Clean and comfortable room Bed comfy but mattress old. Good location Parking around the back. Quiet in spite of being by road Pretty old historic property .

Shower needs updating . Cheap hangers in wardrobe could be replaced by uniform wooden ones , elevating the quality . Breakfast expensive for the size ( not a full English more like half ) Details like a bottle of water and complimentary biscuits would elevate this property for little cost . Strict checkout at 10am meant I had to hang around til my flight which was at 9pm from Birmingham . Considering I had stayed 6 nights, a little leeway and a slightly later checkout would have been nice and a token of hospitality .

The place was very nice and cosy as per pictures. Very good value for money. We came for a quiet hen weekend with some friends. We all had a good time. The hosts were friendly. The place was warm (although you need to regulate your own temperature as it can get boiling hot!). The bedding was nice and clean.

The shower in room 1 definitely need renovation. The water pressure was minimal to none. The only weird thing was that the host lady was there in the living room all the time meaning that we didn’t use it as didn’t want to disturb her. Otherwise all nice and sound ☺️ The bathroom (room 1) and carpet could do with a bit better clean as we found hair etc. but hey! It’s hard to spot everything! Overall very good stay ☺️

I booked Easington Guesthouse for my business trip stay and I felt 100% comfortable. I really don’t understand some negative comments / ratings here. The house is very old but isn’t it normal for UK? Exactly this gives the Charme. The rooms are very clean, the beds comfortable (I slept so well!!), of course it creaks when you walk in your room and you hear your neighbours above walking around as well but this is normal in old houses like this. Deborah is such a lovely host. Welcoming and goodbye was very warm. She really cares and all questions were answered very helpful. Breakfast is simple but delicious. I looove this earl grey tea!! Parking area available and if you are able to handle and drive a car ( ;-) ) you won’t have problems to find a parking lot. Looking forward to next week for my third stay!

Nothing to mention.

Quaint house, lovely room

Didn't have a usable shower, just a handheld shower attached to the bath. Could not stand in bath to wash due to being in the attic room that had low sloping ceilings and beams. Lovely to look at but hubby kept banging his head. I couldn't get any hot water out of the showerhead, so had to wash my hair in the sink using a cup. I am not a fan of stairs and as we were in the attic, the top stairs were difficult for me to deal with as narrow and no handrail, but we were only there a couple of nights, not worth asking to be moved.

Friendly lady greeted us on arrival. Our room was on this ground floor which was good for me.Private parking at the back of the building which was a bit tight but not a problem. Bed was very comfy with a spare pillow.

We did not have breakfast so I cant comment. One house rule we've not come across before strictly no eating or drinking in your room, but you could bye food from the hostess at very competitive prices! Our room was small and there for very warm and the shower/toilet was an interesting event due to size! Having said all that our stop over was not an horrendous experience and we would stay again, just be aware of the house rules.

Deborah gave us a very warm welcome. Explained everything clearly and showed us to our room. Location for us was perfect. The house is lovely, nice decor, spacious room and bathroom which was all quite modern. We only used it to sleep and shower as spent our time visiting friends. Close to centre and shopping, so ideal location.

Although there was parking, it was quite hard to get into a space when we arrived back about 10.30pm. Accidently left our keys in the car overnight, so on the plus side, it's very safe! You could hear the people walking in the room above us as floors creaked, so if you're a light sleeper get a room upstairs and not ground floor by the stairs, as it is rather noisy.

situated within close walking distance of the town centre the facilities include private, free parking with a secluded quiet garden. Good sized, simple room with shower/bath and all necessary extras. Paid the extra for a superbly cooked full english breakfast which was worth every penny catered by caring, friendly and professional staff.

the wifi...but it's wifi, so not a lot to complain about and one can live without it.

Very spacious & comfortable room with a delicious full english breakfast that must be ordered in advance. Our landlady & her staff were very welcoming & pleasant & gave us good advice on places to see in Banbury.

Car parking signage could be improved. There is lots of space around the back of the house/garden but we only noticed this from the breakfast room.

absolutely gorgeous B&B with a fantastic host! Perfectly located to walk into Banbury (although beware it's uphill on the way back!). The cottage itself was absolutely stunning, we stayed in the rafters and the original features were so gorgeous.

There were a few spiderwebs up in the rafters of our bathroom but the rest of the room was clean so it didn't bother us too much! Would probably skip breakfast next time as there are some really lovely restaurants within walking distance!

Excellent, friendly host who made me feel very welcome (just what you want after a long day and a lengthy drive). Breakfast was delicious and I enjoyed the personal touch compared to a hotel. Bed was very comfortable and I had a great nights' sleep. Very comfortable chair in the room which I used to do some work on my laptop. I also found the wi-fi good and able to do what I needed. I left the guest house the next day feeling refreshed and with a spring in my step, ready for the busy day ahead.
