There is no dining/breakfast room at the hotel but here is a communal open plan, but private, area adjacent to reception providing microwave and fridge, sink that was probably at one time the hotel bar along with a table and seating. The bedroom had a kettle and coffee/tea/milk. The en-suite shower pressure was great and always ample hot water. Given that this hotel is listed as a 2 star the facilities were clean and well looked after. The Manager of the hotel was an exceptionally good host, polite and helpful, but at the same time very professional.

I was on a discounted rate and probably not in the best room in the hotel, but the mattress although clean and ok was not the most comfortable I have slept on. It was not uncomfortable, it was simply functional, rather than a pleasure to sleep on. The outside could do with a bit of painting to smarten it up a little.

Perfect location. The hotel is exactly opposite to the beach. It was so convenient to make multiple trips to the beach. Tesco express and take away shops/restaurants are within 2-3 minutes walking distance. Pizza restaurant is halal. Hotel also provides parking permit for the whole length of the stay for £2.50. Hotel has a small kitchen area with microwave, electric kettle and toaster. The manager also allowed us to use our small electric grill to grill fish. The manager at the reception is very professional. He makes sure that customers have a comfortable stay. He is friendly and helpful. We asked on help number for the iron, didn't realise that the manager was off duty as it was late night but he still dropped the iron to the hotel.

It is a comfortable hotel with a homely feel. Good value for price.

My stay at the hotel was extremely pleasant! Big thanks to Adel who was always available and made my stay unforgettable, helping me at anytime of the day! The location is SUPER, facing the beautiful seaside, 2 minutes walk from the bus stop that takes you to the beautiful Seven Sisters. The common areas are spacious and clean. Being a 2 stars hotel, I'm completely satisfied for the price/value! Thank you again Oyo hotel and Adel, I'll be back here for sure!

When my partner and I arrived, I won't lie, the outside didn't look great, but getting in, I was blown away by how nice the place was. The member of staff on was extremely helpful, helped my partner and I, who have mobility issues, with our bags, took the time to explain the elevator, the wifi, the bathroom, everything that we needed to know. Whenever we went downstairs, we were greeted by the friendly staff, and if we needed anything, like extra pillows, they made that happen quickly. The whole building had a very pleasant ambience, and it was nice to just sit in there. One thing I did note was how the tv signal was good, the rooms had all the needed facilities, and honestly, the price was better than any other place in the area. I know sometimes the smaller hotels aren't good, but I've stayed at some of the bigger hotels and found them lacking in so much. The staff were very respectful and welcoming as well. We needed to order something online during our stay, they received it, and kept it safe for us, and when we ordered in, the staff brought the food up for us. Honestly, I can't say enough nice things about this place. Definitely gonna visit again!

Honestly, there wasn't anything I didn't like. I wrote a lot in the above box, but there wasn't anything negative about our stay. We had everything we needed, polite staff, clean room, everything was perfect. I think there was only one thing that they did point out, and not their fault since it's the building, but to have a hot shower, we needed to leave the hot tap on in the bathroom sink for about 20-30 mins, because of the pipes, but they told us that to begin with, and honestly, it didn't cause any problems anyway.

The location is great, overlooking the sea and close to the town centre. There is a late night mini supermarket within 5 minutes walk that is really useful for getting any items you might have forgotten to bring with you. I was able to park almost opposite the hotel. The room was a good size and very quiet. Having a microwave and fridge in the communal area was helpful, as I prefer fresh milk in my coffee.

The hotel is beginning to look a little scruffy on the outside. It would be nice if it was decorated soon.

Check in / out was smooth & quick. Ample parking on road outside (free between 6pm & 8pm). Plenty of tea/coffee provided for in-room facilities, chocolates and biscuits was also a nice touch. There was a lift in the hotel so didn't need to hump bags up the stairs. Room was clean. We were looking for a budget hotel to sleep overnight whilst visiting family in the area so didn't spend too much time in the hotel as only really looking for a good value clean, safe place to stay overnight with free parking overnight nearby. This hotel met that brief and would recommend for others seeking similar.

Nothing springs to mind

To be honest, at that price we didn't expect much - but we were very pleasantly surprised. We had a nicely-decorated, well-equipped en suite room, spotlessly clean, with everything we needed - comfortable bed, good TV, efficient heater, table and chairs. Everything in working order. As for the "noisy" pub, we overlooked it and didn't hear a thing, over a Bank Holiday weekend. Some reviews say tea and coffee are only available in the foyer, but we had a tea-tray and kettle in our room. Extraordinary value.

Clearly one of the ways in which they keep the cost down is by not cleaning the rooms when you stay a few nights. It didn't bother us at all - it only takes a minute to make the bed, and if we'd needed more supplies we could have asked. But it might not please some people. No complaints.

The room was actually lovely compared to the reviews. I wasn't expecting my room to be so nice, it was clean and fresh. I did find a hair in the towels which were left unfortunately. For the price it was good and fair with my room having a sea view which was a lovely addition. The walls were thin and I heard people snoring in the next room aswell as their TV quite loud late at night. The website did day there was room service available but this didn't seem to be an option and there was no breakfast included which I knew about. Parts of the hotel towards the ground floor did smell veey damp but the room itself was absolutely clean and fresh. The staff seemed helpful and friendly enough. For a room only it was good.

I didn't get a room I booked for but it was better than I expected it to be

1. Quite near the beach and the city center 2. The staff was really nice, he was easy to reach out and helpful: The first room was a bit smelly and he immediately changed another one for us, he also provided hair dryer and let us put the luggage in the hotel before check in.

The building is a bit old and the sound insulation was poor, we can hear the noice of other’s party outside. Also, it took a long time to wait for the hot water in the shower.

The hotel is great for the price you pay, the rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Honestly, I have stayed here twice and there's not much i can complain about. Its not your 5* hotel but its very homely and the beach is just outside. Everything is in a walking distance and parking permit provided is so cheap. Will be here again soon :)

The mattress isn't the best, when you lay down you do feel the springs and it sinks really low.
