The room was absolutely wonderful and smart. We did not have toothpaste in the room but that was provided once we asked for it. I loved the spa facilities and had a great and friendly hospitality by the staff.

I only did not like that we had to pay for the spa facilities while we already had a room booked in the hotel.

Staff were exceptionally helpful and did everything very quickly to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I raised the do not disturb sign had disappeared, the breakfast order tag, tea was not replenished. Somebody came up from reception within 10 mins to deal with all of this. This is one example, anything raised was dealt with immediately. The staff in reception, spa and restaurant made this stay exceptional for me.

The TV was not great, very old sky. BBC 1 volume did not work. Needs upgrading quite soon as there should be more than 5 channels and a way to connect to laptop, apps, but at minimum a lot more channels, the Sky ones should be available. I worked quite a lot in my room and therefore would have benefited from this. It would also mean I could use the hotel in future when I need a break from London and could work from there while utilising the hotels facilities, i.e. spa.

room was adequate with large bed and temperature just right for us The massages in the spa were wonderful breakfast - NA evening meals were good and the staff very very friendly and helpful the highlight of our stay was being able to sit out about 9:30pm in the lovely lit garden. Of course the weather was excellent during stay. We would certainly stay there again

The sink in the bathroom was too high and positioned too far back. Because of it's position it sprayed our clothes with water each time we turned the tap on. It would have been helpful to have two case stands For some reason it wasn't possible to have the bedside lights on without the other lights in the room.

Very clean, friendly staff, comfortable stay. Convenient parking, lovely dining areas. Good breakfast, good arrangement. Very good outside eating, drinking area. Gardens well kept & maintained. Very good spa, thermal & swimming pool etc. & we’ll organised by staff.

A BIG NEGATIVE……. unfortunately the Hotel is not in an ideal position being located just off a busy DUAL CARRIAGEWAY!!! Decided to leave the car at the hotel. Although a public bus stop is just outside the entrance to the hotel, the return bus stop is opposite the entrance!!! Very dodgy & dangerous crossing the road. An accident waiting to happen. A safe crossing should be made asap.

everything was spot on the bed room was spacious and the bed was a super king which was a bonus ,the spa was brilliant which you have to pay for as an addition which was well organised so it was never overcrouded or to busy ,we had food in the resteraunt which was delicious and the staff were attentive without being over attentive, everything was spot on a very relaxed atmosphere ,and plenty of parking for able bodied and disabled, would definitely rate this hotel just far enough out of town and just a quick bus ride or taxi drive ,will definately stay again ,thank you for a relaxed stay

breakfast could have been better ,i love bacon and sausage and could have done with a bit more colour when cooked but other than that everything was spot on

hotel is absolutely stunning, we paid for a deluxe room and it was honestly unbelievable. we traveled for my birthday and the hotel out banners on the door and balloons in the room and on the bed and 2 voucher for 2 drinks free to celebrate my birthday. I honestly couldn’t fault the hotel staff or the room. the food isn’t the greatest but we didn’t let it bring the weekend down. honestly would recommend

the food isn’t the greatest, I thought it had 2 restaurants as online it says a garden terrace and Al a carts but the is only 1 restaurant and it doesn’t have a great choice of foods. I had a pasta with no cream sauce as the was nothing to cater for dairy free & not great for vegetarians neither. had the chicken and chorizo pasta with no cream sauce and it come out dry pasta with no chicken and lots of chorizo drizzled oil ontop so the oil just sat in the bottom of the bowl. lucky enough I had garlic bread but honestly only the food let’s this down

This was our 3rd stay. Great location and the junior suit layout is brilliant with the swivelling TV. The spa is get for relaxing. Breakfast is well worth paying the extra for - it’s the best I’ve had at any hotel.

sofa bed wasn’t much use as a sofa. the cushions kept falling off and it wasn’t very deep. phone was disconnected when we tried room service. would have thought the phone would have been part of some sort of daily room check. it was a mess about trying to get the phone working as it required a login code. went to reception and they sorted it straight away.

The overall feel of the hotel was very welcoming and all the staff were super friendly. The bar and restaurant was properly the best I have eaten at in a hotel and the quality of the food was worth every penny. However we did feel very uncomfortable with the manager on the Friday 7th standing at the bar just staring at the bar staff and not helping for most of the time we were there. Then again in the morning at breakfast. It was a shame because all the staff were trying there very best and were going above and beyond. A nice extra for me was that they had a nice cider on tap which most bars in general don't have so that was great, even to have just one choice on tap.

As stated above the only thing we didn't agree with was the way the manager behaved around customers

Lovely hotel. Well maintained. Comfortable rooms, everything smelled really nice. I was surprised with a warm welcome cookie on my check in (really nice cookie!). Staff is lovely and really helpful. Surroundings are beautiful.

Shocked to find out that they chare you £20.00 PER DAY to use the gym. The most you would pay for a gym day pass, in LONDON, is about 9 (average). The excuse is because of the spa and they can't control who uses the spa and who uses the gym. Still find it a bit excessive that hotels guests have to fork out an unreasonable amount to use the gym. I travel to the area often and always pick an hotel with a gym. I would love to stay here again but, due to the unreasonable charge, I wouldn't. It's a real shame

The cookie on arrival was lovely and they had fulfilled my request for decorating the room (additional cost) it looked lovely and my partner was made up. I would stay again for the room, not the staff.

The breakfast wasn’t great, it didn’t taste very nice and most things were hard due to being sat out for so long. The pastries were nice though. The staff at the bar however weren’t very personable well at least not to my partner and I. We noticed they had spoken to everyone when going up to the bar for drinks apart from us. Also they ignored taking our orders despite us being sat near the bar where they could see us waiting. When we asked for the lunch menu, we were waiting 20 minutes before having to go and get someone for us to actually order. Staff at reception were okay, not that friendly but did the job.
