Food was lovely with great choice and quality. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Great value for money, and the location was ideal for what we needed as we were on a training day nearby. Room was clean. Building has a lot of character. For one night and for the amount of time we were in the room it was ok, it was a good choice to stay overnight.
The beds (-we had a twin room) were really narrow and not the comfiest, and suspect they normally join together as a double. The room did look a bit tired in places. The TV signal was pixelated and breaking up, but we were only there for one night so not an issue for us. Room above was noisy and you could hear someone walking around for what seemed like ages at 0200 am.

We had dinner and breakfast and both meals were very good. The room was attractive , clean and spacious with a lovely bathroom, a large and comfortable bed and large towels. I dislike milk that is not fresh, so it was good to be offered fresh milk from the kitchen for our tea and coffee in the room. The area was great as it was close to the villages we had planned to visit in the Cotswolds. The Inn had history and character, which was important for us.
We were facing the street, which was rather noisy. One of our breakfast waitresses was not particularly friendly.

upon arrival the carpark had plenty of parking space near to the rooms and next to the pub for us to park. We were greeted with a smile and warm welcome, booked in quickly and able to put our bags in our room straight away. The room was a good size, lovely comfy bed and well lit bathroom, plenty of hanging space for our clothes and a beautiful window seat next to the bed. Dressing table had a chair, so could sit and do hair/ make up in front of the mirror. Breakfast was delicious, lots of choice off the menu and plenty of cereal and juice too. Staff were very accommodating and quick to remedy an issue we had with closing a window. Really enjoyed our stay, going to book again but for longer this time.

The food was very good specially in the evening.and there was a nice friendly atmosphere in the main inn. Staff members were cheerful. Our twin room was comfortable.
Lighting was poor around the cottage annex where we stayed – could have tripped and fallen on rough road. Needs much improvement (better lighting) on coming dark evenings. Bedside lamp was broken or may have just needed a bulb, we reported it on the first night but nothing was done. We swapped it for the other lamp but only one of us could read at night with that. Service at dinner was slow but as said, food was good. PS – couldn't find the chocolate promised on booking form!

Full marks, it was the perfect stop for our last night heading back to Liverpool, we were a group of seven scooterists coming home from a trip through Flanders and Normandy and stopped at the Colesbourne Inn for one night to break the journey. What a lovely inn, friendly and helpful staff and plenty of parking for our 7 scooters. The evening meal was fantastic and the breakfast was probably one of the best breakfasts I've ever had, served on hot plates. There is a great selection of beers, very varied menu and great atmosphere.
NOTHING!

It was in a quiet quaint part of Cheltenham/cotswolds, the rooms were clean tidy and warm! Bed was comfortable and clean, Breakfast was really good with great service and it’s really good to see the staff all got on well and worked hard to make the stay excellent, not one night did we leave the bar without someone saying goodbye! I would come back here in a heartbeat
If there was one gripe it was the cost for 2 nights but look, I get that and businesses have to make money on peak times like Cheltenham especially after a pandemic, I chose to go and I am happy I didand it will be no different at aintree next month!

Charming and extensive interesting historical period property, lovely relaxed furnishings to main Inn. The room was very nicely furnished, very large room, large bathroom, heating worked well. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Tasty meals, and wide selection of nice drinks. Good pleasant friendly service by staff. Felt welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast coffee was excellent. Plenty of hot water, excellent heated towel rail, nice towels, and excellent shower. Extremely convenient location, large car parks (plural).
Path ant doorway to annex accommodation entrance was very muddy with pool of standing water, not good for smart footwear. Quite a few cobwebs in room. An ant ingress issue was evident. Sink water was very slow to drain away. No cereal bowls at breakfast, had to help ourselves from the cupboard. All easily fixed with attention to detail.

Lovely room. Very quiet. Massive, comfy double bed.Super shower and large fluffy towels. Impressive main building with a very homely feel and lots of character. Dinner in the pub was exceptional - a wonderful, varied menu and very fresh, tasty food. Good wine too. All of the staff are super friendly and polite. Breakfast the following morning, included in the price, was also very good. 10/10 from us.
Nothing.

Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of continental and full options. A nice selection of beers, real ales and spirits. Accommodation was a spacious with a large bedroom and bathroom. Plenty of free parking.
A very minor complaint - couldn't find a thermostat to increase bedroom temperature as it was cold snap outside, but it wasn't Baltic, just rather cool. Radiators were never on. Other than that - first rate.
