Tranquil setting. Excellent restaurant. Waitress in restaurant absolutely first class and excellent chef! We thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal.

Lack of bedside cabinets, or shelf at side of bed. Could be much cleaner. Floor wasn’t particularly clean, especially around bed. As bed close to wall, each time we got into bed we were accompanied by dust and grit from the floor which wasn’t pleasant. Lots of dusty cobwebs. Requires a good clean, not just a whip round which makes it look clean on first entrance. On leaving, staff member (when eventually found someone for reception), did not ask if we enjoyed our stay, quite disinterested in customer. Disappointing as place could be so much better.

Beautiful views. Comfortable accomodation. Loved the cosy feel and the bath and wood burner. Staff really friendly and helpful. Food was excellent too. We found it to be very relaxing.

We couldn"t work the tempreature on the thermostat and found it too warm. Especially at night when the doors closed. The huts location could be more private. Fishermen positioned themself lake side at the foot of our cabin and as the hot tub isnt covered, it felt intrusive. Fortunately they didnt stay too long. We went for food and drinks and they were away on our return otherwise id have had to ask them to move on. The bedroom would benefit from a bedside table/shelf for your phone or bottled water. Also some chairs to sit on outwith the sunshine. We were fortunate to get good weather and had to then sit on the astrograss. The swing is nice but not practical.

The shepherd hut was beautiful, it has everything you needed and was spotless. It was amazing sleeping under the stars, very magical. The Bed was comfortable as was the sofa. The bath was amazing, l enjoyed relaxing in it every day. Never used the sauna but looked clean and smelt fresh. I liked the picnic bench too, weather was lovely so l was able to sit out.

The only thing l would possibly say was maybe 2 dish towels as the draining board made the water move over the work top. Wasn't really an issue as had the heating on so dried it on that but maybe in the summer you might need two. Also 2 toilet rolls as 1 wasn't enough.

The size of the property (Glen Lyon) exceeded my expectations, it was so spacious and I loved that there were baby gates so my toddler could not fall down the stairs when crawling around.

Our cabin was not ready for our arrival which was absolutely fine as the lovely staff at the reception offered us complimentary drinks while we waited. The issue was the cleaning process seemed to be a little rushed, when we went in there were puddles of water on the floor and didn’t have access to an ironing board, and some basic kitchen utensils that our other family members in a smaller cabin had and luckily let us use. We are understanding that lateness can happen and we had no problem to wait that little bit extra, just a little more attention to things missing from the cabin, overall a fabulous stay though, will continue to book

The resort is for relaxing and quiet...obviously great for fishermen which we weren't but did enjoy watching them throgh the poring rain! The staff were informal and friendly going the extra step with a smile. Will be back with the whole family dogs and all!

Actually only "observation' was I was inundated with emails on terms and conditions before arriving and "payment due". I phoned to confirm all was well and received an apology...so no problem and then promptly received another load of emails...lol..maybe something to look at...bit off putting before even arriving.

The walks and view were amazing, the hot tub with a view of the lake was great and the shepherds hut was just beautiful inside, it was a very relaxing weekend.

The shepherds hut was beautiful but only a couple of little things which would of made it better is that there was no dish cloth or dish towel for doing our dishes which meant we had to buy some at a local shop, the only other thing I would point out is that we had a dog friendly hut which was great but with the fence slats starting quite far up from the ground it meant my dog was able to escape and she managed to escape 3 times during our stay.

Large 5 bedroom (twin beds) villa , plenty parking at the door , lovely and warm , fab large double height lounge with plenty sofas and long family dining table with comfy padded chairs , also adjoins the well equipped kitchen. Every bedroom has en-suite shower bathroom. If you don’t want to cook the Restaurant serves beautiful meals ( breakfast , Lunch , Dinner) the food was beautifully prepared too , drink is sensibly priced. Got golf course , not expensive! Driving range is there but not used but you can use it with your own golf balls ( yeh! You have to walk round the field collecting them too , but your on holiday!! Fishing is possible on the ponds on site , was busy! We all enjoyed our stay and no unpleasant surprises either.

Minor hiccup booking our dinner table first night , I opted to prebook because there was 9 of us , went thro motions on phone , took £10 deposit per adult , when we arrived on the night no reservation? However there were plenty spaces and the staff all rallied round and we were seated in minutes. ( no money was taken from our account? So they must have hit problems taking the deposit)

The Kingfisher hut was absolutely stunning! Loved the furnishings, design and location. Private & enclosed garden with views of the pond. There is everything you need in the kitchen if you want to cook. Staff at the club house were very friendly and helpful and the food is amazing!

Only a couple of things that could of made it even more amazing is a small chest of drawers and a few more hooks with hangers in the bedroom as there was nowhere to put your clothes. The water wasn’t that hot in the shower & bath and the bath also didn’t keep the water in.

The hut is stunning and in a beautiful secluded area of the estate, still only 5 minutes from all amenities. The hut is cosy and space has been used really well, has every you need to hand. We enjoyed having the doors open and settling down on the comfy couch looking out to bright blue skies and hearing the birds. Hot tub was fantastic! The estate itself is beautiful and very well maintain. Staff are very attentive, friendly and service in the restaurant was good. Food was delicious and well priced. Really nice chilled out couple of days. Only suggestion I would make is to place some kind of grip tape onto the hut steps. Steps are wooden, high and slanted and, got very wet by us being in and out of the hot tub then into hut to use the bathroom. I slipped and have hurt myself quite badly. This hasn't ruined our trip and we will certainly return for another few days away. We really love this estate!

Very nice lodge. Good quiet location and had almost everything you’d need to have a comfortable stay without having to pack too much things. Heated flooring in the master bedrooms’ en-suite was a luxury I didn’t want to leave! (dog loved it too and slept on the floor!) Loved the hot tub and it’s location looking into the water of an evening was amazing.

Only had a sky box with general channels so not much choice to watching anything in the evening. Most places offer Netflix or sky movies etc but very little to watch on general tv. No internet, there is the option to log into the main buildings WiFi as a guest but it’s not proper internet so was slow and didn’t always work. Also there is no dressing gowns or slippers provided for the hot tub and with it being outside and no instant access to it from a back door you need to walk around from the front door to the back where the hot tub is and in the colder months it’s freezing just being in a costume so you definitely want a dressing gown and slippers/flip flops so you would need to bring your own (luckily I did)
