The staff are fantastic. Very friendly! couldnt do enough!!! And we absolutely love that!!! What an excellent team! Facilities fantastic. - spa facilities available which was a bonus!! Would perhaps like to see discount in the shed restaurant for hotel customers! Spend £120 on dinner and breakfast for two adults and a baby. Breakfast could be included again a bit pricey! But couldn’t fault the food. Excellent!! Quiet night sleep. Great entertainment in the bar family friendly!

Not the cleanest. Bathroom 438. Under the shower door and by the kitchen appliances not the cleanest. Neither was the carpet. With dried mud. The decor esp on floor 4 needs a desperate makeover. Ripped wall paper filler ext. although it didnt effect our stay directly the price we paid id expect the hotel to be tip top! Cleaning on the ledge in the lift on floor floor it utterly disgusting dead flies dust dirt absolutely needs to be a priority to be cleaned. Windows throughout the hotel needs to be cleaned also. Again not directly affect out stay but with a baby id like to see facilities clean.

The room was enormous, very clean, nice building. Lovely staff. Gutted I didn’t have time for the leisure facilities and they look lush. Over all great stay and would recommend

The location was a bit weird but then I don’t know Cardiff, it seemed more like an industrial estate rather than city centre. So maybe for anyone without transport this would be a bit inconvenient. I also thought parking was included, which it wasn’t, which is fine. The charge just seemed a little random £10 a night (that wasn’t stated on any of the parking signs haha) but overall it was a great hotel for a great price as I saw how much it was to stay one night and the basic room was just under £500 and I paid about £80 so no real complaints!

beautiful building with stunning decor and original features

Staff were not apologetic when I had to return to the front desk after a trip out and had gone up in the lift with my disabled daughter because our door key card had been incorrectly set for a one night stay so we couldn’t access our room. To the female staff member it was merely the wrong card given but I had to leave my daughter in the upstairs hallway to return myself to sort it. also there are no signs advising how to operate the jacuzzi so we just sat in it unoperational. It was my daughter’s birthday. There are no staff in the pool area to ask.

Friendly staff and a good location for either the city centre or the Dock area. EV charging was very convenient and easy to use. The quality of the cooked breakfast was good and generally very clean.

Although I appreciate they are trying to reduce plastic waste with the jam dispenser the quality of the jam was very poor. Why not use Wilkin and Sons Tiptree jam which is plastic free and fully recyclable. Also one morning our room wasn't cleaned which may have been staffing issues as before it had been OK.

Gorgeous room, we were upgraded to a terraced room. Spectacular views. Everything was clean and neatly presented. Breakfast was delicious. Everything was hot and fresh. The pool was a massive hit with the kids and our fur babies wasn't left out at all! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed and well definitely be returning.

There wasn't much to not like, but there was a slight problem with our room service order. They sent up an extra pizza ( and charged us for it) but I didn't realise until the gentleman left. When I pointed this out on what's app to the staff, no one got back to me. Just an acknowledgement would have been nice

The room it was spacious and at the end of a corridor so very quiet. It was really comfortable and clean with great facilities coffee machine fridge Bluetooth speaker.Breakfast was great good quality ingredients. The pool jacuzzi sauna and steam room were really nice. Staff were great really helpful and informative. We needed to get to the motorpoint area and they provided a map and clear directions of the best way to get there and accurate timings. They also gave the children a little toy which went down well

In the absence of the towel bin in the pool changing rooms area on the second evening other guests had thrown towels all over the floor not the hotels fault

Room was lovely, as were the staff. We got it at an amazing price too through this site! Pool and spa great but a bit of a free-for-all at times with lots of families using it at the same time and allowing children to use the jacuzzi / sauna etc (no lifeguard in attendance which was fine for us but a bit crazy at peak times - beginning of the Easter break though, so I guess to be expected. Breakfast good - and it was a bonus that the kids ate for free.

Sofa bed quite small so would only recommend it for 2 young children sharing (my 12 and 10 year old argued all night 😂) Unable to control temperature of the room so it was pretty hot overnight, compared to communal areas which were freezing due to the air con - no doubt great in summer but chilly in April. Public toilets at reception level were also poor - 4 cubicles, 1 out of order, 1 filled to the brim with toilet paper etc, and the other 2 with broken locks. Bit of a surprise considering everywhere else appeared spotless.

Room has all the amenities. Spacious. Good bath and shower. Lovely extras in the room, especially the rituals shower and hair wash. Staff very friendly. Lovely sized pool. Kids thoroughly enjoyed it. Good location. Queen Street Station is the closest station which can get a direct train to Cardiff bay, not even on it 10 mins. Walkin distance from the city centre. Plenty of shops, restaurants and bars around.

Food and drink abit pricey. Not really kids eating free at breakfast when per paying adult it's £18 for buffet breakfast.

Staff were very helpful and cheerful. Food was delicious. Location was perfect for children. Pool and gym facilities was excellent. Parking was free if you take Accor membership. I already had membership but expired so the staff was a big help.

Lift was a bit busy because one was out of order at some point but we didn't mind as we have a young family who loves taking stairs anyway. The room was very presentable and clean. I would recommend though wall pegs in the bathroom to hang your clothes/jacket or bag whilst using the toilet and places to hang wet towels to let them dry to avoid asking for a fresh ones.

I like that the pool, sauna and gym facilities were open from 7am to 10pm. The gym area was quiet and relaxing. I enjoyed the breakfast. The staff were great. They always had smiles.

My bathroom sink was smelly and the fumes came out whenever someone used the sink. The furniture in my room needed some glue. The edge on the MDF furniture was peeling off and there was a gaping hole on top of the dresser. Both issues were reported but it was not sorted.
