fresh juices, milk shakes / smoothies, salads, eggs, rice, fish, sausages, a wide selection of breads and sweets. There were plenty of vegetarian options. 👍 I was positively surprised when I learned that we could use the sauna and pool (23rd floor) for free. 👍 The hotel also has a steak restaurant included. However, we choose to visit one of the dozens of restaurants within walking distance of a few minutes. Absolute Recommendation: Asian Plates (on the other side of Al Meena Street)

Room windows cannot be opened since the floors are quite high up. So we had to rely on the AC, which was sometimes smelly. And definitely too loud for the night, so we turned it off before going to bed.

Great hotel with very attentive hotel staff. Walking distance to major malls and the Corniche Beach. Rooftop pool and breakfasts were a standout.

I book the room to my friends Winniecel Faisal and they told me that the room The room smells smoke. We request twin bed but they gave king size bed.

We traveled with one year old this time. The staff was very very friendly. Everybody was playing with her, talking to her and giving us extra attention, making our stay memorable. Very special thanks to Guru the lifegard for his amazing energy and for the help for every thing. I have met him 4 years ago and it was so nice seeing him again. We stayed 7 nights and we recoment it full. One other special thanks to Sreekanth the laggage assistant. We left the baby shoe in a taxi and taxi driver brought it to the hotel and Sreekanth was calling us and looking for us to make sure that we will take it. Over all we have stayed 7 nights total at the hotel. The breakfast was very good but the same every day. The breakfast was very good but the same every day. The only dissapontment it was at Blue sky bar that the hotel allows escort girls. This one was the only disadvantage regarding our total stay.

They helped us with a late checkout due to our late check-in, which we really appreciated. The manager was also really open to feedback and helpful with finding solutions to make our stay more comfortable. Next time, I'd take his advice and ask for a different room if we needed to change. Thanks to Margot's exceptional service and recommendations, it was really nice to be able to use the gym and pool even after we checked out. Both areas were really clean and well-kept, which made them a joy to use. My son had a great time in the sauna, too. We also appreciated the safety measures you have at the hotel. Checking IDs for all guests made us feel secure and comfortable during our stay. Also, the location of your hotel is great - just across from a convenience store and with plenty of taxis around. But one of the best things for us was the secure parking for our car and we were really thankful for that. Overall, we had a memorable stay at Southern Sun, and a lot of that was down to your team's hard work and dedication to making sure guests are happy. We can't thank you enough for the warm and professional service we received. We're really looking forward to our next stay and to see what other improvements you've made.

The reception was 24hrs, so you'd always get support no matter what time. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Guaranteed that you'll meet someone to open your door even at 3am!!

The breakfast wasn't the best variety, chef was slow with egg station. I had to come back three times for simple poached egg. For the standard of the hotel, the breakfast didn't match it. Also, the staff (apart from the lady at the front entrance reception) were all very rude. However, there was one young Asian man who was always polite and knew we loved tea so would always come and ask if we wanted tea. Nevertheless, was disappointed with the food options and overall kitchen services.

This was our second stay at the hotel, so expectations were clear. Once again, the breakfast stood out with its vast variety and fresh orange juice. The room has a great mattress and pillows, ensuring a nice rest. Both the room and facilities also have a reliable internet that allowed me to have some long zoom calls. Although the hotel isn't right on the beach or next to major attractions, it's very easy to get anywhere by taxi. 15 minutes to Soul Beach on Saadiyat in one direction and 25 minutes to the Grand Mosque in the opposite direction.

I'd say power sockets in the room need some maintenance. They have been in operation for a long time and some chargers are kinda wobbly when plugged in and sometimes there are sparks coming out.

The staff were excellent, especially my housekeeper Dilukshan Aravinth really made it a point to go out of his way to make sure I was comfortable. The facilities, breakfast, bar area, business center were all well equipped and clean. I would definitely stay here again especially in light of the reasonable cost.

The hotel had no adapter to offer me, which really surprised me. While they provided a USB port charging station in the room, my iphone required a C port. So, I had to scramble initially to make sure I could charge all my devices. I would highly urge the hotel to at least have a few adapters on hand for guests. Otherwise, I had no issues and really enjoyed staying at this hotel.
