Spotlessly clean. Nice toiletries. Well equipped with kettle, microwave, fridge and coffee machine. Very comfortable bed with nice linens provided. Lovely touches with the biscuit and coffee selection. Close to shops and restaurants in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. Contactless checkin and out was really easy and Katherine promptly answered every question. Thanks, Katherine.

The only thing we could comment on is the size of the shower which is a little small. Could have done with a bit more storage space. But these are very small quibbles about a really good place.

Breakfast is optional and we didn't have it. Fridge and tea/coffee faciltiies provided which was great. Very easy to access property. Communication from owners was very good thought no face to face interaction with them. Property very clean and well kept including the garden. Quiet and peaceful.

Room I had was very small, slightly below ground with low ceiling - I'm slightly claustrophobic so not ideal. I should have asked beforehand

We felt very comfortable. We especially liked: the comfortable bed, the fresh roses, the many USB ports, the good Wi-Fi, the cleanliness, the calm. We also appreciated the continuous supply of milk, coffee, tea, etc.. And for us as coffee drinkers, the French press was great. Check in and out as well as communication with the hosts was uncomplicated and very friendly. Due to the good bus connection to the city we were very mobile even without a car. Thank you for everything!

A great find - very easy. I had a late check in so liaised directly with the owner who sent me the door code. Room was tidy and clean - everything I needed was there, including a fan and an ironing board which I didn't need to ask for.

My only comment is that I would have expected fruit with the breakfast - but the pastries were delicious! I annoyingly forgot my toothpaste so expected a miniature one, which there wasn't, but this was my fault not the accommodations.

Excellent communication from Steven re parking and entry details. A lovely quiet location. The room was spotlessly clean with a fridge(containing milk and water), microwave, cutlery & crockery and a welcome tray with teas, coffees & biscuits (placed in the windowsill behind the privacy curtain). The bed was very comfortable with a great choice of pillows, and with blackout blinds leads to a very good nights sleep. Would highly recommend and will definitely return again in the future.

Nice room if a bit neat (partner had to crawl down the bed to get out!). Quiet and peaceful. Nicely decorated. Enjoyed the tea and cookies. Had to walk 10 mins to a Tesco for breakfast but it was a fine morning so that was OK. Daughter was next door and I think she was also happy with her accommodation. A short taxi hop into town so reasonably easy to get to and from the hotel.

We couldn't figure out how to turn off the screen at night - in the end, we draped a coat over it.

Ferndale Mews was in a very good location for our visit. The property was nicely presented and our room was clean with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was small, with a very tight shower but the shower was powerful & hot. Breakfast was left ahead for us in the room and was a good offer for these circumstances, although you do end up sitting on the bed to eat it. The nature of the property is to communicate remotely with the owners, who we didn't see during our stay, but their communication was good & helpful so that access, and parking, was straightforward.

Easy parking on the street. The rooms were really clean. The beds were comfy. There was water and milk and a fridge etc. Biscuits and chocolates which were replenished the next day !

One of the showers was slightly small but we fitted it fine. Some people may not like the fact that you have to go up and down steps to get to the entrance but it was fine for us. We plan to stay again

Very clean and above expectations for a guesthouse. Easy access using codes and great communication with the owner when we needed to check in late. Room itself was compact but completely functional and very comfortable. Fridge, small crockery selection, water and milk provided, coffee machine, TV hairdryer, toiletries all included. We stayed to be near friends before their wedding so location was perfect for us. Easy Street parking and close walk into the village for amenities. We stayed for such a short time but would happily recommend and stay again.

The Appt was modern and exceptionally clean with fresh milk provided daily. The host was very friendly and accommodating. The beds were comfortable, and the area was very quiet, which guaranteed a good night sleep. The location was perfect for what we needed it. There is a bus station a couple of minutes away with regular buses that take you to the city centre.
