This Hotel is very good value for money and exceeded our expectations (4th floor, facing inland). Only 10 minute walk from the Marina Restaurants. City Centre around 2 miles away and wasn't an issue for us. Some nice touches, such as: shared door between the bathroom and toilet; good long table, giving more space to put things; good size twin beds; plenty of tea/coffee and even biscuits; open plan bar and restaurant area looks welcoming; spacious, quiet room; very clean with no obvious areas needing touch ups.

Corridors are a little stuffy and could do with more air going through them. One of the reception staff (foreign chap) wasn't particularly helpful when asking for some local advice (fobbed us off). Other staff were friendly.

The room was spacious. The bed was comfortable so we had a good night sleep.

When we checked in the room we were given the room where the duvet cover was not changed . It was full of creases and few stain. Had to get the room service lady who was just doing other rooms and she admitted that it wasn’t changed due to not enough time after the previous guest left, apologised and then did all of it, while we waited. We had 2 rooms , in the other room the robe and the slippers were not there as per the hotel amenities so had to be requested which they did and again apologised for missing them. Over all the stay was okay. We had to pay for the bottles of water when we needed more. Only 2x small bottle 500ml was provided, for a family.

We loved the double twin beds, that was a great feature of a twin room. Also loved the bottles of water and biscuits each day from housekeeping. It's also close to restaurants and Cardiff Bay is about a 10 min walk with more shops and restaurants. The free parking was also great.

The shower pressure was a bit hit and miss but we did report this to reception. The shower curtain was also a little grubby towards the bottom. Also, one day, housekeeping didn't fully close our door. Luckily nothing happened (I think because we were at the end of a corridor). We did report this though and are happy it's being dealt with. The toilet was one that came out of the wall, rather than attached to the floor, and some of the tiles were cracked behind, so felt like it wasn't entirely safe to sit on.

I've stayed several times when on business in the area and have just booked again. I like the room with sofa. The staff are lovely, plenty of easy free parking, nice food at sensible prices, decent reliable wifi for working, spacious clean rooms and comfortable bed. The windows actually open! I don't like being forced to use aircon and then be cooked or frozen overnight but I do like fresh air. Also, the tap doesn't come right out over the sink, so it can be used for more than hand washing, without wondering if you're about to smash your face on it. Nice touches like water, robe and biccies remain, when many other hotels seem to be charging more for less. For me, it's these little practical things that make a comfortable difference, especially if you have to spend multiple nights away from home.

Fantastic place situated close to town centre and Cardiff Bay just 5 minutes walk from hotel wit massive selection of bars, restaurants and family fun places. Bar and restaurant situated on ground floor with great selection of food and drinks when morning we have fantastic breakfast with excellent selection of food and fabulous coffee. We have fantastic bank holiday weekend spend in this place. Definitely worth coming back and recommending.

Just disappointed that we been not able to have Sunday lunch there- been told that is fool booked but for 2 hours of lunch time resultant was empty so we went somewhere else.

We stayed to watch the rugby international. A bit more information at Reception as to walkig times, buses and taxis with costs would have been helpful. Also £15.00 for breakfast was a bit pricey so ours was just the room for the night. Room was very comfortable. One observation we enjoyed Yorkshire tea in our room and wondered why the hotel isn't providing Welsh tea? However, I do like Yorkshire tea! I have already recommended the hotel to family and friends and it was easy to find too. I'll definitely be back!

Breakfast included for the £109.00 each would have moved a good deal to a great deal!

Location was convenient for us. We had everything we need .

Despite of paying full amount paid during Check-In. When I woke up on 21st July this morning, £317.70 was taken from my credit card again without my consent. when I spoke to manager, she refund that money saying Error from their side. At time of check-out Duty manager said everything is OK. As I reached home there is another transaction of £4.00 noticed . I called reception, They told me £2 for water bottles. £2 extra given to me during refund so manager decided to charge me without my consent. I paid full amount in advance, she has only refund same £317.70. So where that extra come from? I stayed 2 nights.

We stay here quite often because the hotel shows a positive attitude to visitors (not all similar hotels do!). Also seems very family friendly. The hotel site is readily accessible from the motorway (J33), car parking is excellent and included, and we can go into the Bay or Cardiff easily to shop or see shows. Rooms are spacious and everything works. Water, biscuits, laundry facilities, ice bucket etc are nice touches. Breakfast was good value with plenty of choice and no queues. . The price is within any similar budget hotel.

Genuinely nothing to report on this trip! Good value, budget price and friendly service.

I really liked the size of the room we stayed in, we have two kids (one in a cot) so having room to move around was amazing. We were missing towels and couldn't figure out the TV but the staff helped us very quickly, and our towels arrived plush and warm. We were in a top floor room which meant the view was lovely, train station and bay were just a few minutes walk. Downstairs restaurant was decent for breakfast and dinner.

Decor could do with a bit of a facelift but at the end of the day it's a hotel room and you only sleep, maybe chill there for a bit.

The room was very spacious. The beds were exceptionally comfy, would love to know where they are purchased from. The best 2 nights sleep I've had for months. Powerful shower which was great. The 2 men behind the bar Saturday night were such lovely guys, very polite, willing to chat as they poured the drinks. The one had the most fabulous nails. This is the second time staying in Cardiff Bay Future Inn and will 100% book another stay next time I'm there.

Only one niggle, there are no instructions in the room on how to get a channel on the TV. Took half an hour and a call to reception to sort it out.
