Very well located and very well equipped. We enjoyed our attentive hosts, who worked hard to make our stay perfect.

We stayed over a weekend and at times like this we like to enjoy a long soak in a bath; sadly, there wasn't one. While the main Booking.com page mentioned an en suite bathroom, it was only in the small print that it explained that the bathroom contained only a shower. It's difficult to say whether this is a flaw in the app, but it does feel a curious choice for such a well put-together place. Perhaps they mainly have business guests?

The proprietor, Mike, was exceptionally helpful, friendly, and professional, and his wife was lovely as well. The room was beautiful and so comfortable, but the best thing was the incredible breakfast! It was amazing and everything was on offer. It's the best breakfast we have had whilst on holidays. We would love to stay again at Virginia House in the cute town of Bloxham. A stay there is highly recommended.

If you open the window for some fresh air, it is quite noisy because you are right on the main road going through the village. There wasn't any parking on the premises and you have to park in a side street across the road. Although these things weren't ideal, a stay at Virginia House is still to be highly recommended.

Being one stop in our Cotswalds tour we can compare Virginia House to many more Bed & Breakfast locations, and we will remember it as the best one! Perfect in every sense, the location, the seemingly low key but very well maintained house, the furnishing, the style, the excellent breakfast that was created and served high above our expectations and above all other beakfast experience. The hosts make your stay pleasant and comfortable. We wish to come back sometime and spend more time at Mike and Barbara’s house.

We enjoyed our stay very much as it was a great location for visiting Diddly Squat Farm and also some of the villages like Bourton-on-the water however it is one of the more expensive boutique b and b in the area but worth it

A warm welcome from Mike and Barbara after a long journey was so appreciated and then to open the door to a beautiful, clean room. Hot shower and comfortable bed, I didn’t want to leave! They have thought of all the details any guest could need and these little touches make you feel so looked after. Great brekkie menu, plenty of choice - genuinely best scrambled eggs I have had in the UK! Can’t thank you enough and if I’m in the area again, will be booking Virginia House without hesitation!

Overall our stay was very good. The room was a little small considering the price - but I think that’s more to do with the current climate rather than the owners. The breakfast was delicious and cleanliness of the building in its entirety, was fantastic. Staff, very friendly and helpful.

Rooms a touch small.

Mike and Barbara were the most welcoming of hosts. The room was of a very good size, spotlessly clean, and the bed very comfortable. Small touches of detail were obvious everywhere, to make our stay comfortable. Bath robes, REN toiletries and Gluten free alternative snacks in the room, specifically for my wife. This extended to a perfectly prepared breakfast that had quality and care in both presentation and flavour. Parking is not an issue as there are loads of spaces available around the property. It is a very quiet village after all. Good local pub - The Red Lion, for food, within a minutes walk. Highly recommended B & B

My mum and dad stayed here and said it is the best B&B they've stayed in. They said the hosts were friendly and welcoming without being over the top for example great breakfast service but leaving them in peace to eat and enjoy the meal. They said the breakfast was fantastic with homemade granola and the full breakfast was quality produce.

The only thing my mum mentioned was missing for her was a full length mirror in the room. Which is a very minor issue which would not prevent them from staying again or recommending the B&B.

We stayed at Virginia House en route to London from the Lake District. Unfortunately, our stay was too short! This B&B was one of the best all-around accommodations of our three-week trip to England and Scotland. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the location perfect for our needs, and the breakfast fresh and varied. We had brioche French toast, which was not offered at any other B&B. Mike and Barbara are warm & friendly hosts. If we are able to return on another vacation, Virginia House will be on top of our list!

Unfortunately, a heat wave had hit central England and we were forced to keep the windows open and fan on for the night allowing street noises to disturb our sleep. This heat is very unusual for England, but should probably be kept in mind if booking in the summer. If the climate continues to warm across the globe, accommodations previously not needing A/C will have to consider installing it.

From the moment we made our reservations online until we left the following day the service was exceptional. Mike and Barbara made our stay the best experience we've had staying at hotel or bed and breakfast. We would highly recommend Virginia House Bed and Breakfast to anyone looking for a high quality accommodation at an affordable price. The breakfast was excellent. The quality, taste and presentation of the food was excellent. They offered a nice selection of both food and drinks which made our dining experience very enjoyable in every way.
