I loved the property, so clean, every tiny detail was thought out in our room, beautifully decorated, bathroom was gorgeous, flow of shower wasn’t the best but only a small inconvenience and didn’t detract from the comfort of our room. Gaynor was an excellent host and her attention to detail was superb. Location was excellent and easy access to beach and promenade walk, weather was glorious too which was a blessing, breakfast was superb with plenty of choice, I will definitely choose this accommodation when I am next in Eastbourne. Highly recommend!!

Shower had slow water flow

Gaynor was so friendly and accommodating. I had my dates mixed up and arrived a day early but she was able to give me a room last minute!! We had the Deluxe Double room with a sea view and a balcony. The room was stunning. Very big, big bathroom and all the facilities one could ask for! One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in and definitely the best B&B by far. The breakfast was delicious. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. Thank you so much!!! Jackie and Vijay. We will definitely be back again xxxxx

This was one of the best places we stayed. We entered the hotel around 8pm and was greeted by Gaynor, a lovely, lovely host who instantly made us feel at home. It felt less like a hotel and more like a home we were invited to. There are well-designed Eastbourne themed props decorating the hallway and you’ll appreciate every detail. Gaynor also cooked breakfast every morning—we were given a form that asks what time we would like the breakfast and had a variety of options(sides and vegetarian menu included) we can choose from. Our room was the only room on the second floor, and had a vintage English theme. There are plenty of towels, tray for shoes, 2 robes, iron and board, fridge, and amenities—there’s a tray of tea/coffee/hot chocolate with biscuits and an electric kettle. Everything you need is there, but we could also fill a form to ask for something if we wanted. Everything was so clean. Location was also excellent—3min walk away from the beach. There’s also a restaurant called the Beach Deck across the street that overlooks the clear beach view and has decent menu. Less than 15 minute walk away is the pier where you can take the hop on-off bus to get to Beachy Head and/or the Seven Sisters. Perfect stay!

none!

We stayed in the deluxe double room which was lovely, with a fantastic sea view, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Kettle and teas/coffee and biscuits also provided in the room. Great choice of menu for breakfast, delicious! Gaynor was a delightful host and on hand for any queries, advice etc.

The only one small thing was the water pressure in the bathroom was very low. but, as we were only there a few days - not a big problem.

Amazing choice of food on the menu for breakfast. We had a sea view room and the property was located within walking distance of the town and sea front. Gaynor the host is very attentive and adds lots of extras like fresh milk and water in the fridge in your room along with a choice of tea, coffee and chocolate sachets.

We have just come back from a wonderful relaxing holiday here. The host Gaynor is very friendly and helpful. Our room was really comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. The fridge in the room was useful and a great idea. There is a microwave downstairs in the breakfast room which we used for our evening meal has well. Plates, bowls, mugs, teacups and wine glasses in the room for your convenience. We stayed in room 5 and woke up every morning to a amazing seaview. Breakfast was lovely. I'm vegan had lots to choose from with a separate menu which you select your choice the evening before and leave in a basket downstairs for Gaynor. The location is good with the beachfront opposite and local shops close by. Princess park is a short walk away with a cafe in the middle overlooking the lake. We will definitely book for next year.

Going home :) Everything good, no complaints at all.

How clean, how welcoming Gaynor was, the breakfast was one of the best we’ve had from a B and B, our room was outstanding along with an amazing bathroom and enjoying a large balcony with sea view, an absolutely wonder B and B.

Every thing. We have given top marks in all the categories but that doesn't begin to do justice to the warmth of Gaynor's welcome and the love which she puts into the experience for guests. There are so many thoughtful touches: fresh milk in a fridge, options to eat in, ample extra blankets, binoculars to take advantage of the balcony and the sea view, ample tea and coffee.

Gaynor made us feel very welcome from the moment we met her. She advised she had upgraded us to a larger room that was now available. The room was very clean, homely with an information pack regarding the service that would be provided with leaflets for things to do', what's on, maps etc. On arrival we found some milk and water in the fridge so it was nice to have a cuppa after traveling. The view from the bedroom was lovely as you got to see the sunrise. Also you can see the sea. There is a small doorway in the window so you can sit on the balcony. The breakfast menu was amazing and had such variety. You could also select the time you wanted for your breakfast. Everyday you were provided with a breakfast menu to place your order for the following day. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a walk in shower, along with a bath. Towels, flannels, and toiletries were provided. There was a hairdryer and hot brush. Iron, ironing board. Tower fan for stays during warm weather There are tea making facilities in the room. You could replenish the tea, coffee, biscuits etc by completing a form provided. Dressing table, table and chairs, small sofa.extra large wardrobe, The lighting in the room is perfect.

That we didn't book a longer to stay.

The house was in a quiet location near the seafront and promenade. No noise at night. We were able to park outside the property. We were made to feel welcome and to come and go as we pleased. Everything was spotless, the host Gaynor has built a wardrobe in the bedroom with enough storage space to hang clothes and stored other things. We were also provided with lots of hangers. There were mirrors throughout the bedroom and bathroom so you could see yourself from every angle. Again very well thought out. There is also a fridge in the room with 2 bottles of water and a bottle of fresh milk. The bottle milk was replaced when needed. There is a good selection of coffee and tea. The bed was comfortable and we slept very well. If you needed extra towels Gaynor would provide them. Gaynor was very attentive, and not intrusive and was there to offer us advice when asked. There was a lot of choices at breakfast. The breakfast was outstanding, fresh and set us up for the day.

Leaving.
