The breakfast was good and the terrace for having a quiet drink outside was excellent As we were down in the area to attend a dog show the facilities for walking the dogs was excellent and set up for this

We ate in the Riverside restaurant and were very disappointed with firstly the menu and then with the quality of the food i had the slow cooked belly pork which was ok but came with no crackling which i was told that the chefs couldn't get it right which did not impress as it wasn't cheap . My wife had risotto again she wasn't happy with what she had i would advise having a bar meal which were much better value for money

We liked everything about this hotel , it was very clean in the rooms and the staff were so friendly and helpful . The place was packed with different groups of people , spa break guests , car convention etc and never once did you feel ignored or have to wait to long for anything at the bar , restaurant etc . It was a little busy at breakfast over the weekend with so many people there but we were relaxed about that and went a little later . The breakfast food was good and plentiful and we ate one night at the bar and food again was great . We used the spa and our treatments and staff were very good . The pool and gym were also very clean , small pool but ok for a relaxing swim . Would most definitely recommend the hotel for all ages .

The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff were friendly and professional.

The bed was very hard, even with a mattress topper. Not enough disabled parking spaces and it was a long walk from other parking spaces back to the reception. This is not helpful to customers with mobility issues like myself. The shower is fixed and this causes huge problems for women as we cannot easily wash or rinse our private parts (unless you’re able to stand on your head.). There needs to be a hose attached or a flannel provided for women. There were several conventions taking place and the hotel was extremely busy so asking reception a question and checking in and out took longer than I would have liked. Breakfast very expensive considering everything is self-service and pre-cooked.

Lovely hotel very handy location for our travels clean rooms good size nice garden and outside area good breakfast in nice restaurant .would stay again to break journey down south for a good night's sleep

The bath in room extremely difficult to get into .my 83 year old mother certainly could not get Into Bath for her shower..would benefit also to have a shower to hold as well as rainfall static shower . Food evening quite slow service we had a young child and asked for it quickly but waited a while ...starters great but mains not as good . Pork great ..duck too salty

Beds were comfortable and the room was nicely presented. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The bathroom was lovely, bright and clean. We had a nice view of the garden from our window.

The photos of the room were not what we got. There is some refurbishment going on - this didn't impact our stay but we must have got a room that has not yet been refurbished. We had the option to upgrade to a refurbished room after we had booked through booking.com The room could have been cleaner - there was a ball of hair on the floor and a splash of coffee up one of the walls. Overall the bathroom and beds were clean/neat but just needed a little more attention to detail. The WiFi was quite slow but I think that was due to the location of our room as it was fine in other areas.

Friendly and helpful at reception and reasonably good value for money. Location was handy for getting to Kenilworth castle which was the main reason for stopping off here. Found a local pub (The Anchor) which did very good, reasonably priced food. Large car park - we wanted a hotel with parking on-site.

We were in a standard attic room that hadn’t been refurbished. The air-con didn’t work, though there was a fan. We slept with a window open which kept it cool but we could hear the noise from the air-con units outside. Drinks were expensive. Had to ask for a bath mat as the bath with shower over is very slippery.

I was really pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Given the "good" rating, I wasn't expecting much and left wondering why it didn't have a higher rating! When we arrived the staff were incredibly friendly, there was a jar of free doggie biscuits at reception and so I took one for my dog. The room was spacious, the bathroom very much so - bigger than average. Everything was all very clean, apart from 2 items that I thought were overlooked, there was still water in the kettle from the previous guests' stay and the glasses in the fridge were dirty. Other than that, the room was fantastic and I say fantastic because we obviously had a doggie friendly room, which shows the hotel had considered our needs. We were able to open a door on the other side of the room which led out to a large grassy area, lots of doggie bins too. It was great having this right on our doorstep. The food was okay, I do admit it wasn't anything special. Saying this, my husband and I are both vegan so our choices were limited, Harley (our dog) devoured bacon and sausages, so those get her seal of approval. My husband and I had a great selection at breakfast and this was probably our best meal. For lunch and dinner the food just didn't taste great I'm afraid. We had pizza, vegan burgers and chips and we also tried the vegan wrap. Out of all of these, the chips were the best thing. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, probably the friendliest I've come across and they really helped make our stay.

For me, it would be the breakfast arrangements. We can't take our dog with us to the restaurant, which is fair enough, but this is where they serve all the food. So I had to play waitress and go back and forth numerous times from the restaurant to the lounge area, carrying food for me, my husband and dog. It would be better if they had a section just by the restaurant so people don't have to walk so far between places.

Room was well equipped and comfortable We were a large group and staff were attentive and efficient. Unfortunately we were split over 2 tables rather than be together for a birthday diner celebration. The dining room was no means full so perhaps we should have been rearranged even though we did show our disappointment it was not possible. Breakfast was extremely busy and staff found it difficult to replenish the buffet. The food was good. A member of staff organised the seating in the bar for us to retire to after our meal. We were a group of 14! Well done the bar staff!

As above. Our table arrangement and breakfast queues. Food was ok but not what I call restaurant standard but perfect acceptable.

The hotel is very welcoming, clean & also very large but not impersonal. The staff were friendly and polite. We had a twin room which was a good size, beds really comfy & bathroom very nicely decorated and huge ! The room was very clean and looked like it had been recently refurbished. The designers certainly knew how to make use of the space without impacting the room. We had complimentary bottles of water left in the fridge each day Breakfast was really good, a self service buffet but everything fresh, hot & frequently refilled. Really good selection & quality Shout out to Elliot who made really good spritzers! The hotel is very dog friendly & dogs are welcome in most areas, lots of greenspace for walks around the hotel as well Look forward to staying again

The restaurant evening meals were disappointing and overpriced, in fact the burger I had on the first night was worse than a mcdonalds. You also need to book well in advance as although the restaurant may not be full, if there are functions taking place it can impact the restaurant, we saw a sign after breakfast saying restaurant was already fully booked that evening. The spa lounging area is quite compact & in the summer holidays there are children's splash times so the pool isn't always quiet & relaxing.

Breakfast- various choices available, all fresh. definitely recommended breakfast even for fussy. Perfect view to start the day in relaxed mood. Room- good size, space to continue work, good wifi, very comfortable bed. Dinner- very nice , fresh and well presented. Staff very nice and lovely. Overal hotel is stunning, smell very nice which makes you more at home and welcome

Check in- very disappointed with staff. Rather continue chatting with one of the gest instead let check in new guests with heavy bags after difficult day. Than received the last room and the card did not work to enter to facilities. During the dinner time the facilities were very cold.
