the wife liked the look and feel of the place, very ostentatious and over the top!

we have never been rushed through a meal like we were on Monday night. We were just finishing a course and the other was turning up. I made a point that it was to quick but it kept on coming. Also we were not the only ones in restaurant and people were behind us on courses so they weren’t looking to close the kitchen. Also, to pay circa £325 per night for the room and then being told the continental breakfast is included but anything hot is charged is absolutely daylight robbery! my advice to anyone, stay somewhere else and go there for a drink and soak up the atmosphere. Beconsfield Is a gorgeous place with some superb restaurants, the Greyhound being one. Stay in Beconsfield and go to the crazy bear for cocktails.

Service charge doesn't go directly to the team, as we heard " they get something of it" so we tipped on top of it as it's not fair! Swimming pool is outside so too cold to use which is not advertised properly.also surrounded by tables for drinks so if you wish to swim you will feel like an animal in zoo, watched by people enjoying drinks.looks really nice but everyone who came in a dressing gown and realised how does it look like,left embarrassed to change.

Food in the English restaurant and the hotel itself was exceptional.

After being told everything was table service in the bar areas we were not once served drinks at the table, staff were not particularly attentive and even after waiting for someone to come to the table we had to go to the bar ourselves and were quite rudely spoken to about it being table service on one occasion, then waited another 15 minutes for drinks. Despite this was charged a £4 service charge per order, including for drinks ordered whilst sitting in the restaurant.

Service was outstanding. The rooms were really well dressed and mind blowing.

Shower in room 5 sprayed everywhere due to fault shower head. At the money spent I felt like the room shouldn't have these minor faults. I think the rooms should have a kettle coffee/tea supplies. I've never been to a hotel that hasn't in fact.

The staff were great and really made us feel welcome. The rooms are clean and the decor everywhere is great!

It would be great if the check-in time was earlier than 4pm. Also hot breakfast isn't included in the room. It's an expensive stay so I would have thought there wouldn't have been an additional charge for this.

The hotel was quirky, fun, glitzy..just very different. staff very friendly.

In some areas it was quite dark. For instance, if you wanted to read the paper/book in your room there wasn’t enough light to do this. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room no fridge or safe.

The venue was amazing and the food was exemplary

We were a little upset with a few things. The price was not cheap, and to have to wait to almost 5 pm to go to our room then having to be checked out by 11 the day you leave I found a little unfair. Also my partner said that the room was lovely but it would have been nice to have a small make up mirror or some lighting . And to not have tea and coffee in the room would be a change I would like .

Whole decor atmosphere was amazing . Felt like I was in another country. Staff were lovely despite the bad review about Thai restaurant the food was absolutely amazing. We had a really noisy neighbour and had to call reception but manager dealt with it ASAP . On out check out tge manager sorted out our remainig bill at a discount price v because of the incident Apart from that it was amazing

I didn't like the fact that service charge was being added on to everything, after complaining to a staff I found out it was discretionary.

The room was stunning! I requested a black room and I have never seen a room quite so beautiful. Food in the Thai was incredible, we did a 10 plate sharing menu and everything was yummy especially the prawn dim sum. Best ive had. Cocktails were amazing, fresh and classy and elegant. The DJ in the bar was a great touch, bit of chill time but good tunes. Breakfast was lovely.

Thai massage, it was lovely but ladies could have smiled or been a little friendlier as a little intimidating. Breakfast, would have been nice for guests who stay at the hotel to have this included especially as a service charge was added to every drink made. Maybe look into having doors put on bathrooms as some people not comfortable with there not being one. The pool, it isnt heated and no one was in it, so felt more of a pool for show rather than use, we didnt use, so a little disappointed, and meant we spent more in the bar.

Staff were so friendly, had a small issue with a voucher I had for cocktails but it was rectified quickly without any fuss. Drinks were great, loved the cosy morrocan themed nooks to chill out in after dinner. Low lighting, beautifully styled and comfortable.

Can't really say I disliked anything, if I'm being picky I'd say I didn't need showing around the room as I'd put some extra touches together and had them set up in the suite for my girlfriends birthday , slightly killed the vibe as she couldn't really react as someone was there showing us how the TV and lights work... but it's a tiny gripe which didn't effect our stay.
