We had a great stay, staff were very helpful, we had breakfast that was good and dinner also good. We booked during Jubilee weekend so had to take single beds, which was ok. ideal location. Would stay again.

we had single beds (not your fault) and no window, but the big sky light was fine, we were out till late so didnt really need a view. Pity breakfast wasnt included in the price. ideally we should have stayed for two nights.

Couldnt actually believe how fast quick and efficient the staff and service was compared to my local wetherspoons. We ordered food on the app and it was so quick we were pleased. We stayed in a disabled access room and it was perfect for my disabled mother. The wet room provided all the space she needed and it helped me actually enjoy my break away without worry. I used the hair dryer after showering and was delighted with how well it worked not like usual hotel hairdryers We really love our stay it was so comfortable and eas to get to the beach again something my disabled mother was desperate to do. We wjll be back very soon i guarantee

I've stayed in quite a few Wetherspoons hotels and this is great. Excellent value. A fairly recent Wetherspoon so the décor is bright and modern, with the usual quirky décor if you look about. and set around a courtyard. The rooms are modern and up to the usual Weatherspoon standard. Located a short walk from the seafront. I was able to park for free directly outside, so long as it wasn't peak daytime.

I stayed in room 7 (I think) - everything fine except only window was a large skylight which is unusual and maybe not to everyone's taste.

Like the 'does what it says on the tin' vibe of the place Totally adequate room, large mirror, wee settee, ample towels

There was no reception staff upon check in, we had to go into the bar. It wasn't too much of a problem but people queueing at the bar for food etc. must have thought we were cheating. There seemed to be a problem with finding a teaspoon at breakfast time. Chap came back and said he could only find one! We had a room with no window. Felt a bit stuffy. Friend asked for bacon on top of her pasta, was presented with none.

Great location in centre of town. We got parked opposite the hotel but it's just pot luck. Great being above a nice Wetherspoons bar/restaurant.Usual great value and super handy! Lift in hotel was great for my wife.

As mentioned we got parked outside the hotel but keep in mind the hotel does no provide any parking. The room was decent but at no time were we told it did not have a window! We managed but if I had known we would have not stayed there. Floors running off at an angle but then again it's an old building!

Good base for exploring the area. Purpose of trip was to visit Dundee V&A museum. Broughty Ferry is a very exclusive area. Good choice of Pubs, restaurants and cafes. Also independent traders. Very close to waterfront. Train station within 2 min walking distance. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Place was busy and we had a Steak dinner one night and breakfast also. Trips to the East Neuk, Montrose and Dundee were enjoyed. Would stay again.

When staff brought food to our table the waiter accidentally spilled hot sauce over my husband. He did apologise however my husband had to ask for some ice as his fingers were blistering. There was no follow up enquiry to ensure my husband was ok and I was surprised he was not approached to complete an accident log. My husband did not want to make a fuss as we were with friends.

The pub was spacious and clean, the hotel room was also spacious and clean. The staff were super friendly and the facilities were excellent. To be honest, I wasn't expecting a lot out of a Wetherspoons but this hotel came through with everything I could have wanted. I've paid more and got less at other hotels

Hotel is really close to Broughty Ferry train station but the train and other general transport links into Dundee and Leuchars from Broughty Ferry aren't that regular or reliable. This is not the fault of the hotel of course but something to keep in mind if you need to travel on public transport to nearby areas, as its not that easy getting around from this location

Stayed here so many times now, which should suggest to anyone reading this, you get a really good nights sleep. The rooms, bed and en suite are all clean tidy and very comfy. We paid more this time from previous stays and the only draw back was having to navigate the rabbit warren of corridors. Room 25 has a better shower than room 4, more modern with better water pressure. We had a little hick up with the window which at first we couldn't get to shut. When we stay we always enjoy an evening meal and breakfast which is not included with the price of the room. Jolly's is in a fab location in the centre of Broughty Ferry, close to the beach and shops on the doorstep. There is free parking just down the road from Jolly's roughly a 5 min walk (if that).

We usually stay in rooms 1-12, this time we got room 25. We had difficulty shutting the window but this was a necessity as we where facing the pub over the road. Once shut everything was fine.

The room was up to expectations, very comfortable, clean and had everything necessary even something other hotels usually don't provide - bottled drinking water.

The food at the restaurant was dry and overcooked (burned). I stayed at this hotel 6 months ago and the food was on a completely different level, tasy, juicy and done just right. Don't know what happened but it didn't leave a good impression of the place this time...
