Found the location bit in the middle of 'nowhere' around country lanes, but was near, Weston S-Mare, Wells and Cheddar Gorge BUT you needed a car. Liked the layout of Hotel, menu was good, not particularly cheap but food hot and well presented. Breakfast 1st Morning Thurs 13th, bit of shambles. Come Saturday am and Dominika and 'girls' well sorted and very much on it, no inane 'chit chat' got on with the job, VERY professional. Swimming pool and spa area very good, staff very friendly and helpful. Lady on duty Saturday am was very good. (cant remember name).

NO LIFT, missed that!! Did get help carrying bags up to 3rd floor. Not great view out of window, overlooking back of main hotel, old roofs and back service area. Some areas bit tired and run down.

Ground floor room as requested, overlooking the courtyard. Perfectly adequate for the price. Good shower and handrails in the bathroom which proved useful. We had dinner on 3 nights which we enjoyed - good menu. Service was excellent, especially as big parties were in for 2 of those nights and the service staff had to go between rooms! Lovely views from front of hotel. We didn't use the extra facilities - spa, gym etc, so can't comment on those.

A rubber mat would have been useful in the bath - I nearly slipped whilst having a shower. A bit of a problem with wi-fi at first, but soon sorted by reception.

Staff were lovely. Dinner and breakfast were great. We didn't use the leisure facilities but they looked very nice and well maintained. The building is quaint with lovely outdoor spaces, but could do with painting and upgrading of the outside facade. This hotel is not suitable for people with mobility problems as there are a lot of stairs. There is a section that is not in use (being renovated?) that you can see from the lower carpark. I think it would be better if it had curtains or something so we couldn't see in. It's a bit off-putting as the first view of the place. Overall I think it's a nice place for a night or two and would recommend it.

From start to finish I’ve had the most.. beautiful time @ this beautiful hotel&spa! 🥰 I’d booked 8 treatments @ the fabulous Wellbeing spa & I’d booked the 1st treatment (mini natural facial lift facial) with Eloise before check in time to make the most of the 3day stay here. It was outstanding Eloise was so skilled at the fantastic facial she expertly performed on me & I felt so relaxed, revived, rejuvenated & de-stressed from the fantastic experience of it! & in the beautiful tranquil spa room just made it even better! I Highly recommended using the spa treatments here! Eloise was so professional, friendly, sweet & excellent at her job! & the body scrub, St Tropez spray tan & manicure with nail polish were just as exceptional as my 1st treatment with Eloise! I just loved my experiences there! So grateful for the beautiful start to my stay here! The hotel itself was just perfect & so beautiful, as I love oldie worldly buildings like it & found out it is a listed building & 100 years old! & as it was a Sunday until Tuesday stay was not busy or had many guests which made it even more peaceful&quiet which was just what I needed & so was perfect for relaxing in a beautiful spa hotel with super views from the terrace area. The staff were so friendly & professional, especially Cat on reception who made me feel so comfortable & welcomed. The fact you have all the facilities, swimming pool, sauna, gym, steam room, with a lovely&friendly receptionist Georgina there to assist. Plus Great bar, food & stylish restaurant under one roof & we used all of & where I/we had a few meals which were excellent! With professional, smart, attentive staff! The poached haddock was delicious & perfectly cooked, we really enjoyed our bar meals & restaurant experience at this fabulous hotel.

I loved EVERYTHING about it, personally for me there was Nothing not to like!

well-appointed hotel in a countryside setting a short drive from the M5, the hotel is dated but the area of the hotel and room that I stayed in was recently improved. room was excellent however the shower tray was dangerous with no handrail or non-slip surface. staff were fantastic and very passionate about working there, breakfast was well presented and good value for money I will stay here again.

assistance to deliver cases to your room, no doubt this would have been available if someone had asked however due to the number of stairs in the property and no lift this should be standard for the cases to be taken to your room and collected on departure if necessary.

The location was lovely and secluded but within a few miles of nearby seaside resort or well known landmarks The Breakfast and dinners were lovely The continental breakfast which we prefer was great and the fish and chips was gorgeous Will come again

Because of the type of room we purchased it was out in the courtyard which was fine but as we were on the bottom row which windows opened to wooded forage which went quite a way up the property was generally dark but more importantly quite humid when the weather was sunny and warm especially at night. In the winter months it would be ok. It would be handy to have a fan or something to keep cool just as you have radiators to keep warm

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Dinner was very good, maybe need to introduce a few more vegetarian choices. The bar was great and the whole location was lovely rural, quiet and scenic. It was a relaxing period for us.

The stairs! We were two couples in our 60s and 70s, one of the other couple has bad knees so it was difficult but we managed. Definitely would love to visit again but, now that we are aware of the different levels and stairs, we will make sure to ask for rooms on lower levels before booking. Otherwise, the positive things about the hotel outweighed this one disadvantage.

The staff were amazing and the location beautiful. It is a very quirky hotel built onto a beautiful old house. The bed was fine and the bathroom very pleasant. The rooms were a comfortable size. It was certainly ok for the two of us. We certainly enjoyed breakfast and it would be worth returning just to have breakfast The pool room was fab, possibly a bit small especially at the time we went, however you do have to book slots and we should have looked at that more carefully. However a very enjoyable experience The views were stunning and although the M6 was nearby, it. Really wasn't an issue. The wood burner chimney was right underneath our window and was fine except for the times they lit it. The fumes bellowed into our room as we like the windows open. But seriously these are pointings out rather than complaints and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

For me the changing rooms in the pool room really do need sorting out and some privacy cubicles would indeed be very welcome. Simply too open for my liking. We have a friend who is very disabled and would be reluctant to take him there as there are a lot of stairs. It was fine for us but not sure how he'd cope. Access for a disabled person was at the back of the hotel, which seemed a long way and over fairly bumpy ground, I felt pretty disappointed as we would love to take him there

Every year ,when driving back from Cornwall, I saw a large black & white building on a high hill just outside Weston Super Mare. I have often wondered what it was and this year I found out totally by accident. When I booked our stay, I had no idea the hotel we were staying at was this building!!!!!! The Best Western Webbington Hotel is quirky, with an amazing history including a murder mystery 😲😲😲 Ask reception for some information. 15 mins drive from Junct. 22.... some lovely, wiggly country roads to bimble through the countryside and you get there. Fabulous views from the terrace.......... Lovely clean rooms and comfy beds...breakfast and food in the restaurant was beautiful with some nice differences to the usual food fare ...the smocked haddock and egg for breakfast was fabulous...proper smoked fish too, not that yellow stuff! Great bar....often with specials and cocktails. It has wonderful spa facilities and pool and even better staff. It was a fabulous stay and we were made to feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to everyone. Bye, bye Webbington...thank you for having us.

Squeeze through the door to get into shower...but then I could do with losing a load of weight...a normal size person would have no trouble 😊 No lift!!! The building layout and age make it hard to get one put in However, if you are fit it won't be an issue and they will be very happy to move you to rooms that have fewer stairs to get to your room.

Very good location. Is just 20 min driving to Weston super Mare.Very peaceful and rural.Exactly what we needed to relax and get away from the city life

Overpriced.Smell of old place.Carpet very dirty and dirty towels left on the floor on the corner next to our room for 2 days. Friends came late and the kitchen was closed at 22.00,however one of the staff from the bar ,very friendly offered to make them sandwiches.4 sandwiches with ham and tuna that cost them 40£.One lady from the reception which i believed she was doing night shift was very unpolite to us,did not have any skills for hospitalily or to make us feel welcomed there
