Location, breakfast was very good. Liked the free buses to the beach (see below) and the Mall. Pool was nice.

Had to pay cash deposit, which it says in small print, but didn't like that they refused to give a receipt for the cash. I did get the cash back at the end of our stay, but I didn't think it was very professional. One day they cancelled the bus to the beach because it was "raining". It was not raining. I would have gone to the beach even if it had been raining.

This is an older hotel, so my expectations (for Dubai) were not great - but I was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable (the bed was amazing) and had everything I needed. It has a kettle with all the makings, bottled water, a mini-bar etc. I was so thankful for the fully black-out curtains (I arrived 5am) and the quiet room (even though I was close to the lifts). I liked this hotel so much I originally booked for 1 stay, but returned a further 2 times during my Dubai stay. The location was perfect, a short 5-min walk to the Mall of the Emirates which has everything you need, including hire-care facilities. The Metro is also in the Mall, making this hotel perfect for getting around Dubai. The hotel staff were really helpful and friendly. And the hotel has an 'in-house' beauty spa (nails, hair and massage) with some absolutely delightful ladies. I didn't use the pool or spa on the roof, but popped up to take a look and if I had time to laze around the pool I probably would have.

Can't really say anything negative about this hotel, so struggling to find something to put here. Oh, the batteries in the TV remote needed replacing (which they did straight away) and the fridge didn't seem to cool properly initially, but they fixed it immediately.

I tend to stay here during my Dubai visits. It is a nice hotel in a central location, with clean and cosy rooms, new looking facilities and friendly staff.

They take 200 AED deposit when you first check-in. I have an idea about the reasoning behind it (for potential collateral), but I find it really odd and disturbing to be honest (never had trouble taking it back on check out). Also, the breakfast can be slightly better with more variety.

The room was quiet. The staff very polite and responsive. Quick room service. Hotel is located at a walking distance of Mall of the Emirates.

The room carpet had many stains which requires deep cleaning. The curtains also had stains. The breakfast buffet was listed for AED 35 on booking.com (pay at site) however I was asked to pay AED 55 which was misleading. The shower needs to be updated in my opinion. The TV needs an upgrade as it is outdated and I had problems accessing Netflix and Shahid tv.

The moment you step up in the lobby, the friendliness of the staff. There were too many to mention during my six-week stay. They were also very accommodating to our needs. Then you are welcomed by the cleanliness and pleasant smell of the elevator and the hallways leading to your room. Also, my room attendant Suleiman was exceptional and always ensured that our suite was clean and made up. The location of the property was just steps from one of Dubai's most popular malls.

The water pressure in the bidet spray nozzles could be a bit stronger.

I liked the location. The staff were very friendly. I got quick assistance from front desk Prashant and Laxmi. The breakfast was great, it needs more variety of coffee. Martin was very helpful at restaurant helping out for every needs. He was al over the restaurant.

Restaurant staff- Amit, Rabea, Avinash, Samiska and Vineet were all very helpful everyday. The hotel rooms very large and connected rooms were very convenient with young children. Each day, the staff left plenty of water bottles for us so we didn't have to buy any. Very good with cleaning and the hotel allowed us to check out late and held onto our luggage as we were not flying out till late. The location of the hotel is perfect. Close to metro and mall of emirates. You can see Burj Al Arab and Jumeriah Beach hotel from the hotel room too. Burj Khalifa can be seen in the distance too.

We stayed in Flora Al Barsha before so we knew what to expect. Room was spacious and modern. There was small refridgerator which was helpfull. Breakfast was good, many options and tasty. It is really good that hotel provides free shuttle to the beach. That is why we booked this hotel. Staff at the reception has been really nice. During this visit and also last visit.

We travelled after Dubai floods and I sent email to the hotel to ask about the situation wz tap water, aircon and whether the hotel was affected by flood because I read in news that many properties were flooded through roof and windows, respiratory diseases were spreading in Dubai and tap water was not safe to use. My niece has an asthma and I was really worried about mold. Unfortunately I got no reply from the hotel and half of my family decided to cancel the trip. The other half travelled and enjoyed it a lot.

In my opinion the best hotel in Dubai! Location is very good. Just a quick 5 minute walk to mall of the emirates. The hotel has very spacious rooms and furthermore a great gym, pool, sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi which are all free of charge to use. I had a Balinese Massage at the Serenity spa done by Reshma and it was the best massage I have ever had in my life. I often visit Dubai and I always choose this hotel for my stay, due to the great, central location, cleanliness of the hotel, the great staff who go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There is truly nothing to not like about this hotel.

The staff at Flora Al Barsha are the jewels in its crown. Every single staff member we interacted with was kind, courteous and super helpful. The restuarant staff were especially attentive and efficient. The breakfast was tasty with plenty of options Our room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom is also very roomy with a shower over the bath. We stayed 4 nights in August and although temperatures were in the 40's we were comfortable in the hotel with great air conditioning.

At first I thought the hotel looked a little tired nd seemed a long way away from some of the sights, but soon learned the metro which was great!.
