The staff, for the best part of our stay, were courteous and friendly. There were one or two occasions where it seemed a bit too much effort when requests were made to the serving staff but other than that, very good. We ate on both of the nights we were there and there were no complaints, from our group of 10, about the food that was served and it was all acceptable value. The breakfast was very good and offered lots of variation and they did their best to supply any special requests that were made. The bar staff were friendly and engaging.

I booked via booking.com and the normal happens. Only three rooms available. we booked three rooms but could not book the Saturday night, as they had another function, which is fine. we were meeting people there and they managed to book rooms!!! and then for the week before travel I was offered to upgrade the room, in some kind of auction, which is a bit of a Mickey take as there were, originally, only three rooms available. Good old Booking.com pressuring you in to booking. The bed in our room was small and you had to step into the bath to shower which was fine for us but if you were a bit older, as some of our group were, this could be a problem.

The area was excellent so quiet and clean the hotel was in a lovely setting with beautiful gardens inside the hotel perfect clean welcoming and bright the staff were amazing always helpful the restaurant was the best ever well worth a visit if you are in the area the hotel is very spacious and plenty of seating inside and out and it overlooks the sea on a sunny day it's breathtaking.

The only thing that let the hotel down was the size of the rooms a little too small to move around and only 1chair to sit in don't always want to sit on the bed everything else was fine

Everything! The hotel was stunning, outside and in. Beautiful drive way up to the hotel with a very pretty garden out the front with seating and picnic tables. Parking was ample and safe. Beautiful light fitting in the reception area-stunning! Very friendly staff to greet us and an equally nice lady to say goodbye in the morning. Our room was so clean and cosy and the bed was so very comfy. We had a great night's sleep. The facilities were very clean and the bathroom was actually very large. So very happy we chose this hotel and we would definitely stay again.

We liked everything!!

An attractive hotel in a pretty location. Combines quality with a nice relaxed vibe. Staff across the board are very friendly, kind and professional. The hotel as a whole makes you feel secure, welcome and comfortable. There are on-site bar/restaurant facilities. I didn't personally eat breakfast or dinner at the hotel but I did enjoy a glass or two of wine looking out to the waterside view. It is a reasonable walk to and from Dundee City Centre as long as you are fit and mobile. There is also free on site parking.

No complaints. The noise from the bathroom fans in neighbouring rooms is quite loud in the mornings but compared to some hotels there was actually less noise overall.

We used this hotel when my Daughter was rushed from Aberdeen to Ninewells hospital. So wasn't able to use the hotel to full advantage. What I will say cause at time of booking wasn't sure how many nights everyone at hotel worked with us to let stay at that hotel. Bernard and Neil the night porters were amazing and very chatty. The taxi call button on reception was our best friend unfortunately but again couldn't fault that the longest we waited for a taxi was 8minutes which is nothing. Our 1 night stay ended up 5 nights but will be back and hopefully get the benefit of bar,food and lovely views. Thanks to all staff especially Lesley for your help and support in our difficult situation.

Nothing at all. Everything was perfect

A great location, beautiful views from the restaurant of the Tay, great big car park too, very comfortable beds and lovely rooms and great large modern spotless bathrooms, proper heating i.e radiators in the rooms as well. The staff are fantastic !! friendly, helpful, attentive and efficient !! This is the first hotel that i have tipped the staff 3 nights running !! The food (Great quality breakfast as well) is lovely ! in fact on the day i checked out i called back in the evening for dinner !!! I think i could happily live in the Invercarse Hotel - Absolutely loved it !!!!

Such a lovely Ambience to this hotel, it is in a great location with fabulous views over the Tay, the staff are attentive and friendly and very efficient, the rooms are lovely, comfortable bed, fantastic bathroom and proper heating too - i.e. Radiators !! which is great !! A Big car park and excellent food in the restaurant and quality food and plenty of choice for breakfast too, a comforatsbls lounge area to sit in with a nice drink from the well stocked bar - only downside for me was my length of stay wasn't long enough - I really enjoyed my stay at the Invercarse Hotel - I highly recommend this !!!!

Nothing of note.

The shower was great, and comfy bed, nice big tv and soft sheets. Tea making facilities good also. And i was offered help with my luggage to my room and then from reception to my car the next day, which I took. Good heating in the room.

There were muddy foot prints in the bathroom, the shower dripped. I was not made aware there would be steps to my room, not up a flight, but 4 lots of 3 steps. I had my baby in a buggy which made it very difficult to manoeuvre to my room.

Lovely traditional, picturesque hotel Staff were very helpful My partner enjoyed his breakfast Very comfortable bed. Quiet room. A great sleep! Nice shower The hospitality for the Funeral Reception was good

Some areas were a bit 'tired' eg corridors could do with redecorating and some of the floorboards squeaking There was no option for a smaller breakfast, eg Continental. so I didn't have any! The toiletries were very sparse - just a universal gel for soap, shampoo etc (luckily we brought our own)

The setting, scenery, the wedding venue. The reasonable price of drinks at the function and the friendly staff.

I found the receptionist on the Friday night a bit abrupt. I questioned if the room included breakfast and I was told it was room only I had booked. She promptly said I could have breakfast for an extra £13 per night. She seemed to be hurrying me to get me booked in so she could go back to chatting to her colleague. For £160 for two nights, most hotels I have stayed in include a breakfast. That was the only downside to a lovely stay/wedding.
