The room was lovely and really well put together, everything was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and they were able to accommodate for dietary requirements. Despite the location (on a busy road) our garden facing room was very quiet and peaceful, with lovely views.

Our room was not ready at check in time- I was told that I had cancelled the day before (I had not), and once I showed them the Booking.com confirmation they tried to get in touch with the owner and cleaners but were unable to. It appeared that something similar had happened before and the staff did not seem happy. We had to wait until after 5 to get into the room. Mistakes happen, but better communication would be beneficial in the future (we were left for a long time looking at other places to stay as they had cancelled the room, which was frustrating)

The pub itself was beautiful, relaxed, comfortable, and welcoming. Beautifully presented bedroom with fabulous views across the valley. We could see the white horse at Westbury! All the staff were very friendly and professional, excellent service throughout our stay. They have limited onsite parking, so we were lucky to get a space right outside. The room was clean and quiet. The pub was busy on a Saturday night full of regulars and visitors. The staff kept up with the service at the bar and in the restaurant, so everyone was catered for. Our food in the restaurant was excellent, a lot better than we were expecting for a pub. The following morning, we had a substantial continental breakfast. The lady serving us was really nice and friendly. ( I wish I had caught her name because she deserves a special mention!)

Communication was a little frustrating with my emails sent through Booking.com not seen, but when I emailed the Castle Inn directly, they replied. We were outside the town, up a steep hill. It suited us for our needs, but it might be an issue if you were planning on walking to and from Bradford on Avon.

Continental breakfast turns out to be full English which was very nice, location excellent for what we wanted as we were visiting a friend in the village, parking was a good addition. The view from the window was supposed to be superb but we couldn't see it due to fog. Brand new bathroom looked amazing. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room together were very welcome and the fruit and cookies were a nice addition. Overall very enjoyable stay.

Breakfast wasn't available until after the chef arrived at 9:30, we would have left if it wasn't for the fact that we promised to meet our friend for breakfast. The only coffee in the room was instant coffee and only decaf it would have been nice to have a Nespresso coffee maker or at least a selection of sachets of dried coffees.

As always Bradford on Avon was beautiful, first time at Castle Inn & like most things in the town it didn't disapoint. The meals were amazing & dinner very competitively priced, great that it's a Free House so plenty of drink choices. Anyone looking for a pet friendly stay....highly recommend. Staff were excellent.

Nice size room, clean, nice bathroom and comfortable bed. Was great to be upstairs in the pub, had dinner and drinks and staff were friendly.

It wasn’t clear that the breakfast was only continental on the weekend but was told that was factored into the price. The breakfast was nice just had expected cooked breakfast but had the option to order.

The room was very clean with great little touches ie biscuits dressing gowns croissants. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing. Make sure you book a table as it is an eating pub and was fully booked.

It could do with a mirror near the sockets for when drying your hair. The room was a tad hot for us but didn’t spoil our stay.

The Castle Inn was very clean and has great staff who go above and beyond their roles, especially Toby and the two female bars staff working on Wednesday evening. The food is of a high quality and cooked fresh to order.

Everything, the room was airey, comfortable, clean and big, the food was excellent, we stayed for the evening meal and we would recommend anybody staying do the same, really lovely food, the breakfast was first class, And to top it all it was a CAMRA good beer pub.

Easy access to Bath by hourly bus service.

Located on a mini roundabout so access to the parking area was difficult at busy times. The bathroom was clean and facilities acceptable but in need of a refresh.

Lovely big room and comfy bed. Bottled water in room as well as usual tea and coffee. Food was excellent, both dinner and breakfast.

Located at the top of a hill going out of town. 5 minute walk downhill into town but we got a taxi back. Definitely worth the £4.50.
