The accommodation was excellent, the staff are well trained, polite, competent and understand what the customer needs. They are great! The food was excellent. Great place to stay. Excellent location and the sea view is so lovely you could be anywhere in the world.

The parking arrangements need to be improved as they are a put-off to what otherwise is an excellent hotel. (We stayed over the August bank holiday, so it was busy, and in context Aldeburgh in general has limited car parking arrangements). If you have a small car it's much easier to park, but if you have an SUV/larger car, it is very difficult. In the end we parked in the public car park near to the hotel at £4/day. Perhaps the hotel should make an arrangement with this car park.

The staff and the services were excellent. The room was well equipped and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable with a firm mattress. Plenty of tea coffee and water supplied.

We stayed on the first floor the receptionist did her very best to accommodate our request for a quiet room away from the main hub of noise. Unfortunately we could hear a lot of noise from above mainly foot noise and doors being opened and closed, there didn’t seem to be any soundproofing. None the less we still had a good nights sleep

The hotel was clean comfortable and in a great location. Our room was a decent size with a lovely bathroom with a large shower and also a bath. Towels were changed often and cups etc changed and biscuits replaced. The breakfast was plentiful and well cooked and presented.The lounge was well appointed and comfortable and the outside terrace was good as well

At breakfast often there was a wait for coffee and tea to arrive and toast was often delayed as well. The food when it arrived was always well cooked though.Our room did not have soap but was given to us at reception with no problem. Our door lock was very stiff and the door hard to open. We mentioned it to housekeeping but it was not seen to while we were there.

The room was excellent, a good size with sofa and two armchairs. Also on the top floor and overlooking the beach, so a wonderful view. There was a good choice for breakfast, with a lighter continental choice or full cooked, and everything in between. Although the dinner menu was not extensive there was a willingness to mix and match items so you could create a meal to your taste. Food whenever served was always delicious.

Although the bathroom was large enough, for some reason the shower was put in the corner, with a curved screen it did not make for a comfortable shower at all.

The property is situated on the seafront with a nice outdoor seating area. The restaurant has a good gluten-free menu with a different ‘catch of the day’ and grill special each day. The Superior Seaview rooms have a nice view of the sea with a lounge area, the bathroom is big and includes a separate shower and the toiletries by Temple Spa are very nice. All the plug sockets have usb sockets and the beds are Superking size and comfortable. Wi-Fi connection is good throughout. Reservation staff were very helpful before I arrived with room arrangements. 5 min walk to high street for shops.

Limited parking spaces. Restaurant staff sometimes difficult to get to the table. Lift a bit doddery and loud, would be helpful to have a button to close lift doors and a small bench to sit on while waiting. Steps to some bedrooms could be difficult if mobility problems. Menu could become limited after a few days in restaurant.

Room was perfect and very comfortable, Good breakfast, amazing chef who cooked my fish dinner on evening of Sunday 14.8.22 Wow. Amazing waitress Emily, polite nice smile and tentative. Great pebble beach . Great comfort inside and outside for drinks and lunch. Fab housekeeping staff & one in particular from Romania. Constant hot water shower or bath.

Ask for a glass every morning for breakfast, toast arrives no butter, 2 small butter rounds for 3 peoples? Tea arrives no milk?

The room was lovely, beautifully finished, well thought out, and presented perfectly. It had clearly been aired, but was not cold. It was spotlessly clean throughout. The bathroom was exceptional. The room was quiet too. Rear facing, but that was not a problem for us. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was lovely, and the people were delightful, helpful and chatty.

Nothing. It was just what we wanted and needed.

The location is superb overlooking the sea. The standard of food was top class, restaurant standard . Nice Lounge to have a read and people watch. We had an inland view room, disappointed not to be looking out over the sea but that disappointment didnt last long as we had a wonderful over the River Alde and pasture land.

Parking is a slight issue at busy times, even with the extra space at the garages and front of hotel. The lounge which we enjoyed is looking rather tired and the beige seats need a good clean or recovering !! Our room was sweltering hot in the evening, it was a nice weekend and the sun sets on our room but the heat in the height of summer could be an issue

Absolutely loved the location, interesting little town and the seafront walks were amazing. Such an atmosphere of calmness and peace. Wonderful food in the restaurant, stylish and comfy lounge and restaurant. Staff were very helpful especially regarding food allergies.

Wasn't anything we didn't like but I would have liked a larger room and balcony! The hotel car park adjacent was full and access to the hotel underground garages was rather confusing but we managed to park for free on a nearby road.

the room has been refurbished and was very comfortable. I particularly liked the free water in the room, which was replenished every day. Breakfast was great, a good choice of hot food cooked to order. I have no complaints, the staff were friendly and helpful.

parking in their garage was very tight. if you have a big car you wouldn’t get in but there is plenty of free on street parking
