The cottage was really lovely and clean and Anthony the host was very accommodating and very hospitable.
The only minor issues my friends and I had were that the beds were a bit small and a bit hard. The other problem was being so near a main road, which was always busy during the day AND evening. It was sometimes quite difficult to find and turn into the road to the house (particularly at night) and also getting out onto the main road.

We were welcomed by Anthony and shown up to our room. There was a bowl of delicious fresh fruit awaiting us. Anthony pointed out the route we could follow for a walk up the hill into nearby woods. The excellent breakfast was presented according to our orders. There was a wide variety on offer.
Easy to miss the turn into the drive from the A413 because of the distracting HS2 notices.

It was a great location and place to stay, the owners are very hospitable and even better if you like dogs (as we do :)) Beds were comfortable and breakfast was perfect with a choice, cooked or prepared to your preference.
Everything was great, it was a bit hot in the room, but it was due to the beautiful weather outside, which we were very fortunate to have. We did have a bit of road noise but this can't be helped and we had earplugs so a good night sleep.

Very pleasant welcome from our host, who introduced himself and spoke about the area. Showed us our room and pointed out a couple things applicable to the room, gave us the breakfast menu, keys to the front door and left us to get settled. We made good use of the tea and coffee provided in the room and also a very welcome fruit bowl. We left to go to a family party and had no problems accessing the property later that evening. A good nights sleep followed by a wonderful breakfast all cooked freshly by our host Anthony. Had the most enjoyable time there and plan to return for a few nights so as to explore the surrounding area, hopefully before not too long.

This is an excellent BandB. Anthony gave us a warm welcome and provided lots of helpful directions to parking in Great Missenden etc. The house is spotless and both rooms were warm and comfortable. We preordered breakfast on the previous evening and Anthony served a delicious breakfast to each of us with our own individual requirements. The house is set in glorious countryside and we had the bonus of watching a starling mumuration as the sun set.

We were impressed with the age of this property and the very large comfortable room (the twin bed room). The room overlooked a lovely garden and fields. Our hosts were very kind and we liked the homely feel with the opportunity to meet the two dogs and one cat who lived in the owner's part of this house. We could sit out in the garden. We felt like part of the family. I had asked in advance for a later breakfast on the Saturday morning - which must have upset our hosts' timetable for the day - but they were very gracious and accommodating.
The room had an ensuite which was good for our purposes, but the shower had limited head room and the space around the toilet was a little cramped. However, there was a bigger bathroom just along the corridor which I am sure could have been used. This cottage is just off a fast country road (60 mph), so you do get some road noise (which quietens overnight). I don't think that you can easily walk to any eateries - but they are a short drive away.

We arrived soaking wet at the end of a long day walking The Ridgeway long distance path. We were welcomed in by Anthony who is a real gentleman, friendly and interesting. We had a comfortable night in his lovely home. After a lovely breakfast, Anthony kindly offered to drive us to our starting point for the day. We loved our stay here and would love to visit again for a longer period of time.

Our host Anthony was charming and gracious. We felt as though we were staying with friends! Breakfast was really excellent with plenty of choice. Lovely view over the fields.
A little close to the road but very soundproof we didn’t hear a single vehicle. So not any sort of problem.

Very warm welcome. Lovely large house and garden full of character. Large twin bedroom with all facilities. Good English breakfast with plenty of choice. Interesting local footpaths, though many are broken as HS2 ploughs through the countryside.

You chose what you would like for breakfast the night before and everything was on the table as requested. Breakfast was very good and the host was very attentive and friendly. Very large bedroom, bathrobes provided. Very large private shower room down the corridor (not the usual setup but was acceptable).
Toiletries in shower room consisted of shower gel and shampoo combined (2 in 1 for men). As a female I would have preferred to have separate shampoo and shower gel (just a minor point).
