The room and parking were excellent, and the staff could not have been more helpful - both on reception and at breakfast. They couldn't do enough and it was most appreciated! The pool area is also great.

There were not enough clean plates, glasses or mugs available at breakfast. Also, coming out of a global pandemic, can we please cover the food (fruit, pastries, cheese etc.) for sanitary reasons and because in the heat and air conditioning it dries out very quickly. In this day and age we should be more conscious of transmission of viruses, and also of food wastage. I would have eaten more food if it hadn't been exposed, and if it hadn't been so dry. However, the omelette bar and fresh orange juice machine were both excellent!

I used to live in Abu Dhabi and was back for a quick visit, so I stayed at the Grand Mercure for two nights. The location is great, right in the center of Abu Dhabi's downtown and easy enough to walk places or grab a taxi. Parking is free and plentiful. I was super impressed with the size and comfort of my room relative to the price...what a great deal! Super clean, friendly staff, comfortable bed, and easy access to a city that is near and dear to my heart.

Everything was great...just a tip for those taking taxis around. Taxi drivers know this hotel as "Majlis", not "Grand Mercure". That info might be helpful if you're trying to find a way back to the hotel in the evening. :)

Great location - easy walking distance to Abu Dhabi Mall, restaurants and local attractions. Staff were excellent and very accomodating. Room was large Breakfast was excellent, especially during EID. Wifi was great Located on a main road, but no noise. Room was very clean and serviced each day. Taxi service easily available

Pool and spa area could be more appealing (maybe some plants to soften the area) We were staying in a two bedroom apartment with two bathrooms, but only had 1 towel in each bathroom, but this was dealt with by reception. Although very well maintained, it is a little dated.

This was our second time staying at the Grand Mercure. We chose this property again because of its affordable rates and amazing location, right in the middle of the city and accessible to many tourist attractions and restaurants. One is always welcomed with warm smiles, from the bellboy to the reception desk to the housekeeping staff. The hotel rooms are cozy, comfortable, cleaned regularly, and well-maintained. All in all, the Grand Mercure is worth every penny spent and is a place one would highly recommend to others, as well as choose to stay at repeatedly.

I really liked the food, breakfast was amazing. Also tried the room service and ordered from a restaurant- amazing! Nice view from the windows. Good location. Helpful and kind staff!

Pretty clean, but there were a lot of little details like hair in the sink from previous guest, some dirt on the kitchen wall that I didn’t like and it wasn’t removed after cleaning. Also it was a bit discomforting for me as a single woman to have another door in my room that is shared with another room and not controlled with cameras like other doors(obviously there can be no camera inside my room but I’m just saying). I wouldn’t stay in this type of room again. But the service was quite nice and helpful.

We had a comfortable stay. Rooms are spacious and staffs are so friendly. They accepted for a late check-out with a smile. We had group dinner (25 people) at Mezzahto restaurant and Mr Aymen supported very well from booking till completion. Even the Chef was so cooperative and made a quick vegan dish for our Vegan friends. Lot of sweets variety including Umali. Had less Indian options otherwise Food was delicious

When we checked in , there is no kettle in the room, next day we ask and they supplied. Similarly there is no complement water bottles, however next day they supplied.

The facility is in a great location with Abu Dhabi mall a walking distance and other shops around. Entire facility was clean and well managed. Our apartment was well equipped with necessary facilities for a family's getaway comfort. Breakfast was buffet with varieties of food to select from. It's worth our stay. The well-fitness facilities were also awesome! Ms Manal and all the staff, including house-keeping and restaurant staff were polite and excellent in discharging their duties. Thank you all for your great services!

The rooms were rather too cold for us. We had to switch off all the ACs, yet the air circulation was too cold for us. There should be a way to regulate the temperature of the rooms for more comfort.

I went with the least expectations from the room, but when i entered the room...just one word wow...it was big, well furnished, well lighted, kitchen is very good, spacious. The good thing was windows are big in living room, bedroom, because of that the room has good light throughout the day. i would recommend for anyone travel with family can book this one.

TV services can be improved, in this world of Netflix, Prime videos, they dont have smart TV's. At least a chromecast would be better. Though they have lot of TV channels to watch for, especially NatGeo and when you are with kids, cartoon channels are must.

If you are looking for a reasonable & well staffed place to stay that is central to the corniche, and are not too fussed that the place is just a tad dated but clean - then you will be well satisfied with your stay here. Staff was pleasant and helpful, wifi good. We are a family of 4 adults, 1 infant and child. We stayed in a non smoking 2 bedroom apartment. It was spacious for all of us, comfortable beds, clean, complete with amenities, and a kitchenette with washer/dryer. Could not have asked for more! Plenty of options near by for food and groceries within walking distance hence we did not select a breakfast option. Most definately if we are in Abu Dahbi again we will be back here! Do ask the concierge for their last price deals on theme parks and tour packages. We discovered a little too late that the last price offered at the hotel was really cheaper then outside!

Worn out carpets . Breakfast a large variety but food unimaginative. Lots of chooses of cooked food for meat eaters far less for vegetarians No back up emergency in room and electricity failed at 5 in the morning
