A relaxed, friendly atmosphere with attentive staff and a varied menu that doesn't break the bank. Our room was very clean with TV, coffee-making, etc. Nice modern bathroom with shower that didn't go hot-and-cold! Great wi-fi with built-in USB charge points. Plenty of storage. Ticked lots of boxes.
I didn't sleep as well as I might. Pillows were limp and didn't support, and the bed became a little clammy. I'm not qualified on the subject of materials but I suspect it wasn't cotton . A shame.

Having clean room and facilities is top priority for me and this was spotless. Also, this was first room from many we stayed over the years that had TV and programs working without a fault and we were able to continue with our favourite show on Netflix in the evening. Spacious room with comfy bed, bathroom had everything we need, it was nice and quiet, food was delicious and staff was lovely.
Absolutely nothing really to complain about. Back access and rear garden were in some state of disrepair, but it's not in use so I don't see any issue with it. We've seen it just because our room was next to it.

The food was amazing, really tasty, beautifully presented, plentiful and lots of options. The staff were all really warm and welcoming without being intrusive and most importantly, were incredibly helpful. The location was perfect for us, very close by for a family wedding. The room was comfortable and staff supportive making sure all or needs were met, keeping us topped up with water, teas, towels etc.. Did I mention the food...hahaha, we do love our food and this was great! Good staple menu and a great selection of specials to choose from, all fairly priced. Also great wine selection, offering excellent value for money. But as with all hospitality, it's the staff that make for a great experience. And they did for us! Highly recommend.
More slightly bigger towels, but those we had did the job and didn't interfere in our great experience.

The hotel was in a great location to where we needed to go for our trip to riat hotel staff were friendly and helpful when we got into our room is was clean and tidy with all we needed for a stay the beds were comfy and clean as was the bathroom. We never made use of the bar or food but I'm sure it would have been just as good as the rooms would definitely recommend if you want somewhere quiet and peaceful.
Nothing everything was perfect

The room was lovely and spacious, super tidy and clean. There is lots of natural light in the rooms, yet the curtains are dark so you can sleep in if needed. Everything was presented really nicely, the towels and hot drinks and biscuits. We spoke to two different staff members and they were both very polite and happy to help.
The full English was a little pricey, but it was cooked really nicely so was happy to pay. (£12 for Full English, £6 for a Continental)

A really friendly owner family run Hotel/Inn. The room was a good size and very clean and comfortable. The bed was also very comfortable and en suite bathroom with shower was nice and clean and the shower was large enough and powerful enough. Breakfast and dinner wasn't included in the price but was available. I had a 7am cooked English breakfast on the first morning and it was lovely. The staff told me that if I had wanted breakfast earlier then this would not be a problem. I also had dinner for 2 days during my stay and then for another 2 days while I was at another hotel that had no evening food service. The menu was very good and the food was brilliant both in terms of quality and quantity. I enjoyed my stay there so much that I've asked to book a further stay next year. I wouldn't hesitate to go back and the owner and all of the staff were really friendly, nice and welcoming.
There was nothing that I didn't like.

What an amazing place to stay. Quiet location, lovely setting pretty gardens, friendly helpful staff, very clean, comfortable room and bathroom. Coffee and tea, making facilities in room etc. Had all we needed for a very restful, comfortable stay.We had pretty views from our room.
Is on a tight road bend. Just need to be careful when driving in and out, otherwise perfect.

The staff, the staff and the staff. Loved that it’s a proper restaurant with rooms, rather than a pub. Location is great. Peaceful nights sleep. Excellent food. Everything beautifully clean. Water by the bed.
A bath would have been nice, though the shower was great. Our dinner was excellent although a very small portion of veg in relation to main course.

Robert checked us in and was a delightful gentleman, so sweet and kind. We thought our room was lovely, the shower was hot and the ensuite bathroom roomy. We had dinner in the bar downstairs and it was great, healthy and good value for money. They easily accommodated my food allergies and Josh who took our order was a lovely guy too!

Overall a comfortable small hotel/restaurant in a good location for our purpose. The staff were very accomodating and the room was clean and comfortable. Some of the public areas are a little tired, although this didn't detract too much. Breakfast was good and freshly cooked, which is much better than buffet fare. We assumed the food at other times was good also as the restaurant was very busy.
Nothing really.
