Lovely location, good communication from the owner Dafydd, when we arrived the room was clean and cosy, Dafydd had pre-emptively put the heating on ready for our arrival so it was nice and toasty which was a lovely welcome given the cold, rainy and very windy winter welsh weather! Breakfast was lovely, tea and coffee facilities in the room. Location is in a little village that has wild sheep and horses just roaming around unbothered which we thought was idyllic. Little pub round the corner for a hot evening meal or lunch. Beautiful walks in the area. It was so windy that the skylight window blew open, we messaged Dafydd and he was there within 2 minutes to get it shut for us. Couldn't fault him or our stay.

Tv ariel didn't work but we didn't mention it as we really didn't care, we genuinely loved our stay and enjoyed the peace and quiet! We put it down to the awful weather and howling wind outside but might be worth checking for the next customers.

You can never depend on our Welsh weather, but with hosts like Dafydd and Jackie, they certainly make your stay happy and welcoming. The room I had Llyrlys was extremely welcoming and homely with a really lovely bathroom and bed . I'm so looking forward to more visits . The breakfast was locally sourced and delicious. They are engaging and happy hosts plenty of knowledge about local area and further a field . Im sure they wanted me to stop asking so many questions but never showed it . I'll miss the yummy bacon and that bath, omg ... thank you 😊

Even though the weather was challenging, it's all about the effort you make yourself for a super much needed break . I have no negatives ... just wish I could go back sooner..

Loved the spacious room and decor, underfloor heating and comfy bed. Plenty of choice for breakfast and appreciated that local produce was used. Peaceful village location with local walks and near the sea. There was a pub 5 minutes walk away which served good meals.

We are both in our 70s and struggled with hand shower as we had to kneel in bath to wash. We would have preferred a walk-in shower.

We liked everything about our stay. Excellent Room, Excellent Breakfast, Dafydd the owner is very friendly and very entertaining. Location is walking distance to the Kings Head so you have a local for food and a drink. The beautiful beach at Llangennith gives you a lovely walk to Rhossili.

No local taxi available on a Sunday evening and we had to go to a wedding party, so we had to pay for a taxi to come from Oyster Cabs in the Mumbles to take us from Llangenith to Fairyhill a distance of no more than 5 miles and we were charged £40 to take us there and £45 to return as we were picked up at midnight.

The room was excellent. Bed was comfortable and the wet room shower was very good. Had the cooked breakfast each day and was not disappointed - just the right amount of good food. Really good location for this part of The Gower. Take some time to talk to Dafydd (your host) at breakfast.

Nothing to dislike.

Everything was fine. No difficulties. Bedroom was comfortable and bedding was very clean and fresh. Breakfast was good, Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. Soft water. Lovely location.

It could have been clearer there was no shower, just a bath with hair shower. Also the bathroom floor was not as clean as it could be. We had to find free local maps in Rhossilli.

This is my second stay at Blas Gwyr. Second time as I really rated it from my first experience. The B&B is lovely. It's been renovated perfectly. Rooms are high quality and comfortable. The location is a short walk to Rhossili and Broughton beaches, or a very short car journey. The little village of llangennith is picturesque. Good pub! Dafydd and staff are all so friendly and efficient. Several breakfast options and a comfy little breakfast room to eat in.

No negatives for me.

Friendly host. Very nice location with several things including a pub with good food were within walking distance. The road to the nearby beach & holiday park is very narrow, but locals seem to expect walkers. Breakfast was very good. Bathroom & shower were very nice.

I would have loved a map of the area walking paths (through the fields). Google map just isn't very helpful for rambling walking paths.

Daffyd, the owner, was very welcoming and gave us helpful advice on the local area. The breakfast was wonderful and the local pub was a lovely 10 minute walk away. We particularly enjoyed the walk across the National Trust estate at Rhossili. Views to die for, wonderful horses roaming freely on the steep cliff top slopes and stunning scenery. Do not miss this!

Nothing!

Location as perfect

Each morning there was a mix up over breakfast. First morning despite knowing I was gluten free I was given 'normal' toast that resulted in my not being well, when mentioned this was brushed off and no apology given. This was not the host but someone who has helping them.
