It was so beautiful, the gardens were absolutely lovely, so the description of feeling like a country retreat in the city is accurate. The rooms were very tasteful. The garden spa and treatments were exceptionally good. The staff were absolutely lovely. As it was so hot they also provided a Dyson Air Cooler, which was fantastic.

I think I’d have liked a cafetière of coffee or the option to refill myself, but overall breakfast was delicious, the options were great. Mildly disappointed with the outdoor pool area, needs a little tlc as does the steam room. There were tile’s missing and it was very small. They ought to think about an outdoor hot tub, otherwise great.

Beautiful house with furniture to match. Great little pool. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly.

The only problem was that myself and my daughter had planned a treat night away at a spa. We chose this hotel specifically because it provided treatments, unlike many other hotels. Hotel booked, I tried to book the treatments but they weren’t available until August. The hotel was no refundable so I couldn’t rebook. Before you book, if you want spa treatments, check that they’re available.

It’s a bit pricy but bath is on the expensive side, the restaurant staff were a little inattentive bearing in mind dinner for 2 was £320 and breakfast is over priced for what it is and should be in with the room price for cerises and breads - accepted full English is reasonable to charge for but £25 for a bowl of cornflakes and 2 slices of toast is extortionate- good place to stay but just a little overpriced

As a self-proclaimed foodie, I was particularly impressed with the quality and variety of the cuisine offered at The Bath Priory. This restaurant is on its way for its first star I am sure of it. The dishes were exquisitely prepared with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients that burst with flavor and the menu offers something for everyone. The wine selection was also outstanding, and I was thoroughly impressed by the sommelier's knowledge and passion for his craft. Speaking of the sommelier, he truly made my experience at The Bath Priory even more exceptional. He took the time to understand my personal preferences and recommended wines that perfectly complemented my meal. His expertise and warm demeanor were truly appreciated, and I felt incredibly well taken care of. Overall, I cannot recommend The Bath Priory highly enough. Every detail is carefully considered, from the cozy and elegantly appointed guest rooms to the charming grounds and impeccable service. Thank you to the entire staff for making my stay so memorable and special. I look forward to visiting again soon.

Very clean and comfortable in good location for walk into bath . Excellent service from all the staff, beautiful hotel well decorated and furnished . Slept well , bed and pillows very comfortable. We had our room Upgraded ( nice ) but felt we should have expected a room of this standard for what we paid .

Was quite expensive however a very good standard , cooked breakfast of restaurant standard rather than good cafe ( a little dry , poached eggs hard , addition of side of beans or tomatoes would of helped ) we chose to eat out for dinner due to prices . Spa facilities functional rather than luxurious .

The staff were amazing, helpful and friendly. They gave us knowledge on the local area, and facilities about the hotel itself. Also, having an Aircon unit was a godsend.

The room would have been perfect with a small fridge. Hide it in the wardrobe to not distract from the classic décor and it would have been helpful on hot nights. Also, I'd recommend booking far in advance to be able to take advantage of the spa. Was quite disappointed to not be able to experience a massage or facial as the treatments book up in advance.

There is nothing we can say bad about the property. Hotel itself is beautiful, rooms clean and comfy staff helpful and friendly.

The only thing I could say is on the turn down service a thermos of milk could be left in the room, instead of having to call reception every morning. On occasion the wait to be served drinks outside or in one of the lounges was quite long and I had to find someone. But none of the above would stop me going back or recommending this beautiful hotel to family and friends.

The warmreception when we arrived was amazing, the grounds were beautiful We slept a lot so didn’t feel we used it all to it’s full potential The bed and pillows were so comfortable

I’m afraid the breakfast for myself wasn’t great The scrambled egg was dry and too much smoked salmon not very well presented on top of the almost cold eggs and toast

Staff are so friendly, the whole place is relaxed. Lovely spa facilities. Food and drink are amazing.

Only a very minor point but some of the interior carpets and decorations are starting to look just a little tired, in some ways this makes it feel homely and relaxed but as this is our 5th visit over quite a few years we can see things becoming just a little worn... But don't change it TOO much!!

Good breakfast, very friendly and supportive staff, stylish interior, garden. The hotel was closing at 12 after the checkout but allowed us to stay in the lobby a bit longer. I had a birthday and the hotel provided a small L'Occitane set as a gift and birthday muffin.

There is no charger slots even for a hair dryer or phone. You should be very creative and flexible to use the slit suggested for a coffee maker and teapot. In spa there are not only hotel quests but also other people with membership that can make it somewhat crowded
