The moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome! the staff were so friendly and complimentary.. Explained everything about the hotel/our room and breakfast etc.. Special touches were made to my room as it was a birthday trip. Our room had the best view. I loved gazing at the sea/pier and taking in the sights.. The breakfast had plenty of choice and options. (thanks for the gluten free toast! ).. Although the weather was gorgeous and hot, the fan in the room was appriciated! We got the sun rays right up to sunset.. Amazing.. The towels and bed linen were fresh and cozy.. The Sea Spray is a 20 min walk from the train station, and only 5 mins walk to the beach! Amazing.. So many shops/restaurants and bars are all within a couple of mins walk.. The town centre has plenty to offer and The Lanes is wonderful for a unique bite to eat or to buy something a bit different.. We will be back. Thank you so much x

I am in love in this place. Location was perfect, a few minutes walk from the beach and city center. Very friendly and helpful staff. Also they help us with the parking which was very close to the hotel. The room was not a modern, but very cosy and has its own style. We would like to come back to this city and stay in this hotel.

I stayed in the New York Penthouse. It was much larger than I was expecting and a lovely room. There was a jacuzzi bath, which I hadn't realised - a fantastic addition. Water, tea, coffee and biscuits were provided in the room. The bed was large and comfortable. The breakfast is at The Charm hotel a couple of doors up the road. The breakfast was lovely and the breakfast room is beautifully decorated. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I would recommend the hotel and would stay again.

It was fine for me, but there were 50 narrow steps up to the penthouse, so be aware of that if you have any mobility issues!

The most attentive staff I have ever had the pleasure to deal with words can not discribe the how much happiness the assistant manager Daniela provided me never before have I experienced such quality of service I will be telling people for years to come I felt the love. Daniela prepared the room for my girlfriends birthday upon my requests she has now set a standard for all hotels Daniela thank you. Everything was clean and beautiful.

I requested breakfast in room the service was ok but breakfast was terrible I was given a cheese plate with no crackers and about 8 green grapes not worth the money with harvester so close offering unlimited and much better quality. But I was told there was an issue with the kitchen hobs not working correctly but honestly as this is my first time ever having room service it was beyond let down low quality food hard pouched eggs tasteless no sauces of any kind beans tiny just the worst part of the whole experience I would stay but never order breakfast again.

We booked a room last minute due to a problem we had in another location, and this hotel was what we needed - and much more. Starting from the kindness and hospitality of the staff, who took great care of us - provided us with water, an adaptor, a map of the city and many useful tips and recommendations - to the cleanliness of the room tidied daily for us, to not forget the beautiful view of the sea and pier every day going out. Breakfast was included and absolutely delicious - not huge in selection but the quality of it was just top notch. To not mention the cute surprise during the weekends that we very much appreciated. We cannot recommend the Sea Spray enough, and we are very thankful to have spent our Brighton time here - it will stay in our hearts forever.

We stayed in the Superior Double Room with Sea View and loved it. The hotel was clean, tidy and well presented. We had a warm welcome at the check in desk after ringing the bell to enter, check in was quick and easy, we were given a key to the front door so that we could let ourselves in and out of the property late at night which we planned to do so as we came for a festival, we were also given a key to our bedroom and were told the rules of the hotel aswell as given a phone number for any emergencies. Our room had excellent facilities including a flat screen tv that had plenty of channels for entertainment and netflix and youtube, aswell as a mini fridge, iron, ironing board, high power fan, a balcony, complimentary snacks and drinks and shower gels/shampoos/conditioners. We would definitely stay here again, in fact we ended up staying another night after this however the room we stayed in next didn’t beat this room, I would recommend staying here and would recommend getting the superior double room as it is definitely better.

The only fault I would comment on about this hotel would be that the mattress was not as comfortable as my usual bed as I think that it was a spring mattress, other than that the hotel was perfect.

A very lovely welcome on arrival from Danielle at the Sea Spray, this little gem well located in Kemp Town, within walking distance to the town centre and lanes. Nice and stylish reception areas. Very clean, bright and airy room - we were lucky to be upgraded to the Inspirational Suite with a great view of the pier. The bed was very comfy and we had a great nights sleep. We love Brighton but have been very letdown over the year’s with grotty air BnB’s or overpriced hotel rooms. At last we have found a reasonably priced, decent place to stay and we are looking forward to returning next time we are in town.

The location of this hotel was absolutely ideal. About a 5 minute walk from the Brighton Pier. Only 20 minutes walk (downhill) from Brighton Train station. If I return to Brighton I would definitely stay here again. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful at all times. I arrived at 1pm and while check in time was 3pm, I was told my room might only take 30 minutes to an hour to be ready. I left my bad at reception and when I returned at 3pm it had already been placed in my room. I also had problems with my phone and the reception staff (at The Charm, the sister hotel two doors up - this reception is manned more often than the one at Sea Spray but this isn't an inconvenience) were very friendly and helpful. I was allowed to use the phone to make a call and the computer to connect with family after losing my phone. This was invaluable as a solo traveller. Bed was large and comfortable.

Shower and toilet room were very small, but not enough to spoil the room. TV only had two working channels and radio but this didn't matter to me either.

This was my second time visiting Sea Spray, Daniella remembered me and make the experience alot more personal and was also given a free room upgrade. I loved all the breakfast options and everything was super straightforward and clean. As a solo traveller I felt so comfortable and safe plus with Sea Spray being a short walk into central bright and a 2 min walk to the beach I couldn't has asked for anything better!
